This was my first visit and I was not impressed. While the restaurant appeared bright and clean, the cashier friendly; the quality of service and food was not good. All 3 of my orders had the wrong sides. They didn't bother to check what sides went with which burger. Also the burgers toppings were all mixed up. It appears whoever built the hamburgers didn't pay attention, nor did the person who double checked the order. I also was disappointed in the quality of the hamburgers. The hamburgers toppings appeared to be a soupy mess. There was really no substance. Better lettuce, tomatoes, and onions would make the hamburger so much better. Everything was so thin and a sloppy mess. The restaurant has an app and there are also kiosks inside if you wish to customize your order. There are burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. They also have shakes, malts and deserts. If you are hungry at 3am, don't worry. They are open 24 hours, and can serve you breakfast. read more

I hadn't had Whataburger since I was in Florida a couple years ago so I was pretty happy to stumble upon this location today . It was pretty packed in here, but I noticed right away. How nice and clean that everything was. I forgot that they bring the food to your table so that was pretty cool and everything came out fast and fresh. After waiting more than a month for the long lines to die down, my wife and I decided to give this place a try Being a past restaurant owner, I am very aware of the challenges facing a new opening. We waited 16 mins for our order which had it been correct, we probably would not have minded, however we had to make three trips up the counter to correct our order... The fries were cold which is tough for me to comprehend seeing how busy the place was at the time of our visit. We were promptly given an exchange which were much warmer and fresher. My burger once I unwrapped, I noticed was a single and I paid for a double so it had to be returned as well. A prompt replacement took about 6 mins more. In the meantime, I ate all my fries. From my past as a restaurant owner, I would have brought out more fries knowing exactly what was happening back at the table. Lastly my wife never received her milkshake that we paid for.?? She waited about as long as I did for my burger. Finally after all correct items arrived and me having no fries left to eat with my burger, the burger quality was only adequate. The old saying of three strikes and you are out does not count yet for this new place, as I am certain they are still ironing out all the bugs and training the staff. We may return sometime down the road to try something other than burgers... I spoke with Albert the operating partner and also expressed my concern as a customer, regarding the dumpster being emptied at dinner hour? He mentioned that the company was supposed to show up early morning. This situation must be resolved to allow proper parking lot traffic flow, as there were literally dozens of customers impacted for at least 15 mins while this mess was taking place out on the lot... I really do not enjoy being the first one to review a new area restaurant but someone has to be first. I do hope others experience a much better visit moving forward. read more

This was the best salad that I have had at a fast food restaurant. It is close to one of the best salads compared to most restaurants. Cobb salad with small drink is $10.19. It is filling. I did not get chicken on it; but the bacon was real bacon. No bits here. A whole boiled sliced egg. Carrot sticks and cheese. It had a spring mix base that was fresh and crispy. The service was great and quick. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. I will be back to try the other salad options. I was impressed. Good job, WhatABurger!!!! read more

Of the 4 new locations around Columbia this is the best. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is usually more fresh than other locations. I wish they had more tables at all the locations since sometimes seating is tight. Their breakfast is good as well, the breakfast taquitos are great when running late and need a quick bite. read more

My first time having whataburger! The service here was very helpful and professional . The menu itself is extremely customizable and I think fairly priced for the portions. I paid $12.55 for a bacon cheeseburger, lg fry and drink. I enjoyed the meal , however I think the meat and bun quality could've been better and I've had better burgers out there , for fast food though, it was pretty good. read more

The burgers are great. They are as good as I remember them being when I was in Florida. It took too long to arrive in South Carolina but they are here now. I'll be be back for certain. A couple of minor issues that won't keep me away. Service was a bit slow. They are newly opened and I am sure they will improve. I am old and loved chocolate malts. The problem is that they do not make them with the dark syrup like in the old days. They use a malt powder which really doesn't mix well. This is pretty much the modern standard and not limited to this chain. Happy that they have arrived at last! read more

Food was good chicken had a little more fat than I would like. Had to go inside after waiting. In the drive-through for five minutes after no one responded us after we were waiting there and then we drove by we saw them just like waiting in the kitchen and then we went in ordered on the kiosk. The guy on the counter is a little weird, but he was pretty nice. The drink machine was really bad. All the drinks suck and then we had to ask for to get a drink from the back Fries taste exactly like McDonald's save your money guys. Plus, burger is delicious. onion rings are good. diet Dr Pepper taste like someone pissed in it. Chicken was a little dry. Bacon was pretty good. read more

Have been to this location several times and the food and service has always been good. Unfortunately, this time (9/20/25) it was lacking. We both ordered #1 with cheese. Both orders came without fries. We let them know we had no fries and they came, they were lukewarm. No napkins in the dispenser and after being informed there were no napkins, the dispenser was never refilled while we were there. Music blaring....we couldn't even have a conversation. read more

The only thing I can speak about is the burger. They have Really good burgers, done your way, so don't be scared to ask. They were more than happy to accommodate my wishes, which I appreciate. They have normal burger ingredients, onion (raw,cooked) pickles, avocado, bacon, American/swiss cheese, lettuce tomato, they can make it happen 24/7. The places that run 24/7 get my respect. That's tough to do. Keeping staff for that many hours. They have other options, this was my first and only time here. I will have to try something else next time. I would like other cheese options (cheddar), also some good chili to make the carolina burger! Chili, slaw, mustard, onion is my fav combo!
