Since I've been feeling a little under the weather, I decided that some soup would do me good. I…read morejust moved here and don't have the utensils to make anything, so I was ecstatic to hear about Whatsoup Miami! When I worked in- I was immediately greeted with a hello! Great sign! I was then asked if I had ever visited before- I was shown the menu and provided a description of the available soups. I ended up getting the Carrot Basil and the Butternut Squash-both delicious! Be prepared- they come frozen, but they give instructions for reheating! It's such a well rounded establishment! If you don't want soup- they have pizza! If you don't want pizza or soup- there have Dubai chocolate! Something for everyone! Give them a visit for sure!! I'll definitely be back!

I found WhatsoupMiami through a news article about small local businesses that were popping up…read morearound Miami amidst the pandemic. I read on how they owners would draw inspiration from gastronomy around the world to curate weekly soup menus and how they started the business out of their kitchen. As a huge soup fanatic, I knew I had to try them out. Well, I finally got enjoy the soups and I'll say this: I'll be ordering quite a bit. How it works: Every week the team behind this genius idea offers about 5 soups (the options change from week to week). They make a post with the details of each soup on social media (@whatsoupmiami) and people can order via DM or text. You can pay via Zelle, Venmo, etc; or cash or credit. The soups are $6 for a 16 oz cup and you can either pick them up at different locations throughout the city or have them delivered for $2.75 (3 soup minimum for delivery and delivery fee is waived if you order 5+ soups). The soups: Although my first order was this week, I've been following them for a while on social media, so I've been seeing their weekly menus. I love how their soups are all so different: one week they might have soups from Morocco, France and Colombia and the next it's Cuba, Portugal and Venezuela. I ordered their ajiaco bogotano, lentils with chorizo and beet borscht soups and they all tasted delicious and fresh. They came nicely packed with little sides (bread, crema and capers). The people: The people running the business are amazing. They're so friendly and attentive, and I was surprised at how quick they answered my questions via DM. They even gave me a heads up 15 mins prior to them arriving to deliver my soup! It felt so... human? Like I was getting soup delivered from a friend's kitchen. I love this place and I can't wait to see them thrive.

The menu presented menu intriguing options for food and drinks, and being a large group we ordered most items on the brunch menu. We were all very impressed with the food, even some items which were unique but still very tasty such as the carrot cake pancake! Big kudos to the server who handled our table, as he did an admirable job, especially compared to some other restaurants that made mistakes around orders.

Larissa sent over toffee pull part monkey bread for us and it was so decadent and rich - everyone enjoyed it! Spicy bloody Mary's had a kick and the cookie that came with the coffees were so airy and light. What we ordered: - avocado bene croast- overall solid dish... liked the croissant and bacon but wish the egg was soft boiled or poached and not the well done it came in - breakfast pizza - so good and had a nice kick - breakfast club - good flavor combo - winemakers breakfast - chicken sausage were good and the fig jam was yummy - we ordered our side of hash browns fried hard and it was good but could have been left in more. These as leftovers in the air fryer were amazing! Would definitely come back to try other items and shout out to Larissa for setting a great vibe with great service
