It wasn't the fault of the grocery store itself but the huge crowds and long lines that put me in a bad mood. It felt like everyone on vacation was there that evening doing the same thing I was. That's not the way I wanted to start my vacation off this time. So, I took a chance with this service, and I could not have been more pleased. When we arrived at our condo, our groceries were there waiting. All of the items that needed to be cold had been placed in the refrigerator for us. The other items were boxed up and waiting on the kitchen counter. It took less than five minutes to unbox those items. My husband thought I was crazy for being so excited about groceries. However, he wasn't the one that had had the horrible experience the last time. Tonight, I ordered a veggie pizza from the website that said it would come with green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, and onions. Those were the four boxes that were checked off. I unchecked onions because we don't like them on pizza. The pizza arrived, and instead it was topped with green and red peppers, banana peppers (which are awful) green olives, and possibly some small chunks of mushroom - - couldn't tell underneath all the banana peppers. I tried to call the restaurant and got an answering machine with a message assuring me that I would be called back immediately- - I left a message and of course, didn't get a callback after 20 minutes had passed. So I drove down to the restaurant. Nobody at the counter, a guy in the back room on his phone, who finally looked up after several minutes. When a man came to the counter, I explained the problem, and he said to me "well, the app didn't tell me what you wanted on the pizza. It just said a veggie with no onions." I showed him what my phone said my order was, and he said he would make me a replacement. When I picked up the replacement, it was still wrong. Green olives instead of black. When I asked the man, he said "well, we don't have black olives." Number one, why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it face-to-face, and number two, why does your site say you have them? I drove away and brought the pizza to a very nice group of unhoused citizens. Then I went to a real restaurant and got myself pizza.
