The local dealer claimed the vehicle was too old and wouldn't order an OEM fob, so I went online to find a generic one. When it came in, I took it to Brooks Lock & Key in Huntsville to get the key cut. That's when I realized they were a bona fide automotive locksmith and they were able to program my car's fob functions right at the store. He even told me they could order an OEM fob for the car. I have always had great experiences at both of their locations, but the guys at the Huntsville store really went above and beyond to help me. They are very professional and fast, and it was an overall great experience. I would recommend them for any job. And I'll never have to go to another dealership again!! The only ding is, I asked him to make two additional keys to one lock, which he did, but he didn't give them to me. I tried to get his attention as he drove off and was unsuccessful. That's a good thing, y'all - more secure than the older ones you can program yourself. Brandon answered the phone promptly. I gave him a big window to get here - no emergency - and he showed up sooner than I'd figured. Took just a few minutes and I had a new remote that did what it was supposed to do. $81. You need to have the car, a key and all other remotes to do the programming, btw. Appreciated the service and the quick response.
