Parking was easy, with a metered lot conveniently located across the street. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and requested outdoor seating so we could enjoy the waterfront views and watch the boats pass by. The atmosphere was relaxing, scenic, and definitely one of the highlights of the experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great personality. Table snacks was a small bowl of popcorn. To start, we ordered a Pearl Bourbon Smash and a Dragon Margarita. The Bourbon Smash was so good that we ordered a second one. The Margarita wasn't my favorite, but I finished it and followed it up with a Sensei Old Fashioned. For our entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bulgogi and the Korean Steak Chimicurri (spelled that way on the menu, so I'm not sure if it was intentional). The Bulgogi portion was generous, and we really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the meat arrived cold. That was disappointing, especially after being told that everything is made from scratch. My husband's entree was served about 10 minutes before mine, which wasn't ideal. Generally, guests dining together should be served at the same time. I encouraged him to start eating so his meal wouldn't get cold, but unfortunately it already was. My steak arrived hot and was cooked slightly more than the medium temperature I requested, leaning closer to medium-well. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. It was served with jasmine rice and maduros, which complemented the dish nicely. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience. The waterfront setting, pleasant service, and enjoyable cocktails made for a great outing. We would definitely consider returning, especially to combine dinner with one of the boat tours. To top it off, our server gave us a bag of cotton candy. I felt like a kid. I haven't eaten cotton candy in years

Went here to celebrate a friends birthday. It is located on…read morethe Riverwalk right next to The Wharf. It has cool outdoor seating under a big tree with views of the river which is so nice to people watch and see the boats go down the new river. We sat inside, which has a really cool vibe...loved it! Nice big bar where you can sit on inside or by the open doors where you can sit outside. We tried some of the specialty drinks on the drink menu - the Smokey old fashion, and lemon drop...they were so good! We had a variety of appetizers- edamame, tuna on crispy rice, shrimp, and pork gyozas. It all was so delicious! Then we shared the Waygu beef skewers which melted in your mouth...they were so tender and delicious! I'd seen photos of the ribs and was very excited to try them...they did not disappoint! We ate every little morsel of them and they were so good that we could have ordered another plate of them, but we were going back to our friends for cake. We met the Owner Lizzy she was super nice! Lizzy came over to talk to us about some of the different Rums Ukiah carries. She even brought two of the bottles over to show us (one from Puerto Rico and one from Japan) and brought glasses for us to taste them...they were so good! We loved this place and we definitely will be coming back!!!

We came on the celebration of their one year birthday of the restaurant so there were lots of reservations. Our server was very nice and staff overall have great service with our drinks never getting too low and our dirty plates never being on the table for too long. The karaage chicken with the mayo and bbq ... I'd go back just for that. We had the crispy rice with tuna which was phenomenal. The bao buns were delicious, nice & fluffy. I couldn't stop thinking about the shishito peppers, they were so perfectly grilled. Another favorite. The ribs were amazing, good size and yummy sauce. Since we were there for the celebration, we were able to take home goodie bags and take a picture on the photo booth they had there! I'm happy to have discovered their Monday happy hour until close to have a reason to go back. We had a great time and enjoyed everything we drank and ate! Hope to be back there soon.

Though Christina is still around she retired and a sold to a relative so the restaurant still bares the Wan name and still has the best in Chinese food. What so much sets Wan's apart from other area Chinese restaurants is that it is maintained impeccable clean. Others in the area are notoriously known for being dirty and a quick check of Dirty Dining proves that. Also, Wan's tends to be more authentic Chinese, whereas others are more New York Chinese; hello General Tao's Chicken. LOL! Wan's is also one of the very few places you can get a real Peking Duck without advanced ordering, which is what I had. It came with the duck totally debone with great marination flavors accompanied by a delicious Hoisin sauce and the most delicate of pancakes. For Chinese food I can definitely recommend Wan's.

After seeing Wan's Tik-Tok videos for a year, we decided to go give it a try. We received the…read moremenus and started perusing them. I asked if they had one in Chinese so my wife could easily read it. She doesn't read English too well. To my surprise, they didn't have one. OK. No problem, I know what she likes so I ordered for her. I was hoping for more actual Chinese fare, but it was all Americanized Chinese dishes. I ordered the Sichuan Beef (which was marked spicy) and asked for it to be made extremely spicy. The waiter told me that he would bring some chili oil with the meal. I also ordered the Velveted Shrimp, Green Beans with Pork (which I was hoping would be like a Gan Bian Si Ji Dou, A very Famous Sichuan dish), and the Steamed Cod. The rice bowl was upside down on a small plate and came out almost immediately. Interesting presentation and it is supposed to keep it warm or something? We waited 10 minutes for the rest of the dishes to arrive. Not a long wait at all. First thing I dove into was the Sichuan Beef, as I lived in the Sichuan Province and love the Sichuan Style spicy food. I didn't see a single pepper, pepper flake or Sichuan Peppercorn in it at all.It wasn't really spicy at all. I asked my wife to give it a try, as things I find not spicy at all, she finds too spicy. She didn't taste a hint of spicy at all. I dumped the entire spicy chili oil that the waiter brought in and mixed it up and tried it again. Still nothing. My wife could still eat it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything really great. When I order Sichuan Spicy food, I expect serious heat, and the mouth numbing Sichuan Peppercorn flavors. Zero. The Green Beans with Pork were pretty meh, as were the Velveted Shrimp and the Steamed Cod. There really wasn't much taste to any of it. If you look at the pictures, you will notice that the sauces were not reduced and did not cling to the food. Maybe that was part of the problem. I jokingly told my wife it was probably better than a Cheap Chinese buffet and not as good as an average authentic Chinese Restaurant. She said she would rather go to the buffet, and she never goes to the buffets... We did arrive there right when they opened and saw Wan come in a half hour later. Maybe the problem was that it wasn't him cooking the food. I do like his video's though. The cost of these four dishes and a soda was $110.00. Highly overpriced, in my opinion, for pretty average Americanized Chinese food.

This is absolutely going to be a part of our rotation for top asian-fusion eats in Fort Lauderdale. Our group of 4 was quite impressed - from the warm service (shout out to Chino), beautifully plated dishes, to the flavors that hit every note from comfort to creativity. In fact, our female friend actually said while most asian restaurants we've introduced them to were very good, this place is by far the BEST of all! We started with 2 orders of grilled chicken skewers - perfectly charred, tender, and lightly sweet from the marinade, that came with a bright cucumber-tomato salad and the creamy peanut sauce that tied everything together. The Bangkok Wings topped with crunchy onions was a standout--so juicy inside. The Tom Kha soup with chicken was comfort in a bowl. Velvety coconut broth, mildly spicy with fresh herbs and mushrooms that soaked up all that flavor. For mains, the Mixed Seafood Pad Thai was just out-of-this world! That was super delish - it had the classic balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Loved the thin, glossy and well-coated rice noodles. The Dynamite mussels was innovative. Creamy, lightly torched, topped with crispy tempura flakes, and beautifully presented. Loved the different textures in each bite. We also ordered a Four Seasons Specialty Roll which came with shrimp tempura, salmon, tuna and some type of white fish with asparagus and eel sauce. Yummo! The menu is huge and we will definitely be back to try more items. Check them out - absolutely worth a visit.
