The service was for INDIVIDUAL LASH EXTENSIONS. $104 later and all that Ms Kawaii Eyelash has to offer me is a $20 coupon for the next time I want to nearly lose an eye. I haven't written a review here for a while, but I still come here to get my lashes done and I have ever since the day I first came. and it's been a couple of years now. my lash technician is Jean. She's an amazing person always in a good mood always happy to listen to what I have to say and she doesn't hesitate if I ask her to fix something or something is bothering my eye, whatever it is, she does it without question. A couple of times because of work or an accident. I had to come a little late, even though that has happened she never rushes you. She always does an amazing job and if something goes wrong after you leave your appointment, they gave you five days to return to get it fixed. This is an amazing customer. I have been going to Ms. Kawaii for over 8 years and have always seen Hannah. Even when I wasn't living in LA, I made time to get my lashes done during visits. One constant issue with this place and their other locations is that they frequently move their lash techs. To continue seeing Hannah, I had to go to Pasadena, SGV, Brea, and Monterey Park (she's still amazing). When Hannah was sent to the Whittier location, I tried a new tech who cut my bottom lashes without telling me, was rude, and did a poor job on my new set. I discovered the cut lashes only after getting home and checking in a larger mirror. I never returned to SGV after that horrifying experience. I then found Serena at the SGV location after Hannah left. While Serena did decent work, she overcharged me every time. Recently, I went back 6 days after a refill because chunks of my lashes had fallen off. Despite asking her to use more glue, the lashes kept falling off easily. She tried to charge me $53 for a fix when I had paid $65 just 6 days earlier. Hannah always charged me reasonably. After making another appointment with Serene, I received a text saying she no longer wanted to do my lashes. I was always polite, even when Serene was late. I complimented her work and was flexible with appointment changes. I'm upset because I've been a loyal customer for so long, referred many people, and never complained, yet I feel there's no customer loyalty in return. read more

I had my lashes removed here because the price was just right! On Google/Apple maps it's really hard to find but it's literally in between Cha Cha & The Loft. I parked in the parking structure that was behind the theater/across the street but when I got to the location I saw that there's another parking lot on the other side (which is a shopping plaza) & that might be easier to park at next time. read more

I'm so glad that they opened a location so close to my work. And I am especially grateful that my lash technician, Nicole, is stationed at this location now. The studio was a little difficult to find at first, but it all worked out, especially knowing where to park exactly and you can always give the studio a call if you are lost. The place is always super clean, cute, and calming. I always look forward to getting my lashes done and a quick power nap. Nicole has never failed me. She understands my style, and she always delivers. She is caring, gentle, and always make sure that I am satisfied with my new lashes every time before I leave the studio. I didn't like the way they did the tail end of my eyes as it looked like it was missing but they texted me to check in and it was fixed. I have been going to miss kawaii for a few years now, and unfortunately this is my first time going where I wasn't totally satisfied. I always like to get my lashes done before I go on vacation. The service was great as usual, my lash tech was very patient and took the time to listen and help me decide how I wanted my lashes done, and she worked very quickly. Initially upon opening my eyes after the service and seeing my lashes they looked great, but I did not have my contacts in since it is unsafe to do so, and obviously my glasses had to be off for the service. So once I was at work later that day I noticed the outer corner of one eye was drooping and much less full than the other eye. (this was not due to fallout as I did not have any since it was still the same day as the service) I know they offer a 5 day warranty but unfortunately since I want my lashes fresh for vacation this was right before I left for my trip and therefore was unable to utilize this warranty. While the warranty is a nice option to fix what might not be quite right, it is hard when I not only had to fit this appointment into my busy schedule in the first place, but also would have to make my appointment further in advance from my trip so they would not be as fresh or lash as long :( My past experiences with miss kawaii have been great, but unfortunately I was quite disappointed this time around as I am now on vacation and the outer corner of one eye is practically bare and the other still looks ok. read more
