Unfortunately, that changed over time. This spring, I was informed my pricing was increasing because he was restructuring his pricing as he worked to grow his business. On the subsequent visit he informed me he was again changing his pricing structure and increasing prices. As a loyal customer, it felt like existing customers were simply paying more to help finance that growth rather than being valued for their continued business. Towards the end of May, I paid to have my home treated for ants. Initially, I only saw an occasional ant afterward, but within a few weeks, I was finding groups of ants in multiple rooms throughout my home. When I contacted Keith, I expected the issue to be addressed. Instead, I was told that Simple Pest Control does not guarantee its work and that I would need to pay for another treatment. He also stated that his product takes one to two months to become effective and that pest control companies don't offer guarantees for ant treatments because ants are so pervasive during the summer. This directly contradicted what I had been told during previous visits. In the past, Keith assured me that if the treatment didn't resolve the issue within a couple of weeks, he would return and re-treat the affected areas at no additional cost. After I pointed this out, he eventually agreed to perform a one-time "courtesy" re-treatment. The customer service during this "courtesy" visit was even more disappointing. We had agreed on a 2:30-3:00 PM appointment window. At 1:06 PM, I received a text stating he was running early and would arrive in 20 minutes. He never asked whether I was home or available. I happened to be grocery shopping and had to abandon my cart with the store manager and rush home. As he was finishing the treatment, I explained that if he was going to arrive more than an hour early, he should at least confirm that his customer was home before showing up. His response was, "I don't need to ask my clients anything. I'm doing you a courtesy. I'm not going to plan my day around you. I'm not even getting paid for this, and I'm too busy to stop and ask you for permission." I'm not quite sure how he plans to treat the inside of a home if the homeowner is not home... At that point, I asked him to leave my home. After this experience, I contacted several other pest control companies to compare their policies. Every company I spoke with stated they stand behind their work and would re-treat the same pest issue if it returned shortly after service without charging the customer again. They also advised that their treatments begin working immediately rather than taking one to two months. I ultimately chose Pest Fighters because they offer a service guarantee, reasonable pricing, effective treatments, and products that are safe for household pets. My experience left me with the impression that Simple Pest Control is focused more on growing its business and raising prices than on taking care of the customers who helped build it. Between repeated price increases, the lack of any service guarantee, inconsistent explanations about follow-up treatments, and disrespectful customer service, I can no longer recommend this company.

He also gives me at-home spider traps I can use and even disposes of them during his visits since it rather grosses me out to do so :) Also, during my most recent appointment, I was totally frazzled due to meetings happening at work, and I told Kevin to go ahead and spray my garage area, and that I'd close the garage door later when I could. What I discovered later is that Kevin actually closed the door himself without me asking, which just shows that he actually thinks about the customer and what's best for them. That defines good service. Finally, their customer service folks are also great. Whenever I've had to reschedule or have questions, they are always easy to get a hold of, prompt, and friendly. The customer rep Morgan is awesome / responsive, the crew was super nice (Andrew and Clayton) and the owner replied timely to questions / concerns as well. The a roughly 3000 sq home - 2 story, the project probably took the team 1.5 hours to complete. I surveyed the site afterwards and it was in good shape - not a whole lot of leftover debris from the roof. The crew used a water hose for the moss / gutter clean and afterwards applied a liquid solution to prevent moss - I was told the solution should be applied every 6 months (water hose and not pressure wash as pressure wash is too much for the roof). A brush wasn't used like some of the other gutter cleaning companies. The next day - when the sun was out I walked across the street to get a clear view of certain sections of my roof. I noticed "green" / moss still on a certain area so I took pictures and sent them to Jordan. He replied and said that he would have the team come back out and take care of it. Overall - Issaquah gutter has great customer service. Giving them a four star because we had to have the crew come out after the project to get the remainder of the moss on the roof. If it was all completed on day 1 I would have given them 5 stars. I engaged with a few other companies up front and went with Issaquah because they were most responsive and professional.

Since this particular service is new for this company (which we didn't know when scheduling), there are still some "kinks" being worked out. First, our tech was not provided access to information we shared with Customer Service in our scheduling process (i.e. our tech didn't know he was serving a home with ceiling vents, and thus, didn't bring a ladder or proper tools AND we were told by Customer Service that he would service the furnace, which he wasn't trained to do). Also, the company doesn't currently vacuum/wipe down affected surfaces after a duct cleaning service, so customers are left with a mess to clean-up. Growth opportunities acknowledged, overall, we enjoyed our experience with this company and can't say enough good things about Justin as a person. He was really such a joy. Pro Tip: Ensure you confirm your service needs directly to the tech before they arrive at your home, so they are adequately prepared.

He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.
