DO NOT USE THESE GUYS I had a step in my garage the needed to be replaced. I reached out the company and let them know I needed some work.(Their estimators are bad at estimating).......The guy came out and I showed him the previous step and said please replace this. I guess it was my bad that a company like this could not replace something to the previous example that already had there. The new step they installed was short and worse then the one I already had there. The first guy did not even attach it to the wall and the second guy had to come out and do that. All together this was almost 600 dollars of work? Does this look like a 600 dollar step. I reached out to a actual carpenter and they would have only charge my 300 dollars. Our bathroom sink cracked and pieces fell out. I used the Home Depot referral service and contacted five potential vendors. Liz from We Honey Do was super responsive, gave us a really detailed estimate and solid idea of the work involved. They definitely beat two other estimates, but aside from that just left me feeling more confident about scope and total cost. They were able to schedule quickly once we had the sink delivery date set. Needed an over the range microwave replaced fast, we're showing the house for selling. They got back with me quickly with a quote, was the most expensive out of all quotes I received but they could get here quickly to do the work so went with them. They actually had a technician available earlier than expected so he was able to arrive and get the work knocked out even quicker than expected. Aaron (I think, I'm bad with names) arrived at 1215, said it'd take an hour and a half to finish and was pretty close to that. He was extremely professional and pleasant, would gladly hire him again for any job. So why 4 stars instead of 5? I guess it kinda sticks in my craw that there's a 3 hour minimum charge for the work along with a $20 fee tacked on "due to increasing fuel costs" - yeah, those costs are hitting all of us, guys. A year out...I am 66. As I was stepping out of the shower, I crossed to the medicine cabinet and opened it. The entire cabinet fell towards me. It's at least 80 pounds because it's oversized, all mirrors inside and out and was packed full. Destroyed our new marble sink surround. We had to replace the entire vanity. And I have ongoing back issues from (reflexively) trying to catch it as it pitched forward. They installed the wrong anchors. Could have killed me. New problem now, they installed the toilet improperly and the seal's leaking! This Bathroom is under a year old. When their plumber walked in (six days after contacting them) he was Without A Mask, I asked if he had been vaccinated. " No, I have not." was his reply. I sent him back for a mask and demanded he be tested pronto. I am on prednisone, which lowers immunity to nothing! I hate this company. My husband reported them to the authorities. Never. I was connected with We Honey Do through Home Depot's referral program to install 2 sets of kitchen cabinets and an over-the-range microwave. From the start, Liz was wonderful to work with. She was prompt, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to get all my questions thoroughly answered. She was able to get the work scheduled for less than a week from first contact which was awesome! Jeff spent two days doing the work and it looks perfect! He was efficient and detail oriented, making sure everything lined up correctly and even checking that our outlets/breakers were set up correctly and to code. I was worried about how to cover up the vent going into the ceiling but he made a custom cover that hides it and matches the cabinets. He then went above and beyond, and used some extra trim pieces to cover up where the backsplash tile had previously been cut poorly. Overall, everyone was very professional and easy to work with. Updated Update: I've lived with the repair for about nine months. The carpet is buckling throughout my area and the paint is *literally* washing off the walls. I imagine this was because they painted after they demoed, but before they repaired my bathroom. They literally painted drywall dust stuck to my walls, rather than waiting until the repair was completed to paint. What a freaking mess... Anyway, WHD sucks so much that I actually changed my home owners insurance to one that costs $300 more per year with the hopes that if I have a situation again, I won't have to accept this level of attention to detail. Here is my feedback about how my service request to Honey Do went today. I answered the door to two gentlemen who were properly masked and they courteously greeted me. They asked about the specifics of my needs and listened carefully to goal for each mini project. Basically the items were home maintenance items that were ones I had put off a long time like gutter issues, a shed door that wouldn't close (rat welcome wagon!) and a rotted sink counter that needed repair. They accomplished everything I asked of them and went above and beyond the instructions I gave to serve my actual need. Case in point - I said that the front gutter wasn't straight and was leading the water to get stuck away from the drain spout but when Logan saw the root cause (pine needles), he cleaned all the gutters. Jake fixed my sink issue (wood rot) and was thoughtful to maintain the look of the countertop because he heard me say the counter was installed by me and my late father. This team was the second round of helpful maintenance workers that I encountered from Honey Do. A prior service call was a plumbing issue and Mike was super helpful and as thoughtful as well. We ended up using another contractor who had a local flooring showroom with LVP we liked. I had a very great experience using WeHoneyDo to fix a problem with water in our crawl space. The technicians Jake and Logan were very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Instead of just doing a repair to the French Drain, they investigated why and where the water was coming from and found a cracked gutter drain pipe buried in the ground. They repaired the drainage issue outside which solved the issue of the source of the water and also did all the other repairs in the crawl space as planned. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Working with WeHoneyDo has been an absolute nightmare. I had a large portion of a tree fall on my roof a few months ago, and WeHoneyDo was the contractor assigned by insurance. While they were able to get out to clean off the branches that day, getting anything scheduled after was horrible. The problems are listed below: 1. Lance (the sales manager) is the most unresponsive person I've ever worked with. It was nearly impossible to get him to call me back about anything. 2. After weeks of trying to get my roof repair scheduled, we finally got a date on the books. When they "fixed" the roof, they used the wrong colored shingles. My original shingles were just black, and they used a blue-gray that left my roof two blatantly different colors. 3. Nobody took responsibility for the roof being the wrong color, and they acted as though I was overreacting - until I sent them numerous photos showing them how bad it was. Lance tried to convince me that they "had done a good job." After asking the individuals doing the work what had happened, they said that someone had just gone to Home Depot and grabbed whatever they had, and not gone to the roofing store with the sample. 4. Then, they told me to go to the roofing store to pick out the right shingles. I told them no. They finally got the roofer back out to get a sample and the right colored shingles. They did get the roof fixed correctly on the second try, but not without me spending huge amounts of time showing them that it was wrong. 5. It took even more time to get the gutter and fence repair scheduled (from the same tree), with Lance not calling me back about anything. If you want a job done correctly, without going through the infuriating process of getting a contractor to do what they say they're going to do, DO NOT USE WEHONEYDO. read more

Stay away from this company! They failed on all levels and decided to over-charge. Roger was the only decent person there while everyone else was below par, unprofessional, and un-qualified. I decided to use their services because I met Eric Metzger a few years back and wanted to do business with them. Their initial quote was fairly higher than most but again want to do business with them. Below are the myriad of issues 1. Max the service manager - He decided to visit the second day and noted several extra hours needed to be charged. When I asked Roger (a very good drywall guy from their company) he assured me no overage was needed. When I asked Lars, he was confused and eventually said no overage was needed and any overage would first be confirmed and approved by me. 2. Leaky Faucet - The first guy they sent to visit was woefully unqualified and they eventually send another repair person Max 3. Coordinating Carpet Cleaner with Max's visit - Max needed to fix the faucet which required turning all the water off. The carpet cleaner needed the water on. Lars said he would coordinate and it wasnt done! We ended up coordinating for them amongst the parties. They should be paying us! 4. Lack of communication - As mentioned above, Lars mentioned he would confirm with if any overage was needed and also said no extra work would be done without my approval! Low and behold several hours were charged all because Max spent extra time trying to fix our kids bathroom faucet without coordinating with Lars! 5. Kid's bathroom faucet was never fixed - Max said to their corporate coordinator (Lars), the bathroom was fixed. In fact, it wasnt! They probably spend 8 hours trying to fix this thing and charged me overage without approval! 6. Carpet Cleaner missed the appointment - He did have a personal emergency. They sent out a 2nd person but instead of doing the full 8 committed hours, did 5 only 7. Didnt coordinate when to visit. - Roger did a great job but everyone else would arrive un-announced most of the time. Even when I asked Lars to please coordinate with me when people want to arrive When all this was escalated to the owner Eric Metzger, basically he said "too bad", the contract says 10%-20% and this all falls into that. This is the worst experience ever and the lack of professionalism and communication is bewildering. Stay away from these folks if you value your money and want things actually fixed !!! read more

I had a good experience or very small, handyman jobs around the house and they can be good if you have a list of fairly simple things that meet the 3 hour minimum. I will recommend that you do not do business with this company. I called to have 8 light bulbs replaced in a 20+ foot ceiling, repair a leak under a sink, fireplace enclosement repainted, repair the gas regulator on my fireplace, and knocking pipes due to the sprinkler system valves. Ralph confirmed that there is a $300 fee minimum for 3 hours of work and that would be sufficient to finish the requested work order. They replaced the lights, fixed the sink leak and repainted my fireplace enclosement. It cost $384 for parts and labor. They will not fix the gas regulator or the knocking pipes due to the sprinkler valves unless I pay for additional for parts and labor. The labor was confirm during the first call that it would cover all the repairs. This was not true. Ralph had no solution to my fireplace gas valve or knocking pipes issue, but insisted that I pay for the invoice. There was not attempt to resolve the issue. They just wanted to be paid for a half done job. I have not been contacted about any follow up to the repairs that still have not been repaired. This will be escalated to the BBB. If you believe that this is a fair rate for the work completed, hire them to do the job. If you do not believe that this is a legitimate rate, do not hire them for the job. read more

The communication from wehoneydo was absolute garbage and there are a bunch of other negatives that I can call your company out on INCLUDING PICTURES or VIDEOS including your employees coming to the the job site and cleaning/organizing their trucks and NEVER touching my barn roof. Days where the sun was out shinning bright and early but employees decided to show up between noon-1 PM. Cigarette butts left all over my property that I had to clean up. There is still garbage in the neighbors yard, there is still tools here that are not mine, I had to hear constant complaining from YOUR employees about how they hated doing roof work but were forced to be there. I was promised from scott freeman that he would contact me on a weekly basis until the work was done guess what THAT NEVER HAPPENED. If you would like me to stop by and teach people how to be employees and work hard I can absolutely do that. If you want me to stop by to teach you and your employees how treat customers I can absolutely do that too I just don't think you will be able to afford me. As I tell my children I will tell you as well since you want to act like a child. Make sure your shot group is tight before you worry about someone else's shot group. Please do not hire this company, I was completely ripped off. The project was for a shower surround install, shower head raised, and new fixtures. They took three times as long as quoted and still never finished the job! TLDR: Do not trust HoneyDo to bring you competent vendors or give you fair pricing - If you have any trouble with them they will deflect, ignore you and delete any bad reviews you give. --- I hired HoneyDo to contract out HVAC work for a malfunctioning furnace and airflow problem for a single duct. A&M Plumbing and Heating was assigned the work - on their initial assessment they gave me a bid to "repair the distribution plenum and to troubleshoot the furnace" for approximately 1600$. For the troubleshooting, the technician told me the furnace was on an ungrounded circuit and running a new circuit was beyond the scope of work he could do - I had no problem with this assessment and had an electrician come and run a new grounded circuit. (The furnace is still malfunctioning btw, so it was not the ungrounded circuit causing the problem.) My issues that arose from this job were from the "repair" work on the distribution plenum. The work consisted of a 30 to 45 minute session spraying foam around the furnace which resulted in absolutely no additional air flow improvement to my duct that was having issues. I am not an HVAC or furnace specialist, which is why I trusted Honeydo to bring me competent vendors to fix my problems for fair prices, but telling me spraying foam around my furnace is "repairing" my distribution plenum feels VERY misleading, especially when the technician was in and out in under an hour and the work resulting in ZERO additional airflow to my single vent which has the issue. All the other vents were/are working fine, and in retrospect, I should have questioned why work to the main furnace would help airflow to a single vent, but as I said, I thought I could trust these "experts". I went back to Honeydo and told them there is no way the work completed was worth 1600 - After back and forth, they seemingly agreed and reduced the price to 1000. Even then I continued to press on them to have A&M come back and fix my vent airflow or give me a refund. That resulting in them having A&M Plumbing and Heating call and harass me to tell me that it's "not his fault I have a shitty system" and "I'm wasting his time". Worst customer experience I have ever had. After I received that call, I emailed HoneyDo to put me in touch with their owner - I have had zero replies since and I assume they expect me to just drop it and walk away. My fiancé left a bad review and they had it removed, I will keep posting this review to warn others of their terrible pricing and terrible customer service. read more
