We've been shopping around for 4 months to find granite for our new home. We have looked at over 10 stone suppliers across the Dallas area. In the end, we always would come back to MSI off LBJ in Farmer's Branch. Melinda & Evelyn we're extremely patient as we tried to figure out each style for the house. Pricing was inline with 80% of the other stores and they offered a few choices others did not. My only suggestion would be to add some fans in the warehouse. This is a granite/quartz/quartzite wholesaler. You pick what you want, then you have to work through a contractor or installer to actually install the piece or pieces. They work by appointment but our installer called and we went directly without an appointment. There is an elaborate check in process though where you give all you contact info and answer questions about exposure to Covid-19. You get a personal assistant to help you with the slabs. Our, Anna-Marie, was helpful and friendly. Most of their stock is open but some slabs are stored somewhere and it seemed that those were the ones we were interested in so they had to be brought to the front for showing with a crane so that took some time. The process was slow so we were there a long time. We did not know about open showings until we went to other places where you just walk in and all slabs are out and you don't need to wait. Of the three places we visited, this one seemed to have the smallest supply to choose from. The showroom is very attractive and they also sell backsplash so you could, in theory, do one stop shopping. Overall, this place was very popular and it was an enjoyable viewing experience. read more

Lots of quartz options. More than the other two suppliers we visited. The customer service was great. There was a slab we couldn't find and they pulled it for us very quickly. We're noobs and they happily answered all our questions. I appreciated that the slab levels were posted on each slab of quartz so we could get some kind of idea of price ranges. (Some suppliers don't do that.) Also, it helps that they have a good website with good photos too...so we went already knowing which slabs we wanted to start with. read more

We went in to pick out our slab for our countertops that were being installed. When they called me, they told me I could make an apportionment or I could walk in. I saw they were open Saturdays, and I work during the week so that would work best. I hen I walked in today, I had the worst customer service experience. There were about 6 people behind the computers and were so rude from the second I walked in. When I asked a question about my countertop selection, they turned to each other and started speaking Spanish. I also speak Spanish, so I was able to understand the sass and rudeness in their conversation, but to do that to a customer is rude and unprofessional. I am very disappointed with the customer service level provided at this place. read more

This place has an awesome selection! As soon as you walk in the door you sign in your name and information. In the front of the store they have tons of backsplash and tile options. Once a staff member calls your name they take you to the back where they have a bunch of quartz and granite slabs for you to look at. They show you the lay out of everything and then you're left to yourself to check it all out. If you see something you want you let them know and they place the slab on hold for you so no one else will buy it. They have a great selection. I definitely think it's a place to check out if you're doing some remodeling to your house. The staff is friendly and helpful. read more

I really don't understand the positive reviews; this place offers absolutely nothing. They cannot even give you a ballpark price on the material you are looking at. It is categorized by low end or mid- high end; that is it, 2 different classifications. The price range on stone is massive so having no real way of gauging the price makes my trip to the showroom pointless. I have to pick out 5-10 stones then go run them through my fabricator to see if the pricing is even feasible. If you are looking for stone go to IMC or any other granite supplier. They will at least give you a 1-6 rating scale to give you a GENERAL idea of what price point you are looking at so you do not have to waste time playing middle man between the supplier and the fabricator. MSI was hands down the worst supplier I visited in my weekend tour of the Dallas stone yards. read more

Loved the courtesy and friendliness off the staff. My show room consultant was Corey Williamson. Really knowledgeable about the products and was really patient and had a sense of humor. He also wore a face mask during the tour the entire time. I really appreciated that since Covid is a big pandemic. The rudist front desk I have ever encountered. The lady refused to allow us to see the product slab that Texas Granite sent us to see. We ended up leaving without seeing a single granite or quartz product. Unbelievable! We went to Arizona Tile after that experience, where they were extremely nice and helpful. I visited this place twice hoping maybe the first time was a "bad day".. wrong! The second time proved to be true. Very unwelcoming and the overall "vibe" makes you want to leave immediately. Everyone seems like they are so miserable to be working there. I have had better service ordering a burger & fries. The owner should be ashamed of the unfriendly staff and lack of attempt to provide customer service. We drove 2.5 hours there and were ready to spend over 20,000 dollars on materials and no one smiled, asked what projects we had going on, or even asked us our names. Hiding behind a COVID mask doesn't excuse poor service. The stone collection in Dallas and Pacific shore stones in Little Rock is night and day customer service. If you're like me you want to give your business to people who genuinely care to help you and are at least friendly don't visit MSI. read more
