I know they open at 11am so I timed it with my errands so that I'd be swinging through around 1130am to grab the food. Run my errands and stop at Hen Solo on the way home only to come to a flashing "open" sign but the doors are locked and the restaurant is dark. I wait for a few minutes and finally see an employee come in the back door, and she comes out front. I told her I had a pickup order but since she literally just got there, I assume it wasn't ready and wouldn't be anytime soon. She asked if I could give her 20-30 minutes and I said no, I cannot - I timed it this way so that I could grab the food on my way back to work. I told her my name and order number, and asked her to cancel the order - which she said she would. Never did. Had to file a charge back on my credit card to get the money back. Them not opening on time has happened to me before but it was back when they first opened so I chalked it up to the fact that they were a brand new establishment. You guys have been open long enough to be able to open on time. If you're not going to, then you should turn off online ordering until someone is physically in the shop.

Even the most humblest of a Philly Cheesesteak could be awarded such an award. There is nothing bougie/pretentious/overpriced about this establishment, it's staff and/or it's food. I sat there a couple bites in pondering what else I should try next time on my visit. I had the Philly Cheeseteak with sweet peppers with white American on a seeded roll. I had a philly cheese steak at a separate location prior to here, and although it was great, Dalessandros had the right balance of meat to bread to dollar ratio. I was full but content. But when it comes down to both deli counter and beer selection, the Roxborough location might just be my favorite, and not just because it also let me scoop out some popcorn to go during non-Covid-19 times. Even in the slightly larger NoLibs location, past Foodery locations have boldly crammed specialty groceries, a deli counter, and fridges stocked with ALL THE BEERS into some seriously crammed situations. But that isn't a problem in this one which is by far the largest I've seen (without setting foot in the Phoenixville one yet). Because of that everything is placed in areas that make sense while also tossing in things like a section for large bottles, ALL THE SNACKS, and an impressive growler fill station. My favorite sandwich is definitely the Diablo with its buffalo chicken, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and chipotle mayo that delivers a spicy kick that doesn't border on overkill. But I've also enjoyed the Hot Toastee with its tavern ham, swiss cheese, honey mustard, apple, and pecans on a toasted sourdough.
