Mt. Airy Coffee Company is always a joy to visit. They have a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries to delicious drinks! The owner Chris, is super nice too, and very welcoming. There is a good amount of seating and it's the perfect spot to do some work, or meet up with a friend! I Highly recommend!

Quant little shop in the heart of Mt. Airy on Mt. Pleasant Ave. Quiet clientele and charmingly decorated like a living room. A great place to spend a few hours on a rainy day.

This was my first time here, and I will definitely be returning soon! The service was great - kind and friendly, and the place is very clean and a great vibe for meeting a friend for coffee or for working. The outside seating was a nice option as well. I am excited to go back and try other menu items as the beignet and iced chai tea latte were great.

I know they open at 11am so I timed it with my errands so that I'd be swinging through around 1130am to grab the food. Run my errands and stop at Hen Solo on the way home only to come to a flashing "open" sign but the doors are locked and the restaurant is dark. I wait for a few minutes and finally see an employee come in the back door, and she comes out front. I told her I had a pickup order but since she literally just got there, I assume it wasn't ready and wouldn't be anytime soon. She asked if I could give her 20-30 minutes and I said no, I cannot - I timed it this way so that I could grab the food on my way back to work. I told her my name and order number, and asked her to cancel the order - which she said she would. Never did. Had to file a charge back on my credit card to get the money back. Them not opening on time has happened to me before but it was back when they first opened so I chalked it up to the fact that they were a brand new establishment. You guys have been open long enough to be able to open on time. If you're not going to, then you should turn off online ordering until someone is physically in the shop.

I've dined at a place back home and although it tasted pretty good it fell into the latter of these statements above. Dalessandro's , though, changed my mind. Even the most humblest of a Philly Cheesesteak could be awarded such an award. There is nothing bougie/pretentious/overpriced about this establishment, it's staff and/or it's food. I sat there a couple bites in pondering what else I should try next time on my visit. I had the Philly Cheeseteak with sweet peppers with white American on a seeded roll. I had a philly cheese steak at a separate location prior to here, and although it was great, Dalessandros had the right balance of meat to bread to dollar ratio. I was full but content. Not sure the cheesesteak is the *best* I've ever had but still very yummy! DO NOT SLEEP ON THE HOAGIES! They are INSANE! The Old School Italian is freaking MASSIVE with good quality meats and man do I love their chunky pickles! That's gotta be my favorite thing I've gotten from there, and I've gotten it several times. The upcharge is steep (~$4-5 Nov 2025), but the hoagie length is like the size of a forearm! What's better is that they also stuff the sandwiches to the brim, where the filling starts to spill out. The food is delicious. And most of the menu hits when you're craving greasy quick and filling food. Service is quick and timely. Ordering online is nice to build loyalty points and easy to customize orders. But the online fees - credit card & website charge, even when it's directly from their website, are high. The shop is on the corner of a street in Manayunk, so parking can be difficult or expensive. There is very limited seating. But in its multiple locations its definitely evolved from the tiny corner store that's a beer and sandwich haven, to several places that deliver the same in a much larger package. But when it comes down to both deli counter and beer selection, the Roxborough location might just be my favorite, and not just because it also let me scoop out some popcorn to go during non-Covid-19 times. Even in the slightly larger NoLibs location, past Foodery locations have boldly crammed specialty groceries, a deli counter, and fridges stocked with ALL THE BEERS into some seriously crammed situations. But that isn't a problem in this one which is by far the largest I've seen (without setting foot in the Phoenixville one yet). Because of that everything is placed in areas that make sense while also tossing in things like a section for large bottles, ALL THE SNACKS, and an impressive growler fill station. My favorite sandwich is definitely the Diablo with its buffalo chicken, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and chipotle mayo that delivers a spicy kick that doesn't border on overkill. But I've also enjoyed the Hot Toastee with its tavern ham, swiss cheese, honey mustard, apple, and pecans on a toasted sourdough. The main event by far is the epic beer coolers, and whether you're looking for hard to find imports, well-liked local brews, noteworthy seasonal brews, ciders and seltzers, hoppy beers, chocolate stouts, or other, you're bound to find it!

Even the two servers were like "I'm gonna order that for lunch." The fried goat cheese balls were perfect! I wish a couple more were included in the salad but it included five. The grilled cheese had a mix of variety cheeses, including farmers and a couple more that I cannot name. There was also a bit of arugula in the sandwich, which was a very nice refreshing crunch. The bread soaked up the soup nicely upon dunking, and the bite was perfect. The vegan tomato bisque was hard to believe was vegan! My Cajun Shrimp Salad had mixed greens, tomato, avocado, roasted corn, pickled jalapeno. The tasty orange chili vinaigrette was perfect. A really tasty combo. Five shrimp, not huge but two bites if you cut them. Plentiful toppings, it was just what I needed. Husband ordered a Couch Club, with the avocado on the side (more for me). He didn't order a separate side dish, so it was just a panini on a plate, unadorned. Tasty enough but probably should have had one of their many soups as well to round out the meal. Next time! I bookmarked this place intending to come back, but in a week in Manayunk we barely scratched the surface of all the culinary delights and didn't repeat. I love the way their menu clearly delineates gluten free items and those for which there is no gluten-free option.
