Sauces that you can add to your drinks

Mt. Airy Coffee Company is always a joy to visit. They have a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries to delicious drinks! The owner Chris, is super nice too, and very welcoming. There is a good amount of seating and it's the perfect spot to do some work, or meet up with a friend! I Highly recommend!

Quant little shop in the heart of Mt. Airy on Mt. Pleasant Ave. Quiet clientele and charmingly decorated like a living room. A great place to spend a few hours on a rainy day.

This was my first time here, and I will definitely be returning soon! The service was great - kind and friendly, and the place is very clean and a great vibe for meeting a friend for coffee or for working. The outside seating was a nice option as well. I am excited to go back and try other menu items as the beignet and iced chai tea latte were great.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. The coffee is Ultimo - so it's top quality. Staff is friendly and the space is thoughtfully decorated. A peaceful place to hangout and think while you stare out the giant windows. Try the veggie bagel sandwich- it is a meal!

Staff was pleasant but coffee and sandwiches were really disappointing. We also didn't receive the pastry we ordered with our To Go Food.

My favorite beef steak sandwich in philly!!!…read more I eat gluten friendly and lactose free when I can and boy was I excited when I learned they had a gluten free bun for their hoagies! The upcharge is steep (~$4-5 Nov 2025), but the hoagie length is like the size of a forearm! What's better is that they also stuff the sandwiches to the brim, where the filling starts to spill out. The food is delicious. And most of the menu hits when you're craving greasy quick and filling food. Service is quick and timely. Ordering online is nice to build loyalty points and easy to customize orders. But the online fees - credit card & website charge, even when it's directly from their website, are high. The shop is on the corner of a street in Manayunk, so parking can be difficult or expensive. There is very limited seating. A few high tables along the window and high top chairs, nothing too comfortable. Carry out or takeout is recommended. I'll still come back, esp for their gluten friendly hoagie bun!! Love that they have a variety of pizzas by the slice in person - very generous portions and priced right too! I've ordered both cheesesteaks and hoagies for delivery and they've been great! Not sure the cheesesteak is the *best* I've ever had but still very yummy! DO NOT SLEEP ON THE HOAGIES! They are INSANE! The Old School Italian is freaking MASSIVE with good quality meats and man do I love their chunky pickles! That's gotta be my favorite thing I've gotten from there, and I've gotten it several times. Need to try more things off their menu lol. Their GrubHub ordering has been screwed up from the start, I actually messaged them about it and they attempted to fix it but it's still a mess. Ordering directly from their website is easy but they charge a $6(!) delivery fee which seems excessive. Def happy to have this spot in Manayunk!

More importantly, their wide selection of beers has not been impacted by any supply chain issues. As such, its hard not to like The Foodery! If you are looking for a beer, they probably have it. You can shop by region or by type. You can buy by the single beer or cases in some cases (no punt intended). Grab a 6 pack to get a nice little discount. Enjoy there with friends or bring home.

But in its multiple locations its definitely evolved from the tiny corner store that's a beer and sandwich haven, to several places that deliver the same in a much larger package. But when it comes down to both deli counter and beer selection, the Roxborough location might just be my favorite, and not just because it also let me scoop out some popcorn to go during non-Covid-19 times. Even in the slightly larger NoLibs location, past Foodery locations have boldly crammed specialty groceries, a deli counter, and fridges stocked with ALL THE BEERS into some seriously crammed situations. But that isn't a problem in this one which is by far the largest I've seen (without setting foot in the Phoenixville one yet). Because of that everything is placed in areas that make sense while also tossing in things like a section for large bottles, ALL THE SNACKS, and an impressive growler fill station. My favorite sandwich is definitely the Diablo with its buffalo chicken, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and chipotle mayo that delivers a spicy kick that doesn't border on overkill. But I've also enjoyed the Hot Toastee with its tavern ham, swiss cheese, honey mustard, apple, and pecans on a toasted sourdough. The main event by far is the epic beer coolers, and whether you're looking for hard to find imports, well-liked local brews, noteworthy seasonal brews, ciders and seltzers, hoppy beers, chocolate stouts, or other, you're bound to find it!

Quality sandwiches - no fuss no frill but good solid food. I tried the Casanova a perfectly pounded crispy cutlet with fresh motz, tomato, pesto and balsamic drizzle. He chose the McCartney a breakfast sandwich with layers of pork roll egg and cheese - not just slapped on a bun. Seasoned eggs layered with meat egg and cheese. Order at the counter and if you choose to eat in one of the smiling staff will bring it to you when ready. They have a few booths for you to sit and eat as well as colorful tables outside too, but I get the idea this is more of a grab and go joint. Decorated in retro grunge decor complete with a stack of old console televisions and orange booth seats the place has a whole vibe. They also have an assortment of items for purchase like handmade soaps and beauty concoctions, stickers, hot sauces, honeys, teas and the like. There are plenty of other sandwiches we want to try so we will be back for sure several times over the summer to devour them all. Check it out.

The woman cashier was very sweet and brought my order to me when it was ready. It ended up being a delicious sandwich but I made the mistake of assuming it would have anything more than just bacon egg and cheese on it. Next time I would buy one of the packets of Hot Honey that they sell or add fried onions to spruce it up a bit. I had a great experience and would go back though.

I altered my salad to fit my dietary needs and substituted strawberries and sliced almonds for the bacon and candied pecans. Absolute best salad I've ever had in my entire life! Even the two servers were like "I'm gonna order that for lunch." The fried goat cheese balls were perfect! I wish a couple more were included in the salad but it included five. The grilled cheese had a mix of variety cheeses, including farmers and a couple more that I cannot name. There was also a bit of arugula in the sandwich, which was a very nice refreshing crunch. The bread soaked up the soup nicely upon dunking, and the bite was perfect. The vegan tomato bisque was hard to believe was vegan! My lovely server brought out a sample of it before anything else, and it was absolutely delicious! I was not able to finish everything in one sitting but left this place feeling very satisfied and happy. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The ambiance inside was lovely, with natural sunlight coming in through the windows in the upstairs dining area, and the tables had little tomatoes engraved in the corner. Loved all the tomato decor in the place, very adorable. Parking outside was ok. I think I got lucky a couple blocks away because I came for lunch. A little sunny corner restie that is like a little love note to all things Philly sports plus a cool little open kitchen and grab and go section on the side with fridges filled with interesting drinks and homemade salads like a pesto chickpea one that Imma def pick up the next stop I drop in. Ok, onto the eats! 1. Della Casa ($18): A 12-inch soft seeded sando layered with a schmear of balsamic sundried pepper spread, fresh mozz, and hot cappicola dried with Calabrian chili oil and filled with fresh arugula and house roasted eggplant slices. This was good, however, the eggplant felt kind out of place. The slices were large and a little bit too mushy for my liking and it felt like it could have benefitted from an extra meat or contrast to the softness from the mozz, such as fried eggplant instead. All in all a 7 out of 10. Good but wouldn't order again. 2. Turkey Salumeria ($18.50): Another (delicious) 12-inch soft seeded roll saturated with a house creamy balsamic dressing (could have honestly drank this) + mild prov, LTO, sliced turkey and really great cherry pepper relish. This was a pretty basic, but all the parts came together to make a solid sandwich. I wouldn't necessarily order again but the combination of ingredients and the hellish relish made it a 7.5 out of 10. All in all, the quality of the ingredients, the combinations available on the menu and the stellar staff all make LK popular for good reason. While the selections we had this go around didn't wow us (just lacking a certain je ne sais quoi) I do look forward to going back to try the kale chx caesar, some of their cutlet sandos, roast beef and pork and of course the tomato pie and CCC's!
