Visited with a small group this morning. We caught them right after opening, but they were quick to serve. This place is pretty eclectic in design, but has decent seating, and decent wi-fi. Ordered a drip and a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese. Delicious! Love places where I can get it on a Philly muffin. Overall it's kind of dim inside, so I'd prefer other places for lingering or working. I have visited in the past when the outdoor seating is actually usable, so I'd love to come back then and enjoy the outdoors. read more

I've tried most of the cafes across the city (and that's a lot!) but Knockbox's staff and cold brew are some of my favorite so far. It's rich, velvety, not too acidic or gritty with chocolaty notes in the roast. Really lovely spot and super chill. I always feel super welcomed and the vibes are really comfy for working for a bit while you drink and eat. Not a lot of seating so I try and leave as soon as I finish or I pick up more to drink if I want to stay longer. read more

The inside of the store itself is pretty small, though there is some seating available. There also was some chairs and tables outside, which would be great to sit at and enjoy your coffee on a warm day. The menu is pretty extensive, and there are a lot of different options for food, drinks, and syrups. I got an iced latte with lavender syrup (their ice drinks come in a 20oz cup), and I enjoyed it. I love this little spot on the edge of university city! It's quite small but it's got that West Philly hipster vibe and they have all the espresso drinks you could ever need. Knockbox is a cute little cafe tucked into a neighborhood area in West Philly. There's some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating. I love the patio set up and it'll be nice to sit there once the weather warms up a bit. I got an iced hazelnut latte and enjoyed it. I like how it wasn't overly sweet and could really taste the espresso still. It was a pretty standard latte and didn't really stand out to me. I think they also have some more inventive or seasonal flavors too for their coffee. So I'm looking forward to trying more from Knockbox! read more

Visited Philly recently and found this quaint cafe nearby where I was staying. Get their Philly muffin, it was delicious! If bagel and bread had a baby it would be this. They give a generous amount of cream cheese and all the ingredients were fresh. Indoor seating is limited but this place is perfect if you're looking for coffee and a quick bite. read more

I think I was moreso expecting the saltiness of an everything bagel, and that's why I was a little let down. Still good, but not necessarily what I was expecting. Overall the inside is super cute, they have a nice outdoor seating space, and they have a decent list of coffee offerings, and more than two sizes for drinks. Knockbox is a go-to coffee shop in the West Philly area! Got an iced mocha w/ oat milk and nothing else. Tasted great. Reminded me a lot of Elixr's coffee and mocha style, perfectly creamy and the chocolate wasn't too strong/sweet. Could still taste the espresso and complemented the drink well overall. Was also able to try their (lox) sandwich. It tasted great, but it was a bit pricey. Also they charge for every single topping (tomato, cucumber, etc.) and we were not made aware of this because we thought it came with the sandwich (it doesn't)! Overall great coffee, good food. Wish the study space was more well-organized-- you literally have to bump around and move tables just to sit down because the shop is so small and the tables are touching each other. The wait can also get up to 30 minutes when there's only two people working and a line. Come when it's not busy and you can find a great study space and great cafe vibes. read more

Such a cute little neighborhood cafe. I love how they have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. They have free wifi and you can also pay to print stuff out if you don't have a printer at home. The baristas are very friendly. I've had baked goods, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, empanadas and ice cream here but my favorite menu item will forever be their lox bagels! Sooo yum. Much more affordable compared to their competition on 45th and Baltimore. The only sorta negative thing is have to say is that it's a bit of a drag when it's super cold or hot out, and the lines are a bit long so you're just standing out there waiting. So that's just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. However, I'm a returning customer and would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone who wants a quick bite, or perhaps a different scene to wfh in :) read more

They had a pretty extensive drink menu and also served a decent variety of breakfast sandwiches on their signature Philly muffin. I ordered their standard breakfast sandwich on a plain Philly muffin and it came with egg, turkey sausage, and fresh veggies. It was delicious! The London fog with almond milk was also delicious and a great accompaniment to my breakfast sandwich. I particularly enjoyed their outdoor raised patio area with seating. There is pretty limited seating inside the cafe and outside the cafe, so just something to think about if you go during peak hours or with a large group. Not totally sure if this coffee deserves to be on the market. That may sound harsh, but though my latte was decent, it was on the pricey side. I love supporting local, but this place seemed to need more support than I could give. The name online was different than the store sign and the coffee sleeves. Not sure what was going on there, but it made it confusing to find the place. That being said, I liked their seating area and they seemed to have a good variety of baked goods (a touch more expensive than I'd like) and their interior was cute.
