I recently hired MT Evictions- my experience was painful - I made an appointment and was told it would cost me $35.00 if I stayed longer than 15 minutes- I spoke with Paulina and decided it was a good idea to hire them as she sounded like she knew what she was talking about. The first process for me after paying the initial $350.00 was the consultation, typing up a "3 day notice to quit" and giving it to me to serve, no one took a look at my documents at this point. Needless to say the tenants ignored the notice. Do to this frustrating situation, I approved MT Evictions to move forward with my case. After I paid an additional $450.00 I was told I had made some errors on my "raise of rent letters" and that they did not recommend moving forward with the eviction. I immediately asked for a refund and was told " we have a no refund policy" - I argued my case and indeed refunded my money do to "no services rendered". I find it frustrating that MT Eviction did not review my case prior to charging my credit card the second time. I needed to write this so that other landlords are sure that after you pay the $350.00 your case is evaluated, and not after. We as landlords lose money due to unconscionable tenants it would be better if MT Evictions would have been better at supporting this situation instead of just going through the motions- for this reason i give them a Meh review. read more

Reading the reviews I was hoping a good out come, however my experience is not as positive. Lawyer made an agreement without discussing it with the homeowner made our situation very upsetting. Yes, the home owner should have read and asked questions before signing, however after commenting with the lawyer what he wanted the outcome to be, he put his trust in the lawyer to get such outcome or discuss his options. Later to receive paper work that was not explained in lamina terms, which was requested. Now another lawsuit ( plus more $$) with the same tenants? Just frustrating. L Response & Update. Correction we have retained another lawyer to represent us and to correct the errors that was done by MT EVICTIONS *yes, you were not hired from the start, would have the outcome Been better if we did? Or was that the reason why so many mistakes were made? *We hired MT EVICTIONS, when we found out that the tenants were makes false Allegations. *I did make appointments to speak with the lawyer, the first time I spoke with someone in the office ( not a lawyer) and 2nd no one called for the phone appointment. *MT EVICTIONS Lawyer did settle, my complain was he settled on terms NOT agreed by the homeowner. The lawsuit was settled with the stipulation that the tenants can and will file a civil law suit. Which at not time was agreed by the homeowner. *Landlord paid for a trail, we thought it was going to trail since the tenants lawyer were asking for an outrageous amount of money and no being "reasonable" *we did not "save" any monies. Since now we have to request to reopen the case to correct the errors... if anything we are now paying DOUBLE. 6.11.18 Update* since MT didn't include the part that the tenants can't come after us after the eviction ... guess what now the evicted tenants are suing us after the eviction, we are still paying and going thru the lawsuit. Of course after requesting to reopen was denied. More money!! read more

After coming off a horrible, and I mean horrible experience with an eviction attorney that wasted my time and money (you can read about that experience here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/constant-mark-law-office-glendale ) I desperately needed to find an attorney or service that would help me get rid of a holdover tenant (father who passed away in 2015) that refused to pay rent or leave the home willingly. I came across MT Evictions while doing a google search, after reading the reviews I had to place my faith in a group to execute this unlawful detainer notice, Martha walked me through the complete process from A-Z, she informed me that we need to serve the tenant with a 3-day pay rent or quit, a 60 day notice to vacate the promises as well as something that both of my male probate attorneys missed, the tenant never received a notice of new management/ownership/estate executorship, this is HUGE!!! the tenant could have sued me for not serving him the proper notices, these girls caught it in time!!! we served the tenant on a Thursday by way of process server (highly recommended!) and the tenant vacated the premises by the following Sunday, it only took 3 days time when the tenant could have legally stayed in my home for another 60 days!
