I was told they weren't able to do the cancelation on their end and to contact my bank. I returned the next morning, spoke with the manager, and was assured she'd "try everything" to stop the order -- yet no cancellation was processed, and the glasses were still made. I was never notified they were ready and later found out the store misrepresented the situation to my bank stating I never expressed any concerns to them. When I returned a month later I raised my concerns again, I was told they'd just tell the bank I "refused" the glasses. Truly the worst experience I've ever had at an optical. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I went to Dr. Rubinfeld earlier this year to get a basic exam and talk to him about some general concerns I had based family history, not anything I suffered from myself. After doing the basic exams, I noticed Dr. Rubinfeld conducted other exams I don't normally associate with an annual eye exam, testing spacial awareness, tear production in the eyelid, among others. I had no issue with this and chocked it up to him being thorough. Dr. Rubinfeld felt like it was necessary to start me on an eye treatment to get rid of "eyelash mites" and remoisten my eyes, which he said were exceptionally dry. I asked him if this was necessary seeing as I have no issues at all with my eyes. He said yes because things can get worse. I went into the office about 8 times for warm / cool light and steam treatment, and I observed no difference. I asked the receptionists and the eye assistants how long I would need to do the treatments since I didn't feel like they were necessary for me. They said the treatments were normally 2 MONTHS! Once they told me this, I decided to stop going. Today however, I LOGGED INTO MY INSURANCE AND SAW THERE ARE CLAIMS TOTALING ALMOST $20,000 FROM DR. RUBINFELD'S OFFICE! This was from all of the eye treatments he was giving me. Granted, I don't have to pay for this, but I do believe they tried to suck as much as they could from my insurance in as short of a time as possible. This is absolutely WRONG. And this is the main reason why I have to give them a 1 star rating. Again, I do appreciate the fact that the staff were kind and courteous to me, I don't appreciate being taken advantage of because of my ignorance in optometry.
