The units are well cared for and the grounds are just lovely. Management is very warm, kind, helpful and professional. You've never had a long kinder maintenance team and super fast work. Very safe complex and wealthy neighborhood. Cons: The routine upkeep of the grounds is very noisy on Mondays, which can be hard if you work from home and can be in conference call meetings (my situation). Additionally it's very hilly and taking my dog poop in the dead of winter May be a more intense work out then expected. I've lost weight doing it, can't complain too much.

After a year of living here the leasing office emailed and asked if I wanted to renew my lease I let them know I did and then they didn't respond but switched me to month to month payments which is way more expensive than a yearly lease. They dodged my attempts to contact them or would restart the lease renewal process once we decided on a start date by waiting until after that date to respond to me. This went on for 2 or 3 months- yes months, all while paying far more than what I should have. When we finally got my lease situated they made an error on the rent amount that left it significantly lower than normal and I assumed it was prorated for the extra money I spent on rent while waiting for them to fix my lease but after a couple months I had some concerns so I called the office and expressed those concerns with an account specialist who told me the charges were correct and I have no outstanding balances. Fast forward to a year later they tell me the charges were not correct and I owe them $22,000. The manager even tried blaming me by saying surely I should have noticed rent was much cheaper... like that's why I called and asked EIGHT MONTHS AGO yet there's ZERO accountability on their end for putting me in this situation in the first place. I tried requesting their recording of the phone call I had with the account specialist but no surprise they couldn't find it. Now I've been trying to reach them to discuss payments plans for about 3 weeks now and the leasing office finally reached out but could only tell me they'd try to get in contact with corporate from their end. So save yourself the hassle and stress and find somewhere better to live. Their negligence just locked in double rent for me for the next year, don't let this be you.

I spelled my name for her "Kimberlynn" and she didn't get it correct so I said "it's spelled the normal way for Kimberly with two N's at the end" and she snapped saying that Kimberly with an E (Kimberley) is the only way she knows how to spell it. Lol I'm pretty sure Kimberly is more common than Kimberley, but no need to snap about it. I say that to everyone who can't spell my name and no one has ever responded like this. I then asked her which direction the unit available is facing and she said she doesn't know but it's facing boones ferry rd.... Aren't leasing agents supposed to know which way the unit is facing? I've looked at over 10 complexes this week and Sofi was the only one that couldn't tell me. I'm not from here and don't even know where boones ferry is. I had to open my map and zoom all the way in to get an idea. After a while of me trying to figure it out myself she then told me it's facing south, but it's actually facing east which is a really big difference in amount of sunlight that hits the unit. I drove to the unit and used a compass app. She told me she would send more information the next day via email because she was already off of work. I never received that email. I drove around the complex and only seen one visitor parking. Parking is also VERY scarce. She even told me that over the phone, but in person it's a lot worse. I don't see enough parking to cover 2 people per household, so if you're a couple, family, or have visitors over good luck. I won't be applying here due to the unwillingness to be helpful from the front desk and the parking situation. Sounds like issues in the future if I were to move here.

Once you become a tenant, they are your singular point of contact, and ultimately shape how you feel about the place you call home. No matter where I have lived, I have respected and appreciated Maintenance, but I have to say the Maintenance here is exceptional. Jason seems to know the issues he encounters as if he has encountered them a thousand times before, has the most pleasant of personalities, and most of all, he is conscientious. He seems to legitimately want to do the best job he can both for the owners and tenants alike and he accomplishes that goal. We recently had a lengthy ice/snowstorm, and while everywhere I have rented has distributed salt/de-icer, I watched Jason meticulously make sure the salt made it up every step to every single door. A task that certainly took significant time and energy, but no doubt saved us all. I have also had him in my home on several occasions to rectify some failures from the previous owner that were done precisely and to the highest standard. Something I truly appreciate. I also honestly enjoy his presence in my home, something that I can rarely say I have thought of with other Maintenance. I do hope Jason is appreciated because he is truly a gem.

Solid walls - very rarely if ever do I hear my neighbors and if I do it's because they have friends over and they are laughing or talking loudly. I love the layout/design of the apartment. The front end of my apartment does look out onto the parking area and the backend of the apartment looks out over a forested green space (privacy and beauty) that separates us from another apartment community. I have seen geese, raccoons, deer, birds, and cats -not sure if they are feral or family to the other community. Finally a place that feels like an actual home. Gas fireplace is rad. The management offers help during summer to add/plexiglass in an A/C unit an will help take it out when the season is over. Well maintained property - always looks great and the holidays brings festive decoration with lights and such. And now that it's heading into summer there are hanging flower baskets throughout the property and the pool area looks fantastic. Trash areas do get overfilled at times but at least they are in their own covered building and there is trash, recycle, glass bins, cardboard bins. I do see the staff try hard to keep this clean and orderly. Awesome workout facility, beautiful pool area, and a small outside bench area near one of the parking areas where you can sit under a tree and eat or read. And best of all, it is Furry Family Friendly. Animals are welcome and many folks are out walking dogs and always clean up after themselves. Parking - I do not pay for a designated parking spot and don't have any issues finding something close to my place. You can always pay 25 for a spot or rent a garage unit. Only negative experience really was a partying neighbor during quiet time hours who was gracious about shutting down the noise after I said something. Touch Wood, it all stays this way because I absolutely love it here. I have a yelp review on my former apartment place where I was miserable. Nothing redeeming. This place is a total blessing. The staff are always helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. And whether hired or permanent staff, the grounds and maintenance people are always working hard. Much appreciated!!

WARNING: Before you sign a lease, think twice…read more In my experience, the owners are extremely unwilling to spend money to properly take care of their residents, and the management turnover has felt like a revolving door. Unfortunately, when serious problems come up, it seems like the residents are the ones left dealing with the consequences. We pay top dollar for a three-bedroom apartment, likely among the highest rents in the entire complex, and the way management has handled a major plumbing and remediation issue has been incredibly disappointing. This is especially frustrating because last year we already had to deal with a separate mold/moisture problem involving the ceiling and roof throughout our entire apartment. After going through that, finding ourselves dealing with another significant moisture and mold-related issue has been extremely frustrating. A plumbing problem that was not our fault resulted in water damage and visible mold in our kitchen. Management never told us what type of mold was found or whether it was ever tested or identified. What was particularly concerning was that some of the workers who came in to clean and remediate the affected area were wearing masks and full protective suits. We were left wondering what exactly they were dealing with and why no one was willing to explain it to us. We are now living through remediation with our entire kitchen completely inaccessible for "at least a week." A large drying heater/fan has been running continuously, 24/7, creating constant noise, heat and discomfort while using OUR electricity. Our kitchen is sealed off in plastic, there are strong chemical odors from the treatment, and we have no kitchen sink or dishwasher. When we asked about temporarily staying somewhere else during the remediation, management refused to provide a hotel or Airbnb and instead told us to file a claim with our own renters insurance. I am not willing to pay a deductible or potentially affect my insurance costs or claims history for damage and remediation that we did not cause. The alternatives offered were a refrigerator, microwave and hot plate to set up in our living/dining area, along with paper plates and plastic utensils. I have a nicely furnished home, and I am certainly not going to put a hot plate on my wood dining table. But what really makes no sense is that if we were to cook on the hot plate, we would have no kitchen sink to wash the dishes in. I can only assume we were expected to wash those dishes in our bathtub. A hot plate, microwave, paper plates and plastic utensils are simply not a substitute for having a functioning kitchen. We are also dealing with the noise, dust, heat, odors, inconvenience and disruption of having remediation and construction happening in our home. I work from home, which makes the constant noise particularly difficult, and my kids will soon be starting their online college courses from home as well. What has been most frustrating is the lack of empathy and transparency from management and the owners, particularly when it comes to discussing compensation for the loss of our kitchen and the significant disruption to our home. Instead of simply recognizing the impact this has had on our family, it has felt like we are having to negotiate over every small accommodation as though we somehow caused the problem. I understand that unexpected repairs happen. What matters is how a property takes care of its residents when they do. In this case, we have felt like the burden has been placed almost entirely on us. We pay top dollar to live here, and we expected much better consideration and support during a situation that was entirely outside of our control.

They didn't let me tour my unit before I moved in saying it wasn't ready, then when I did move in there were so so many things broken already and the place had a weird smell. By poorly designed I mean I have to turn my plates to the side in order to fit them in my kitchen cabinet, or there's a huge pillar right in front of the door when you walk in which makes moving furniture in very complicated, or there's no overhead lights anywhere besides the kitchen and bathroom. Staff and maintenance take at least 2 weeks to get back to you, which can mean no working light in your bathroom or not being able to use your dishwasher for 2 weeks. There's also MOLD in the unit in multiple spots and they came to inspect it multiple times and each time they just cleaned it with bleach, covered it with more paint, and would blame me and say I need to open my window more often (which I open it every night). Also parking, including visitor parking, absolutely sucks and there's not enough, and you can get towed even for back-in parking. Plus, hella ants and spiders. The only good thing about this place is that it's pet friendly.

They must have an ant infestation or something going on in the walls but definitely should have been mentioned prior to us moving in because we would've gone elsewhere, to top everything off this apartment complex has COCKROACHES which I found out by turning on the closet light and theres a roach in the light. Our dishwasher and washing machine gave off a horrible smell the first few weeks of us moving in and there's mold around the light fixtures and wouldn't be surprised if there's mold elsewhere. This place is NOT well maintained and honestly needs to be shut down it's disgusting and we will moving out as soon as our lease is up and make sure to spread the word publicly that this complex is disgusting and to not move in here.
