The hot springs were great, but the room that we rented was not set up as we would've expected…read more We did notify the front desk , but they stated that they didn't have anything to help us. Our patio had no screen door and we asked if we could have one installed. We were told that they didn't have one. We also had no cushions on our patio furniture. So instead of sitting on hard metal frames we grabbed our pillows from our bed to sit on. Kind of tacky for what we paid for the place. Besides our poorly prepared room the hot springs were nice. I will say that the front desk comped us 10% off of our bill.

On the afternoon of our second day we arrived back to our room to find the room unlocked…read more Housekeeping had left the door unlocked! I called down to the front desk, and the person there was obviously unsettled by that. She offered to tell housekeeping, but never offered an apology. The next day we left out the sign on the room door asking for "stay over service". We arrived back to find the room had not been refreshed. I called down and the person once again offered to tell housekeeping. I'm sorry, but if you call yourself a "resort" and charge nearly $300 per night, you darn well better provide exceptional service! Spend your dollars elsewhere and enjoy the hot springs at another location. We'll be checking out in the morning, and never check back in again! Can I rate zero stars?!?

We stayed here over the weekend and it was just the perfect place. Our cabin was warm and cozy…read morewhile it rained outside. There's no signals in the mountains so don't expect to post on social media. But the main office does provide free WiFi. Overall a great place for friends and families to spend quality time.

We LOVE Cutty's. My friends and I joke that it's kind of like the summer camp from Dirty Dancing,…read morejust missing Patrick Swayze. They have cabins, RV spots, and tent spots, so they're perfect for whatever type of camping you're looking to do. For amenities, they have indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf, a small playground, an arcade, laundry room, weekend meals, weekend outdoor movies, a rec center, tennis and basketball courts, shuttleboard, and a general store. They're pretty close to Salida as well, so you can go spend a day by the river and grab some pizza and ice cream (see my other reviews for hints). Cutty's cabins are amazing, I highly recommend them. They're a little pricey, but they have bathrooms and kitchens in them, plus awesome little back decks that overlook the creek. Weekends at Cutty's are amazing. Breakfast and dinner at Joe's make for easy packing, and movies with popcorn and candy sold nearby at night are a great way to end the day. My kids' favorite is to go mini-golfing and then grab some ice cream from the general store afterward. It's a summer tradition for us!
