Their specialty is flavored cheeses with condiments included in the cheese. While I am a bit of a purist, I find it a good choice for them to have created a niche for themselves so that they can stay ahead of the curve. They have, however, created a reserve cheddar that is quite nice that we got to try. Hopefully we will be able to get the Eagle Cave reserve soon in the PNW. This creamery is also a carbon creditor through its use of woodchips to create steam to heat the pasteurizer. Or somthing like that. All I know is they are very environmentally concious so good on them!

I love this store so darn much! They have such a fantastic selection of items from groceries to…read moregifts and housewares to hardware--virtually something for everyone. The folks that work here are super friendly, and the store is always clean and well organized. And fair warning - if you visit in the morning as they are baking donuts and breads, you could gain weight just from the amazing smells!

Walking stick? Check. Hunting socks? Check. Hawkeye calendar? Check. Wait, none of that was on my list! And I don't even go hunting or even like the Hawkeyes, aagh! Horsfall in Lansing has everything practically that you can think of here from groceries, office supplies a variety of practical needs that you wouldn't expect. The store can be very busy but getting through the aisles is a big challenge because it's very narrow like going through a bodega in New York city. Staff here is very friendly. I would not recommend shopping here if you are claustrophobic

The wines were mediocre but the tasting is free and he lets you taste as many as you want, we did purchase two bottles. The other great thing is the wines are very reasonable priced! I also got a breakfast bowl with greens, roasted veggies, and grains, and they let me substitute some mushrooms for the eggs, so that it would still be very filling, balanced, and hearty.
