They'll be able to tell you if you need to have your equipments repaired or not, and can give you pretty good recommendations. They were able to help me out in picking the perfect one. They gave me tips and tricks on how to string my new racquet and even strung it for a low price. I just started taking tennis lessons and one of my goals while in Miami was to get my first racket. My instructor recommended a specific one (Babolat Pure Drive Lite), and I couldn't find it at any of the big stores (i.e., Sports Authority). So after a quick Yelp search this one showed up and I stopped by. The owner of the shop was there and I explained what I needed. He didn't have my specific racket but he said he could get it in a few days. I was in a hurry since I only had 3 more days in Miami and he managed to get it in just 2, with the strings included. The day I showed up to pick it up his wife was there instead of him. She was super nice and I walked out of the store happily swinging the racket in the air like some crazy Federer wannabe. I found this little tennis shop on Yelp, and trusted my fellow Yelpers as it seemed to have many excellent reviews. I needed to get my tennis racket re-gripped and re-strung, so I decided to stop in one evening. They were about to close so I ended up leaving my 2 rackets there and they took my information and said they would call me tomorrow to talk about the specifics. Sure enough they called me and chatted with me on the tension of what I would want my racket re-strung to as well as talking over pricing. The price he quoted seemed very reasonable. They had my rackets re-strung and re-gripped within two days and when I went to pick them up they were so kind. The price was exactly what we talked about and more importantly the work they had done was excellent. Overall, they know what they're doing, they're kind, and their prices are excellent.
