Nothing except passively milking it for their fee. I knew what I signed up for, I guess, but the complete lack of care was startling, to say the least. More than once, their lack of presence cost me time loss payments, and they were ok with that because any retroactive payments get them a larger piece of that pie. My legal assistant was terrible about calling me back or even remembering what was going on with my case. On our last occasion, she talked to me for less than 2 minutes, got my name wrong as well as injury, and said she'd call me back in a day. It's been more than a month now, and my L&I case is closed. Did my employer accommodate my new, reduced capacity? Nope. Then, rather than accommodate, they forced me out altogether.. traveling maintenance with a company who can't find transportation? Sure could've used legal advice then. Guess you don't work for the working people, do you?
