Marcin took the time to go over the process in detail and took our concerns into consideration. In particular, we did not want to waste materials when reconstructing two of our decks. Marcin saved as many deck boards as he could, replacing them with new boards only when necessary, which saved us money. One of the best things about Marcin is that he is incredibly responsive to phone calls and emails. Also, he treated our home like his home... perpetually cleaning up after himself and leaving no trace that he was there when I got home from work. In designing our roof deck, Marcin and I worked very well together. He listened intently to how I wanted the deck designed and constructed and in response offered up solutions and ideas that fit precisely with my vision. Not only is Marcin a talented carpenter, he also has a great eye for design, which helps when you are looking to save money and already have a design in mind. He told me he would bring me three options for decking material, and instead brought me seven, all at different price points. The work Marcin does looks EXPENSIVE. As previously noted, he is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He truly cares about each and every project he works on and his work product is definitely a reflection of who he is as a person. The project started out well, but as the renovation progressed, the relationship deteriorated and became increasingly hostile. We initially chose CHR based on Chris's expertise, but he often left the subcontractors to work unsupervised and would only return at the end of the day. On multiple occasions, I had to identify errors myself and ensure they were corrected. If I hadn't caught these mistakes, I doubt CHR would have noticed or addressed them. We always made our payments on time and genuinely tried to make the arrangement work. In the beginning, we were optimistic about working with Chris and Maria, as they seemed like a solid Christian couple. However, as the project went on, their behavior did not reflect the integrity or professionalism we expected. Before hiring CHR, we interviewed some of their past clients, but in hindsight, it appears they only directed us to those who were satisfied. The fact that they have been in business for over 16 years yet have very few publicly available reviews should have been a red flag. Also note that CHR is not BBB accredited. At this point, I don't wish CHR ill will, as it has been over a year since the renovation was completed. I do, however, hope Chris and Maria take the time to read reviews like this carefully and use such feedback to improve their business practices.

These projects were supposed to be completed within a maximum of one month. My spouse repeatedly asked the owner of this company to provide the final version of the contract for signature, but Mohammad kept delaying and avoiding this request with various excuses. According to the agreement, we were supposed to pay 30% of the contract amount at the start of the projects, and the remaining amount upon their completion. Unfortunately, due to an unfounded and mistaken trust in Mohammad, my spouse ended up paying him the full amount within a month -- even though, after seven months, the projects are still not finished and Mohammad is no longer answering our calls. He even failed to pay his workers, and we had to provide fruit, sweets, food, and lunch daily to Mohammad's workers for two months. Although my spouse has hired a skilled legal attorney and this matter is being pursued through the legal system, the stress and mental toll he has endured during this time is irreparable. Therefore, if you are considering a renovation or construction project in your home (painting, roofing, remodeling, finishing basement, retaining wall, etc.) , I strongly advise you not to consider this company or its owner. The most dishonest, incompetent, and disgraceful qualities a person can have are embodied in the character of this company's owner.

They were very sloppy got paint speckle's on my entire new floor and baseboards. Paint on my stairs leading to the outside and even on my driveway. Left the room with dust everywhere and did not move my furniture back as he said they do. Did not clean or prime the walls before painting them. I had a dust web on one wall corner and it was still there when they said they were finished painting. You can see roller marks on my ceiling and missed panting marks. Every appointment we had with him he either was hours late or did not show up. No phone calls and no shows. We have cameras in our house and they were standing on my $10,000 pool table and my speakers to paint. When I confronted both Haroon and the supervisor Gino all they said was "well was there any damage". After several attempts and missed appointments Haroon agreed to come back. Of course he was 8 hours late and all he said after I pointed out the horrible painting job is that he want to get past all of this and would repaint. 2 more appointments set up with him and no show and no calls. After 2 phones calls of calling the company Times Construction I left a message that I will be going to small claims court about this the supervisor Gino called and assured me that he will get this corrected or refund my money. Same scenario no show for appointments although he did call one time and said that the person that was to come got kick out of the place that she/he lived in and they could not make it. Wanted to set up another appointment on a day that my husband was having surgery. I explained I would need to call back to give them the time. Well I called gave the Ok to come and again no show no call. On top of all of this we have a TV on the wall and Haroon said that they are painting around it because no one can see behind the TV. What a joke. My husband took the TV off of the wall and told them to be careful as it was leaning against our couch. Haroon knocks the TV over and tells my sister " oh well they need a new TV anyways". They also only painted half of the room because they said that paneling cannot be painted. When we researched this and confronted him about it he said too much work. Our contract was for him to paint the paneling. I am now going to take them to small claims court. Beware!

We found Rite-Way to be outstanding and could not be more pleased with their quality of work. With the work having been completed over two years ago, we have lived in our new space and are very impressed with the ongoing quality of their work and the craftsmanship of their cabinets. Marv and Walt worked with us and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Remodeling is never problem-free and unanticipated issues always arise. Marv and Walt were very open and understanding as issues arose. Our village building inspectors were also aware of Rite-Way and once they discovered Rite-Way was our general contractor, the inspections went very smoothly. We had only one issue arise during our warrantee period and Walt followed through on a timely and professional basis and resolved it quickly and professionally with the subcontractor.
