Called these people. The young lady who answered the phone was great! She answered all my questions extremely professional... Then I met MARK! He appeared extremely professional, came into the unit to give estimate with a clipboard. Asked me what I wanted and then it went all downhill. It was quite an extensive amount of work that needed to be done. He immediately starting questioning my funding in front of the seller. It got so bad I had to say, We can discuss your financial concerns, but the seller doesn't need to be privy to this level of my business. We leave out and he seems ok again, just wanted to be sure I could get the funding. I'm like no problem can you put the bid in tonight. He says ok. I call him the next morning because the bid hasn't been submitted and he is like Oh I was really busy yesterday. Ill TRY to get to it by the end of the day. Again he did not, After a week goes by. I ask do you want this job... He says to be honest I would have passed if I knew it was all this work that needed to be done. At that point I was done. We no longer need to communicate. After interviewing a couple of other contractors, we chose Lifetime to redo our bathroom. Mark gave us what turned out to be a remarkably good itemized estimate off the top of his head. We were able to schedule the work very quickly. The work crew communicated well with us, allowing us to know when they would be coming and going, to update them on finishes, and to follow the job as they went through it. Lifetime just completed my basement renovation December 2017. I am very pleased and plan on using them for more work around my house. Pros: Initial meeting was very professional. Marc provided an estimate the same day he reviewed the job. The team of workers were very professional as well. They typically showed up between 8:30-9:00 a.m. M-F and worked a full day to about 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. They really worked with me and around my schedule. Since I was usually working during the day the workers would call me during the day with any issues or questions and we would face time a lot during the design stage. Cons: Let me start by saying I am very pleased with my bathroom BUT it is not what I requested. For some reason there was some type of confusion as to what I wanted. I contracted for a full bathroom with bath tub, shower, and a linen closet. - The bathroom ended up getting designed with a walk in shower only. No tub. No linen closet. - Again it's lovely but not what I really wanted. I had major plumbing work that had to be completed. (Worst part of the project) The plumber worked maybe 4 or 5 days and left a big mess after each visit. I wasn't as concerned for the mess in the basement work area but they had to cut the walls on my main level to reach some pipes. They cut 3 separate walls on the main floor and left all kinds of mess for me to clean. Mud, dust etc. I would have appreciated if the plumber cleaned up after himself just like the carpenters and electrician did. They fixed the walls that were cut but only repainted the small portion of the wall where the cut out was made so of course the paint color does not really match the color that was there. I will have to end up re-painting the entire walls of each of those 3 rooms. I wasn't planning on doing that. I was told the job would take 7 weeks. It ended up taking 10 weeks. (not super bad) There were a few days (about 5) where I was told they would be there to work and then didn't show up for one reason or another. Also there was a little confusion about the flooring I wanted. I said I wanted either a stained floor to look like wood or some kind of tile that looked liked wood. - I ended up getting ceramic tile that looks like wood. - I ended up being charged extra for the tile I chose. I was never given a budget for the flooring and thought that my quote price would have included the flooring. I ended up being charged extra for my flooring choice which I didn't anticipate. I know things are never perfect when doing construction. The few cons were a bit annoying but not super major for me. Overall I think they did a great job and I plan on using them again. read more

Their treatment of new customers is horrendous. Contacted company to set up a date to provide estimate on installing cabinetry, an island, countertop, and sink. They contact me the night before telling me they want to cancel because the job would be a waste of their time. Irony is I'm trying to provide my business to them. Lack of professionalism and an excessive focus on funding size is a bad combination. There are jobs too small for these folks. Do not bother with them unless you're trying to do a FULL kitchen remodel; even then I still caution you against contracting them. read more

Bathroom remodeling. Poor quality work. Tried to take shortcuts and do the cheapest thing they could to get project done. Contractors all needed work to be carefully examined as they did not follow what was agreed upon. Threatened to delay the project when i demanded the plumbing be done to specs. Now that they are done i need to spend a day touching up the bad paint job, cleaning up a room full of drywall dust, obtaining and securing screws that they left out of the door and several other little fixes. Horrible at following thru on what they promised. I constantly needed to complain to get anything done up to code. read more

I chose Lifetime Remodelers to tear out my old, ugly cracked patio slab and driveway, and install a new larger patio and driveway. Mark was able to meet with me within days after my initial call and we quickly settled on the scope of the project. Mark is an excellent salesman, not pushy at all. He obviously has extensive customer service experience, which enables him to sense what you want and make suggestions that will enhance your remodeling project without going way beyond your original ideas. I was very happy with the final result! As I have a difficult work schedule and was not always availabe to receive calls or voice mails from Lifetime, Mark and company were able to bridge the occasional communication lapse with text messages. Not the best form of communication, but helpful in my case. I was always kept informed on who would be working and when. I was unavailable to meet many of men who worked on my repaving project, however, they always cleaned up after working and did not disturb my neighbors on my block. I highly recommend Lifetime Remodelers if you are considering a home improvement project. They are very professional, and also very experienced. I signed a contract and paid a down payment with Mark of Lifetime on Sept.2, 2016. I am still waiting for the work to be done. Hector came by on Wednesday, 9/14, measured railings and said he would be back Thursday or Friday to do the work and Mark would call. No show, no call. Mark never calls to follow up on anything. Long story short, after sending an email to Mark on 10/07 he replied that the work would definitely be done early the next week or I would receive a discount. Two men arrived on Friday 10/14 around 10:00 a.m. worked until 12:30 left and I have not heard anything from them since. read more

The renovation kitchen project was done with perfection. We are highly pleased with the outcome, although it took twice as long to complete (4 weeks instead of 2 as promised by Mark, the owner). There were a few snags here and there but due to the diligence and expertise of the Team Leader, Genardo (spelling?), everything worked out fine to our satisfaction. If you use this company, try to get Gernardo who oversees everything his workers do and will also be a part of the team to get it done. He is outstanding! We experienced some confusion with the owner, Mark, so I suggest you get everything in writing before the project begins. read more
