This was my third visit, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently unacceptable each time. Despite the services clearly advertised and included in the app, employees continuously refuse to provide towels for customers to properly finish drying their vehicles. In addition, they repeatedly refuse to clean the carpets, claiming that carpet cleaning is not covered, even though the app explicitly states otherwise. As a paying customer using a service promoted by Toyota, I expect the business to honor the services included in the program instead of making excuses or denying benefits that customers are entitled to receive. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and failure to provide the advertised services reflects very badly on both this location and the Tru Toyota Autocare Network. I would appreciate this issue being addressed immediately to ensure customers receive the services they are paying for and promised through the program.

I've seen the workers sitting in the back for up to half an hour waiting for the boss to wake up and open the business AFTER business hours have started. It's not convenient, especially in the winter months when you want to get your car washed more frequently. The first time they were closed, I mentioned it to the owner, and he said it was because the machines broke down. At least leave a sign at the entrance that you're closed due to mechanical issues. Even if there is a line it does not take too long to move. The crew vacuums the car and prep it to go through the wash belt. There is a waiting area in the shop with a small restroom. After it comes out of the car wash, there are a few guys that wipe down the outside. Now using Yelp, it is good to know they have a yelp check in offer for ten percent off.

If I want a full wash it's just an additional $10.00. Since I'm usually the only one in my care the interior doesn't get too dirty. I work close by so I go at least once a week, sometimes 2. It's nice to know especially now with winter coming I can just pop in and get a wash to get all the dirt, grime and salt off my car. They also offer a rain check, if you get a full wash and it rains that day you can go back the next day for a complimentary exterior wash. Wow that's great, don't know any other car wash that does that. The staff is always polite, friendly and efficient, wiping down the car and all the door jams even with just the exterior wash. Dan, the attendant who scanned the coupon, explained that I could only get an exterior wash and that I could self vacuum for $2 extra because they wash only the outside of vehicles. This is a brushless car wash, so I did not need to worry about antenna damage. My antenna was damaged several years ago at a brush car wash, and that was the last time I ever went to one. I was the only customer around 3 pm on 11/4/25, and I was out of there about 3:07. I was impressed with the results because the exterior of my car looks clean and nice.

After going through the wash, I noticed multiple scratches on my vehicle. I reached out simply to ask whether anything had changed with the brushes inside the car wash because I had never experienced anything like this before. I wasn't looking for compensation. I was asking a question and hoping they would take my concern seriously. Instead, they immediately blamed me. They reviewed their security footage and claimed I caused the scratches by lifting the vacuum hose over my Jeep while vacuuming. I know that's not what happened. I noticed the scratches before I vacuumed and finished cleaning the car because I wanted to see if they would wipe off. Their explanation also doesn't add up. The scratches are concentrated along the passenger side of my hood and windshield frame. If the vacuum hose had actually caused them, the damage would be in completely different areas. I've also used these vacuums many times before without ever leaving a single scratch on my vehicle. What disappointed me the most wasn't that they disagreed with me. It was how quickly they dismissed my concern and blamed the customer instead of taking the time to genuinely investigate what happened. Customer service is about listening and treating customers with respect, even when there is a disagreement. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience at the Valley Stream location. Because of the way this was handled, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this location to others. I hope management takes a more customer-focused approach in the future because this experience left a really bad impression.
