This is a family owned business . They always greet me by name and everybody provides amazing customer service. Better yet I really really appreciate it loyal customers! The thing I like the most is that they have fresh ingredients for my Mexican food meals. I wouldn't go anywhere else but here to buy Carne Asada for a big party . Adventuring to the Mucho Mas tienda by the Sno-King Ice Arena in Kirkland today, Thursday 7 December 2023, I was not sure what I was looking for exactly. There was some fruit inside the front entrance that reminded me of some of the items my family ate when feeling adventurous when I was growing up. My dad has been cooking latino food items for church of recent and likes spicy foods, so I decided to see if I could find something(s) he might like. A few of the sections piqued my interest such as the pickled vegetables and salsas. I also noted sections for fresh items including baked goods and a meat case. By the meat area, there were some Takis (tortilla chip brand) options available. A particular flavor caught my eye (Blue Heat with heat rated as extreme per packaging and the spice coming from hot chili peppers). I decided to go with two of the smaller bags, one for me to try and one for my dad. A friendly worker helped me at check out and greeted me when I entered the store. She thoughtfully asked me if I needed help finding anything when I was shopping. Payment was straightforward and my cash as payment method was accepted. Tasting the Takis when I got back to my car, I found them flavorful and crunchy (not stale). All around enjoyed my experience. read more

Sometimes a girl just needs a little horchata! I had been eyeing this spot for a while hoping it would have some great treasures inside, and I finally made it in when the horchata craving was reaching its limits (I used to get my fill at various Mexican restaurants but we haven't been going lately). Anyhow, this is a little shop with hot food, vegetables and fruit as well as lots of grocery items. I was happy to see things like nopales and, yes, even some horchata! This is even a little carniceria (butcher shop) and the meat did look pretty decent! There are maybe 20 or so pinatas on the ceiling as well and the prices aren't out of control. It's definitely worth checking out for a specialty item or just for some grocery items in a pinch. We had just eaten so we didn't order much hot food, but I really wanted to give something a try in here so we got a few tamales. They only had a few to choose from, but my husband REALLY enjoyed the chicken ones we had. They had a nice spicy kick to them and he appreciated that the filling wasn't smothered in tomatoes. Great place to check out if you love to cook. They have variety of items from most Latin American countries. As small as this place seem, you might find that beauty product you've left behind in Mexico. I'm just saying this because this place seems to sell everything. Hey! Very disappointed the store is not clean, the guy that is on the meats was not friendly or helpful I asked for the better option of meat that he might have and he told me that I can go to Safeway to get better quality meat wtf ! I remember when this place first opened, more than 10 years ago. My family and I were excited because we lived around the corner and had to drive far to find products from our home country, Peru. It is obvious that the place could use some organization, but that never bothered me as much as the poor customer service from both owners. In the course of the years I have moved out of state and came back to visit family. Every time I decided to give this place another chance because of how convenient the location was. Well, every single time I left disappointment. My last experience was less than a month ago. The female owner was at the register, I walked in and made eye contact. I proceeded to get what I wanted walked to the register to pay and during the whole transaction never once did this lady say "hello". I mean how difficult is it to say hi to those spending their money in your business. She would look away as she would rang up my debit card. At the end I asked for a bag, I was ignored! Again!. It bothered me so much I asked again, this time I got a response "we don't give bags, can't you carry your stuff?". No ma'am, I cannot carry 4 big bottles of soda, plus all the candy, and the plantains while juggling a 1 year old. I finished paying and she never said thank you or have a good day. The next day I went back again because I wanted a drink they sale badly enough to go there and because it was within walking distance. I watched the same lady bag a customer's products, no bags right?! I let it go because it would be a waste of my time to point that out. I had the Same experience! No greeting whatsoever. At the end of the transaction I felt so annoyed I said "you have a good day too" the only word I got out of her was "aha". If I was a business owner I would be more than happy to have customers. This lady seems annoyed, she truly lacks customer service skills. Her husband is not as bad, but could also favor from some serious customer service classes. read more

I bought some toasted bread and some cheese from this place and they both tasted soapy. The tres leches cakes sometimos are left in the fridge too long, they don't have a date stamp on them so no one knows how long was the cake In there for, I bought two and the two were bad. NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!! Today a friend and I went into the store. We found some cute mexican candies that we decided to try. After, going home we ate most of the candy. My friend realized the chocolate in the garfield crackers with chocolate fillings was chunky. We checked the expiration date and found that the crackers were almost seven months expired!!!! This is totally illegal and the crackers had mold in them! We were totally disgusted, as we had already eaten a lot of their candy, including most of the moldy crackers.This store is completely illegitimate and I strongly urge you to never step foot in there!
