Cozy little Indian grocery shop in Kirkland area and right on the bus route 255, a big plus for me.

If you like Russian packaged foods, you will love this place. I find those foods to be mostly of inferior quality, both in flavor and in how well-made they are. First time in. Good selection. See my previous comment about Russian packaged foods. Add the fact that money is going back to Russia and Putin, and I will not be returning.

They have uniquely sourced items that are from Poland, Ukraine, and neighboring countries, as well as familiar items like house made baklava. When I shop there, I mostly concentrate on their dry goods such as sauces in jars, sweets, and easy to cook foods like frozen perogies (dumplings). Amongst the sweets, the Polish Wawel Mieszanka Krakowska chocolate covered jelly candy is a welcome treat. I enjoy wafer treats, so the Roshen wafers from Ukranine is my choice. I haven't had much luck with their produce; I skip them. (FYI: The business uses the Yelp photos to post the latest produce that has arrived, which is perfectly legitimate. But because they don't delete the previous photos, the Yelp photos suggest they may have a bigger produce section than they actually have at a given time. I was confused the first time I stepped in.) The shop is located in a strip mall with plentiful parking. The space is older, which I honestly don't care as long as it is clean. I don't require much service since I only need to pay and go. For me, this store doesn't serve the deli or the produce function in its name. But I do enjoy exploring their different items and choosing something new-to-me to try. That is good enough.

Our main…read moreattraction was the hot food buffet station since shopping here always meant, yummy food at the end. My 5 year old really enjoys many of their hot food staples. The T&T in Lynnwood doesn't disappoint at all. While it is smaller than the Factoria location, we do not personally have any complaints. The place is not always packed like the Factoria location and that is a a relief. We primarily use the food & bakery sections, live fish, and frozen food sections. One can say they are a bit pricier in comparison to places like Ranch Market who have similar options but we T&T is closer to us than Ranch Market and so we prefer to go here as it is more convenient. They are special items during Boat Festival every year and we absolutely love the bun station during this time. This is also a great place to experiment with a lot of not usually found Asian alcohol in main stream supermarkets unless you are specially going to a specialty shop.

I did get some uShu Mai, which I really enjoyed, but I could've gotten it cheaper at Trader Joe's. I also found the fresh fruits to be a lot more expensive. I used to go to quite a few Asian stores in the international District, and usually the fresh foods were all cheap cheaper than any typical grocery store, but it seems to be the opposite of of this store. They do have some cute shopping parts for the little ones that are small shopping carts at a very low level for children to push and say "shopper in training". Really love this. Lines are pretty long but the nice benefit is that the cashiers are all humans and that they are not using self checkout. They typically have 2 cashiers working during the daytime. Not sure if they have more during evening hours.

The great customer service i was used to , completely gone. I took some items to the counter to ask about prices, two employees were so caught up in their own conversation I stood at the counter waiting uncomfortably for them to acknowledge me. One of the employees greeted me in Spanish, and when I asked about pricing in English , all friendliness vanished. (Mind you I am Hispanic) she then passed me off to another employee who was talking on the phone (another personal conversation, I understand Spanish) through an earbud while price checking some items. I paid for my things and decided to check out the pan dulce before I left and the closed door cases filed with pan had flies in them. So I left. I left feeling very unwelcome and I won't be back.
