First time having crawfish whole. It was an interesting experience. Going into the place it was very basic. Tables with plastic table cloths and rolls of paper towels on the tables. I wouldn't want it any other way. We ordered the pound of crawfish with corn and potatoes with some sausage. We had to wait for about 20 min but it was well worth it. For the past 3 weeks we have eaten here or taken food out 2 to 3 times a week. The crawfish are a great size much bigger than other places near by. The seasoning was inconsistent but when it was seasoned enough it was perfect!! The crab legs are super yummy too! My only complaint with the food is the corn has been absolutely horrible like almost old and the potatoes don't taste like they are cooked with the crawfish so not much flavor. Service here is weird. There were a few times we walked in and got ignored for 15+ minutes while girls working there stood infront of us texting. No hi or anything. The last night we were there Dakota took care of us and she was absolutely amazing though, such a sweet girl. I wish all of the workers were like her, it would make for such a better experience! We ordered a sack of live crawfish. You have to order a day in advance and when I asked if I needed to pay now they said "No," to just pay when we pick up. I called when they first opened to make sure the crawfish were ready. I was told they were in and we could pick up anytime before they closed at 9. I sent my husband around 1pm since we had a party starting at 3. When he gets there, the lady tells him "Sorry, we are sold out!" I called the store trying to figure out what was going on. The lady said "well, there is no guarantee when you reserve." Um, what?! She said they had another truck coming around 5 but didn't know how much crawfish would be on there. Seriously? How does this place have 4 and half stars? This is one of the worse places I have ever been. EVER. I come in with a group of about 12 people for dinner during Crawfish season. They are clearing a table off in the corner, perfect for our large crowd. We start hanging around the table, clearly to take it over after people clean it ( this isn't a "wait for the hostess" type place). As we sit down, a lady comes over and starts saying " this is the table we reserved!". Our party looks around and we don't see any reservation, so we sit anyway. Keep in mind we have already ordered our meals and are standing around waiting for a seat, whereas this lady has just recently walked in. Soon after, the lady working the register comes over and says that the table is in fact reserved and we need to move. I was livid. We each had already spent around $20 in Crawfish only to be standing room only, while this new lady still waited for her party to arrive. Oh I should also mention, I ordered a sweet tea to drink, and had to check on it 3 times, and still didn't receive it after about 45 min. A sweet tea! I am from New York however, I have family in New Orleans and have been to Mardi Gra twice. Those crawfish had no favor the only thing they showed was the cooks love of salt.
