I came here today since one of the local employee at the nursing home told me that they had a GREAT burger. I offered an hamburger and when it came out it was AMAZING! Upon first bite I could tell that the burger was hot off the grill (well seasoned) and the vegetables were cold, letting me know that the cooks waited until the last moment to addthe veggies. The bun was toasted but still soft. I will definitely be back especially since the owner goes around to make sure all patron are happy and satisfied. I will definitely be back here for lunch the next time I'm in Bonham, TX. read more

I got a cheeseburger with jalapenos and a bag of chips with a Coke. The cheeseburger was great with one exception. Toasting the bun on both sides would've brought it to five stars, because the taste was there but the bun was a little soggy. I'll still come here when i am in town and want a good burger. read more

Extremely disappointed in Mudbones this trip. On our last visit we were impressed with their yummy burgers. Had not been in awhile and was excited to see they added chicken items to the menu. I ordered the grilled buffalo sandwich. It was horrible! It's basically a frozen grilled patty slapped on the grill, lathered in not so great tasting buffalo sauce on an oversized bun. My husbands burger was not as good as the last few visits. Totally disappointed!! read more

The seating area is just a little small and crowded especially during lunch, however . . . with that said . . . the burger was wonderful. It reminded me of what a burger once tasted like, some years back from a place that actually sold hamburgers. Not the whole M.D. or B.K. type stuff or even Whataburger, ALTHOUGH, I do love Whataburger. This is the real deal. They dont serve fries, so that may be a deal breaker for some, though it didnt bother me, as the burger comes with a small bag of chips and a can drink. It is authentic and they have a great personality but their burger aren't as good as the burgers in Honey Grove, they are good and one does fill you up, unless you are a person who like a lot of food. The meat is real and they prepare their on food and its just really nice set up but the location is kind of a pain with the traffic but other then that, no issues at all. read more

Seriously the best burger within 200 miles of Dallas, I live in Dallas and I have the luxury of an endless variety of food within driving distance..but this place oh my. This is hands down the best burger I've ever eaten, we put a rattlesnake egg (Fried american egg roll) right in the middle of two patties with their home made smokey jalapeno sauce and I couldn't believe how just something as easy as a burger could taste so good. For all the hype, I expected at least a fresh hand patted beef pattie. we were visiting Bonham from DFW and the place looked interesting. Great traditional old fashioned burger. Grilled buns and a choice of cheese. I love the tax included pricing. Atmosphere is not much, communal tables in a garage, but everyone was so happy eating their greasy full of flavor burgers. I wish they had one in my town. Owners are Christians and give you a wonderful bible message on the back of the menu. Order takers were very friendly and joked that he was sorry he was about to ruin us from eating all other burgers and he was right. read more

We stopped by here on our way back from broken bow to try it out as it got high ratings it yelp. The reviews were true. Food was excellent and price was reasonable. But aside from the great food, we were treated very nicely who we assumed was the owner of the place, he was funny and explained every item on the menu for us out of towners. He even asked if the temperature in the restaurant was to our liking. My kid made a comment that it was the best customer service she has ever had. I wish we live close by as we would become regulars to this place read more
