Little town diner, lovely staff( comes with the territory). Their food is very fresh, their bacon is great! Please try their biscuits and sausage gravy...delicious! It taste like your grandma made it. We went for breakfast but they have a really extensive menu and it looks like they have great lunch options too. read more

The food was very good. It was the first time I finished a half pound burger in years. My wife had a cheesesteak that she said was also very good. The ambience was American Traditional Greasy Spoon, which we prefer to stuffy establishments. Prices were very reasonable and the lunch specials were a very good value. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful - and the food is the best comfort food I've had in so long. This little gem of a place feels just like your at home: with the kind waitstaff and the smell of homemade home cooked meals aroma in the air. Tara was so kind to my son and I. She truly made us feel like we were family. She told us they have daily specials and they all sounded delicious and affordable. We will definitely be back soon to try the food. We stopped to get a drink and use the restroom, while we were on a mini day trip to Bonham. We've been eyeing this place for several weeks and being new to the area, want to try everything. They did not disappoint! From the homemade, yes homemade, gravy to the great coffee, to the perfect eggs over medium (no runny whites) the breakfast was perfect. Definitely a place worth your visit! Accidentally found this nice little place while hunting down breakfast one day and I'm really glad I found it. I ended up eating breakfast there five days in a row while in town on business. The server (I really wish I remembered her name) was amazing. When I walked in every morning she automatically recalled what I wanted to eat and drink. Super great personality, the kind of server that makes you want to keep coming back, regardless if the food is great or not. Having said that, the food here actually is really good. read more

The daily special was meatloaf with 2 sides. I ordered a extra side for a small fee. The meatloaf was excellent and well seasoned. They had jalapeños cornbread or regular cornbread. The jalapeños cornbread had just the right amount of heat. read more

Great and friendly service, nice old fashioned ambiance. Open Monday's (seems like no restaurants are in Bonham). Ordered the rib eye which was pretty pricey at $26, but can with two sides and Texas toast and a salad. Salad bar is little weak but the green tomatoes are incredible. They are pickled and addictive. All the food coming out looked great while I waited for mine. Steak was cooked perfect and best ribs eye I had in a while. Everyone was very attentive. Overall great food and I'll be back soon. read more

The food is good, and great service, just the boss is a terrible person and doesn't treat the coworkers with respect. When I went there the boss had to give me attitude and disrespect. The boss doesn't pay the coworkers good money and they don't get to have the tips. The tips go into a tip jar and they split it. Tho boss gets all the money they want and think their the king of the place. I was thinkking of working there before but I don't feel like getting treated the way he treats the coworker. So if anyone wants to work there I recommend no one work there unless you want to get yelled at all the time and get upset read more

Pretty sad! In town for my sons soccer game and ran across this place and decided to give it a try. It was 11:30 on a Saturday when we arrived. Nobody to meet at the door and I had to walk to the back to ask if we sit wherever or what the protocol was. Got a booth and began to look over the menu. Waitress came to take our order AND to tell us they are only serving breakfast... on a Saturday at noon... but okay. Looked over the menu again and decided with the chicken fried breakfast, only to be told the fryer is off... at this point I just wanted food. So we ordered and I should've know better, eggs were still raw. Just a complete and total let down. Even my boy just left his food on the table.. Do better. read more

We were visiting the Sam Rayburn Historic Home site today (which by the way was great!) and stopped for lunch at this wonderful eclectic restaurant. We did not order off the menu but ate the great selections on their lunch buffet. Huge servings and everything was delicious. Warm friendly atmosphere. We will certainly make this a stop again.
