Very small slice of chocolate pie but it was good.

Early supper on a weekday. Items one the menu are common cafe fare. The buffalo wings and fries were good. Very hot and fresh. Mom tried the chicken salad sandwich on rye and liked it...she said a bit too much mayo but she would order it again. She liked the onion rings. I ordered a slice of chocolate pie to go and it was good but a bit small for the price...in my opinion. Our waiter was polite and helpful. This building is one of our Greenville Historic buildings or it's really just aged. Parking is tricky; there is some in the back also.

Only place in Greenville area To get curry which the Tikki masala Does not disappoint, just ask for extra chicken Been here over 5 times never bad Be adventurous and order for the chef special For some dumplings or chow mien or my favorite the Tikki Burgers and fries and of course the onion rings are great and everything thing else. Location is amazing if you like corky historic buildings and good wood work Recommend anyone to try at least once

Ordered two onion rings with an up charge. We didn't get them but got charged. Instead they just wrote in the box and let us figure it out the hard way once we got home. Not going back, they scammed me and took my money.

Stopped by for some quick lunch, everything was delicious and great service. Everything we ordered was 10/10 Also chupacabra cheese fries were amazing.

Egg, bacon, cheese, avocado served on grilled sourdough bread, home fries.

The food is always cooked fresh. The service was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The location is in side an old store front, with shopping places inside.

Cute little hidden place! Best fried pickles I've had out this way, the cheese fries were delicious and the dumplings were what I came for! Staff was very friendly. Didn't disappoint! Clean also :)

First visit. Saw comments and pictures online. Daily Specials. Reasonable prices. Quick lunch. Seated quickly. Attentive staff. Asked for recommendations and they were spot on. Burger cooked well and seasoned correctly . Opted for recommendation of onion rings. Hand dipped not frozen out of a box. Big and good. Club sandwich was fresh and bread toasted lightly which I like. The fries are the very best I have ever had. Not sure what the seasoning was but it made the fries. Cheesecake for dessert. Not a big place but worth the stop.

There are three considerations for a good restaurant: atmosphere, service and food. Indian Dhaba…read morenailed all three! Indian Dhaba has a friendly and cozy atmosphere. The facade from the road is rather unassuming. No glamor or glitz. Upon entering the restaurant, everything changed. We were greeted with a smile by a gentleman who held the door for us. There are plenty of tables and TVs abundant. Country music playing in the background suggested no theme which added to the charm. The service was refreshing. It was clear that they wanted to ensure an excellent customer experience which exceeded our expectations. And now to the food. I was accompanied by my wife and her uncle. We all agreed that the taste profile was unlike anything we had experienced before; it was off the charts! My wife and uncle had the chicken curry while I had the goat dum biryani. There were generous amounts of meat in each disc, and the spices were definitely fresh and authentic. The flavors did not remind me of something I had eaten in the past, but rather of a comfortable place I had not visited before. The basmati rice and naan were both prepared to perfection. We will definitely return as soon as the mood strikes and will highly recommend to our friends!!

I had the Saag (spinach) Paneer curry and also the Chettinad mutton curry, along with garlic naan bread , also rice. Very good with generous proportions. I think it was no less than 80 degrees in there. They had an AC unit which was running but that thing was not going to cool the entire restaurant. There was no way. Service. Wow. Mediocre at best. The food comes out rather quickly and the seating is good. The decor does not fit the establishment's roots. I think they need to go back to the drawing board and make it feel like I am on foreign land when stepping inside and trying out Indian food. I ordered the lamb masala with buttered naan and lollipop chicken. The lamb was cooked beautifully, the curry was also very tasteful. Rice was good as expected. I mostly mixed everything with the rice. Now, for the lollipop chicken. They need to take that thing off the menu or re-create it. There were more crispy parts than chicken itself. Unseasoned as well. I ordered a lime soda and it was decent. I think if you ordered here to go, your experience will be a lot different. Customer service was sub-par. With only 1 waitress, the restaurant was not even busy but yet it took me 8 minutes to cash out. Staff need to be more attentive to their customers. Would I try the food here again? Yes. But only if they fix or get a bigger air conditioning unit.

The tandoori bone-in chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the spices and flavor were excellent. I got it with a side of rice and cooling raita sauce, with were great complements to the chicken. A first rate Indian restaurant…read more They call themselves Nepali. And the entrepreneurs may easily be Nepali. In the US, calling yourself a Nepali restaurant means taking a standard North Indian menu and adding momo and some Chinese dishes. In Nepal, they eat a lot more than momo. Mountainous regions in poor countries often use forms of protein that Americans don't particularly care for. (Fill in the blanks yourself on this one.) Doing that in the U.S. would be commercial suicide. At one time, Mount Everest had goat intestine on the menu. Goat intestine is relatively un-shocking given other items that Nepalis hunt or butcher and eat. The goat intestines did not sell well and had to be removed from the menu. So mostly what you get here is a plain old North Indian restaurant. Fortunately, Mount Everest is a very good plain old North Indian restaurant. * * * The headline story here is spice. A. Lots of it. B. Not your standard Anglo-Indian curry house spice mixes. I ordered my eggplant with a heat of 4. A heat of 5 is their !!NUCLEAR!! option. 4 is their "Commands Respect- Listen to Me Baby" level. Mount Everest's 4 is most other Indians restaurants 38. Steam came out of ears. Steam came out of eyes. I was amazed my metal container was able to hold that dish. I set a Grayson County speed record for most Naan consumed in the shortest amount of time ... As vast amounts of naan were stuffed into my flaming mouth to lower the temperature. * * * I LOVED IT. I WOULD DO THAT AGAIN IN A NEW YORK MINUTE. * * * If molten lava isn't your thing Ordering your food with a heat of 0 or 1 Will give you a nice lovely very mild dish. Mount Everest caters to all tastes. * * * The spicing here is unusual. This particularly shows up in the salty lassis. I couldn't tell you what the flavor combo was. But it was intriguing and wonderful. That is another dish I would order in a New York minute. * * * Speaking of non-New-York topics, Mount Everest does its best to fit into a Texas-Oklahoma aesthetic. There is a pool table. For all I know, Texoma is full of Indian restaurants with pool tables. But that was the first time, I had ever seen such a thing. They have country-western style decoration, and guitars on the walls to help set a mood. They serve cold beer. I am not used to Texas Ice Houses that also serve Tikka Masala and Aloo Chana. But this is a concept I could definitely learn to like. * * * Overall, this is a first rate establishment. And if you want enough inner fire to be able to climb the Himalayas without wearing a parka, Order any dish with a heat of 5. The snow will melt on either side of you as you pass.
