We kept up with training honestly not every day. This weekend I was hiking alone with Racker in the hills above LA. I tripped and fell down a mountain breaking 3 bones. I was unable to climb up the rocks to make it out and had to be rescued by fire fighters and paramedics. They had to hike in and carry me out. All I could think of is how horrible it was going to be because Racker would become reactive and act aggressive in the situation. Instead because of his training he stayed in down the whole time. He barked once when they stabilized my leg and I screamed. After they picked me up he calmly let someone lead him out with me. If you are on the fence about training do it! You never know when an emergency will happen. The guys all praised how well behaved Racker was. I cannot thank Nick and Kassie enough. You really changed our life

Neptune and I went through the Standard Package training and it has been an amazing experience. My only regret is that I didn't start the training sooner. I feel like I have a new confident dog. I take him for walks every day, he's crate trained and he can hang out in the front yard without running away. Nick and Kassandra are great trainers, very well organized and extremely knowledgeable. The studio is always clean and a very comfortable place to bring you dog. I recently got a new puppy and have been able to apply what I learned to him and he is doing great as well. Long story short, the shelter supervisor drove out after hours late on Christmas Day to meet me and take the little guy in. He was responsive and very concerned about the well being of the dog. They contemplated keeping Romeo to use as a stud in their breeding program however, in the end they decided to adopt him to me. I can not even begin to explain how different the KoppieKatz Bengal Cat Breeding Facility really is and the effect it has, on the early stages of life. Here are some of the most amazing traits that I directly attribute to KoppieKatz Cattery. 1. Romeo is vocal because he is confident. Specifically Romeo always says "Hello", multiple times, whenever he walks into a room. This also shows his intelligence, aptitude to learn from humans and confidence to try. Its true. 2. He never misuses his vocals. Fortunately, he did not learn to hiss at humans or other animals. I believe this directly correlates with the Safely's keeping a wide variety of different types of animals at the facility as well as a lot of contact between humans and animals... which likely contributes to the lack of any skittish behaviors. 3. Romeo runs on a treadmill without being encouraged by treats... he literally, on his own accord, get onto a giant hamster wheel treadmill and runs. I believe he does this because he is seeking attention as the the wheel makes a good amount of noise and helps to get our attention. Suddenly the sound of the giant wheel spinning and Romeo is participating in an activity that he knows his human friends like. 4. Physique. Look at the pictures. Ok... I will say I have tried to get ahold of them through email years later and never received a response, now I don't know what's going on in their lives and so I'm not going to jump to any presumptions nor do I necessarily feel any resentment that I haven't received nor do I necessarily feel any resentment that I haven't received a call back regarding wanting to get a copy of his lineage in pedigree. But if they read this then hopefully they reach out. Another thing worth mentioning is that the best of the best Bengal breeders in California are a network of people who will get cats from each other to keep the Bloodlines pure and free of any interbreeding, and this is a pretty tightly-knit close circle of breeders that I'm referring to... another one worth mentioning being Bishop's Bengals or Karen's Kritters. If you're in the market for a wonderful pet, if you're in the market for a wonderful pet, animals has a animals has a and how's it going keep their owners on their feet and comes from a good stock that has never had a single illness or health condition in 6 years, then you wouldn't do so bad calling the Safelys and getting your next pet cat from KoppieKatz. I've had a Bengal from this cattery in my home for two months now and I could not be happier with the entire process. If you want to own a Bengal, but live far and cannot visit this cattery in person, I welcome you to trust my experience. I made an appointment to visit the cattery. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with smiles and enthusiasm by both Viki and Bruce. I was overwhelmed by the sweet temperament and visually stunning studs and queens. The pictures you see on the KoppieKatz website, although beautiful, DO NOT capture the exquisiteness you witness in person. The cleanliness of Bruce and Viki's home/cattery is mind-boggling. With nursing mothers, kittens and adult studs and queens, you'd expect the familiar "cat" smell - there was none. No litter/poop smell, no cat hair everywhere, no shredded furniture, floors are spotless, and above all the animals look very healthy and content with zero signs of sickness. I know Bruce and Viki are retired, but I can't figure out how they have the time to raise such stunning, confident, sweet and friendly Bengals. I visited the nursing mothers and their kittens. Not one mother hissed or showed signs of being uncomfortable with my presence. You can see the cats and kittens are handled often and treated as if they are family. Besides having a spotless home, and raising happy and healthy cats, Bruce and Viki took the time to keep in touch with me and often sent me pictures and videos of my little boy. Upon bringing my Bengal home I took him straight to the vet. Not only was the vet amazed by his beauty, he commented on his friendliness, "show quality", fearlessness and amazing health. My boy took very little time to adjust to his new home. I HIGHLY recommend KoppieKatz cattery if you are interested in the breed.
