I would NEVER bring my car here. I was referred to this place by a family friend thinking I would get a good referral and treatment since my family friend did body work and not mechanical. From the start I called the worst person in this shop without knowing. Rolando has to be the rudest most uneducated person I've ever come across. He has to know only two words which are "okay" & "and?". That's the type of service you could expect when you're polite and ask for a quote. This POS is lucky he's a mechanic and he could treat all these botched jobs just how he treats his clients. On top of it all he over charged $200 over all the other estimates I received. TERRIBLE!!! guy did my gasket seals and replaced one ignition coil. two days later while at a high rate of speed on I-95 at nigh lost power. took it back and come to find he did not tighten one of my ignition coils correctly. seriously buddy??? after correcting this mistake he give the car back to me and half way home car stalled and again was not running correctly. called and asked if he had test driven the vehicle to ensure it was corrected before letting me go and told me he did...well, he definitely did not. returned for the third time because this bozo mechanic accidentally knocked off the vacuum line while fiddling with my ignition coils. what a disaster this guy is. will not be going back here. customer service here is also a zero. read more

This shop will have your car running in great shape. I've been coming here for over 12 years. They are great at what they do, and they're HONEST. I took my car to the dealership, and they gave me a list of required repairs. I completed my oil change, and drove straight to Mueller's soon after. I gave Rolando the list of alleged repairs, he checked out my car, and advised me that my car was not in need of those additional services. I've never doubted his work or professional opinion. This will be the third time I'm coming to this business for my air conditioning, they replaced my compressor because they said it was broken, I paid $1000 dollars for the repair and not even a day later I still have hot air blowing through my vents, they looked at and gave it back to me saying it's fixed , I have a to go back again for a Third time for them to fix my air conditioner, what da HELLL!!!! Do they know what they are doing? I should have taken it to CHEVROLET, IM SURE THEY WOULD HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM, And I Would have gladly payed $1000. I received a referral from a friend for this shop because my check engine light came on and I wanted a diagnostic test done. I called about ten auto shops first asking how much they would charge for something so simple and the cheapest price I got was $40!! I happened to pass Muellers and decided to stop in. They immediately took my car in before I could even finish telling them my story and ran the test and fixed the problem (fresh air tube was clogged) FREE OF CHARGE. I live in North Eastern Illinois and am used to professional, and competent mechanics. I am now visiting the Miami area and a friends car pretty well died, and needed prompt service. She has been dealing with Mueller's for many years, so I accompanied her when she brought the car there. After a quick examination by one of the mechanics, he said it was only a vacume hose that needed replacement. Less than two hours later they called and said the car was fixed, and could be picked up. I was impressed by their competence, but mostly by their honesty. They could have told her it was a multitude of things wrong, but they didn't, and for that reason I would recommend anyone needing service on their cars, to go to Muellers. read more

They installed a broken part. It was a "new" coolant tank but they had broken the little tip and just tightened it on the hose. It almost immediately started leaking again but held up for a couple months before it popped off. It was $500 total including charges for 2 HOURS of labor for a part that I ended up getting a friend to replace in 15 minutes. Let me start off by saying that I am a mechanic myself and recently bought this truck off of a very nice retired lady. The master cylinder that Mueller's claimed to have changed 5 months ago was not replaced with a new part of replaced at all! I posted a picture of the yellowed plastic and rust. The rest of the engine compartment is clean and has no rust. If this item were changed with a new master cylinder, the plastic would be white and no rust. They either bought one from a Upick, or did not change the master cylinder and still billed the lady that I bought this truck off of twice the amount for the part that Autozone charged for a non-plastic push rod style. I gave the owner of Mueller's the ability to make things right, and they smugly said that there was no error made. I don't know what other inferior parts were used on the truck...I can only wait until it breaks down again!! I spent 3 hours on the side of I-95 looking at the $950 bill for replacing various clutch parts... read more

I called to schedule a major service on my car (oil change, break replacement, belt replacement) and the man was extremely rude to me. I called 2 minutes after five thinking most places are open until 7 and he answered the phone by yelling "WE'RE CLOSED!". It took me by surprise and I said "excuse me?" and he repeated in an even more agitated tone "WE'RE CLOSED!". So I said "Ok, I'm sorry. I guess you don't want my business. Have a good day". For a small business to treat the consumer like that they must not want to stay in business. If you're closed, don't answer the phone and I would have called back the next day. Screw them, I'll just take my car to Honda and pay a little more for people to be nice to me. read more

I brought my wife's car here after AAA refused to replace the battery under warranty because they claimed there was something wrong with the car that was draining the battery. Mueller' did a full diagnosis and determined that there was no battery drain and they DID NOT CHARGE anything for their service. This attests to their honesty. I have lived in Miami for over 10 yrs and had looked for a decent mechanic for so many of those years! I finally found Mueller's and I am so happy I did. I have a crappy old car and they have managed to keep it running smoothly without charging me a fortune. They are always fast and will take my car without notice. I love these guys!!! I found them when I lived in the neighborhood. I moved to South Miami and then all the way up to Pompano Beach. STAYED with Meuller's. Flat tire? Weird sound? I would run by the shop and someone always took care of me - happily! And no additional charge... Had a friend take her car here before heading across country - she had been quoted over $700 to make the car road-worthy. Meuller's recommended only and oil change. She made it with No Problem. I wish they were open longer hours because it can be tough to get there if you work a 9-5 but that is my only complaint. They are trustworthy and have great prices - practically unheard of in Miami. I was an avid customer of Muellers since 2006 when I purchased my used BMW. Their oil service was great and they made minor fixes (window regulator, rear view mirror, etc) at a decent price. However, my love story ended with Muellers this year when they charged me $1,500 ( new battery, wheel bearings and joint plus labor) to get my car running smoothly. Shortly after the service the dashboard went out and the car would not start. I took it back to Muellers and they said it was the battery and charged me for another one. But that didn't fix the problem. After several attempts they were unsuccessful. What drew the line for me was that they told me to give up on the car. I ended towing my car to a mechanic in Broward and they were able to fix it. I still have my Beemer running well. Never will I return to Muellers again. read more

My husband and I recently moved to Florida from New Jersey. Lately my husband noticed that the brakes on my 2002 Toyota Camry were hardly working and I had to finally concede he was right. I asked a lot of people if they knew a good car mechanic and everyone laughed and said no -- which was pretty surprising and discouraging. However, one person recommended Muellers, so I decided to try them. I described the problem over the phone and they said, yes, they could work on this and agreed to do it the next day. I dropped the car off about 9:00 AM and spoke with Steve. Around mid-day Steve called with a diagnosis and estimate. He said both the front and rear brakes and rotor/discs were completely rusted and needed to be replaced, and the brake pins were frozen and needed to be freed-up. Steve asked if I had lived by the ocean in NJ and I said yes. I hadn't told him that the car had also been outside during Super Storm Sandy in October. Although the car was never flooded, there was probably a lot of ocean spray around it, which I'm sure didn't do it any good. Anyway, the car was ready around 4PM and it's braking just perfectly. Parts were $299 and labor was $228 with Hazmat and tax bringing it to $566.39. Steve tried to explain the details of what had been done, which I appreciate, even if I don't completely understand it. Prompted by my husband, I had asked at the time of the estimate if the rotors could be machined instead of replaced, but Steve said they were too far gone. I've since read on the internet that many cars in the north are replacing their brake pads and rotors more frequently due to the municipalities now pre-treating their roads with potassium chloride prior to a snowfall. Potassium chloride is much more corrosive than the old salt of sodium chloride. Hopefully, now that I'm in Florida, my car parts will have a longer life! I liked the Mueller's shop. It's small and you can walk right in and see what's going on. I always hate it when I go to a large shop where the cars are hidden and I can't see what they are doing and I can't meet the guys actually working on my car. I'm happy with Mueller's Foreign Car Service and will certainly go back again when I need service on my car. read more
