I can't give them any stars. Yes, It's Battle Creek. Yet, Battle Creek is historically a stop on the Underground Railroad. I see plenty of different races within this town and yet, these people are racist as they get! I got my keys snatched right out of my hand, Was treated awfully from the time I got there until I sent my WHITE boyfriend in there to claim my car. When he gave the man my make and model he asked "Oh the black lady?" and that was the final straw. I do not recommend coming here unless you're white. read more

I took my truck in because I was working so much I didn't feel I had time to look at it myself. I didn't even check to see what was wrong. I figured it was wiring to the break lights, or an electrical short, and I told Jeremy I also thought I might have smoked my clutch, or maybe the brake caliper was sticking, and that I hadn't even looked at it. 1 day and $125 later I was back on the road and everything works fine. That's practically a charity service when most shops charge $150 and hour for labor alone!!! Jeremy could have told and charged me anything but he was honest and affordable. It's the busiest, and most affordable shop in town, so be patient but also call and follow up on your own vehicle, because these guys are turning tons of cars around everyday. read more

If I said everything great they have done then I'd sound like a paid advertisement. I've had my truck to them twice And each time fast, correct, and didn't cost me my first or last born. Their prices are reasonable and just because there are a lot of vehicles in the lot, doesn't mean you can't ask them! They might be able to help right away or get you the next morning like they did for me with my exhaust manifold. Remember look for Customer contact, professionalism, prices, and when you see the local police dropping off their POVs, you know they are the best around. this was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I bought a vehicle from a car lot and it needed just wheel bearings. I was told by the car lot to take it to muffler man. One week after I dropped it off I got a call that asked if mine was the one that wouldn't start? I said no, then they asked me was mine the one that had electrical and sensor issues? I said no. I told them mine was the one that needed wheelbearings. A few days later they called to let me know it was ready. When I went to pick it up the check engine light was on in my dash as well as the airbag light , my lights were flashing and someone had backed to my truck up into something putting a dent and missing paint under the glass on the back hatch. When I went back in to ask what they have done to my truck, he told me nothing other than fix it. I would never recommend taking any vehicle to this place as they all looked very shady, and lookEd like they were on drugs. Worst car repair experience ever! read more

Excellent work and very, very good prices. Initially, after moving back to the area, I was getting all my work done at Sears. Basically, anything I didn't feel like doing, didn't know how to do, or couldn't do. Sears does good work but their prices are outrageous. So, I began shopping around a few years back. I had a 99 Durango and my first stop with Muffler Man was when I needed an exhaust. I needed an entire new exhaust ran. I couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was. 2nd visit was months later for a bleeding brake line. They completely redid the rear drums and ran a line. Excellent work. Again, incredible prices. My most recent visit was with my Chrysler 300. I got a couple quotes, Sears and Wrights and again, Muffler Man was more than HALF off of what they both wanted. Muffler Man has my business for life. If there was one thing they COULD work on, it's the timeliness and estimated time of completion. But honestly, for the work they do and what they charge, I couldn't care less about waiting an extra hour or so. Thanks Muffler Man Crew!!! read more

I've been taking my small truck here for years. They are fast, honest, and will beat any price in town. Today my check engine light came on and the engine had been making an odd rattle. Even though it was Friday afternoon and the place was full of cars, with the 3 day Labor Day weekend ahead, they fixed it, and charged me NOTHING. Doesn't get any better than this! read more

They are very family oriented with a true heart for our community!! Like a diamond in the rough, they are a shop in the heart of Battle Creek that truly cares about their customers! I took my car in today afraid that I wasn't going to have enough money to even get the repair that I needed, but they completely worked with me and my budget and I'm now back on the road, good as new!!
