I received a very nice large pot of geraniums from my daughter for Mother's Day the day before Mother's Day. The gentleman came to my door and delivered them. In the late afternoon a woman from Mugford's called saying that I had a present on my front porch. Thinking that she was talking about the delivery that I got earlier in the day I told her that I already got them. When I went out on Mother's Day, I saw another large pot of geraniums sitting on my table on the porch! Both of them had the same writing on the card and were exactly the same card except for one, the flowers I got in the morning, said delivery was for Tuesday. I called Mugford's Monday morning and the woman laughed about getting two pots of geraniums and she said to enjoy both pots. That was very kind of her. I should have gotten only one pot but she was nice enough to let me keep them both. If I need to order flowers in the future I'll order from Mugford's! read more

Mugford's has been my go-to florist since moving to Westborough. They have always done an incredible job but when I went by last Friday they were low on flowers due to hurricane Irma. The name of this business should be Chris Cares! I asked for the impossible -- a bouquet duplicating flowers in a photo, delivered in hours. Chris asked me to email the photo while we were still on the phone to be sure she had it, then she asked for a second photo to be sure they knew exactly what I wanted. Chris made me feel like I was her only customer and that she was excited to take care of my order. What business makes you feel that way? And the arrangement? It was above and beyond spectacular. I contacted Chris less than 30 days before my wedding. She was extremely prompt responding to emails, and had very reasonable prices (she created a custom package for us.) All she needed from us was color preference and our favorite flowers. My photographer asked where the flowers were from because she was so impressed, and everyone complimented them. After reading an article on how disappointing rate most on line florists are, I looked for a local florist for Valentine's Day. This was risky as I had to find a florist that would not only deliver roses to my wife on Valentine's. Day but have the arrangement be great. This is my first Yelp review. I had flowers delivered to my wife on Valentines Day. I called a day ahead and picked an arrangement off of their website. The picture showed a nice bouquet of white and red carnations and red roses, $50. It was delivered nice and early on Valentines Day, but I was shocked to see it when she brought it home. The picture on the website showed at least 30 flowers that were visible, and was described as "as shown". What I got was 14 flowers cut to only 10 inches long. Three roses, three pink carnations and the rest, red carnations. Plus they charged me a delivery fee to drop them off 1/4 mile from their shop, and never mentioned any such fee when I ordered. I've been sending flowers to my wife for over 20 years and have never had such a bad experience. read more

She was on time for the delivery the day of the wedding and the centerpieces, my bouquet, display bouquets (escort card table, guest book table) and cake flowers were all GORGEOUS. She fit our color theme perfectly, listened to what I liked and what we would have at the wedding and worked everything together beautifully. We got so many complements on our flowers and I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the blooms she delivered. They were GORGEOUS. We had a mix of garden roses, hydrangeas, carnations, teal succulents and a couple other blooms I don't know the name of. All were fragrant, brightly colored, and very healthy. My son got married recently and they used Mugfords for their big day's floral arrangements. The wedding location was outside (Look Park.) Sadly, it was pouring rain on the wedding day, and so a backup (tented) location was used. Chris arrived to set up, and with a smile and a chuckle said, "The flowers will have to make up for the rain." She made the covered area beautiful with flowers, including adding rose petals for a walkway. As I stood waiting for the bride's arrival, I noticed Chris was helping make sure the bridal gown didn't get wet in the puddles (Chris sweats the details!) Then, moving to California, I always call and order flowers for our family and friends. I have never been disappointed with the service or the arrangements. I was a very different bride. I walked into Chris (the owner) and explained I didn't want flowers but my mom does! It took her a minute to get her jaw off the ground cause she never had met a bride who didn't want flowers. The reason being I was obessed with Manzanita trees, jewels, crystals and bling! Oh, and our wedding was a peacock theme! Somehow they managed to bring it all together!! We had 3 foot tall vases with manzanita trees, feathers, jewels, crystals and hurricane lanterns coming from the top!! She captured my dream and more!!! The girls were carrying flowers with a single candle in it, as we were doing a full candle light ceremony! I couldn't say enough good things about the shoppe, and all the workers that helped out!!
