We had finished our food (and drinks were empty) and we waited a long...looong...looooooonnnng time for our server to return. It was not busy. No idea what she was doing. The burgers were really good today. My fries were good but my husband's were cold. We ordered dessert before we finished our burgers and ended up having to wait 20 minutes for it - after we finished our food. Our server seemed to be in slow motion. I understand the type of restaurant we were at but I do think a dress code would go a long way. Our server was very unkempt. I included pictures of our water glasses. They had cracks running through the plastic and looked like the tops were chewed up. So, today the food was good but the server and the glasses really makes me not want to go back. read more

Went last night because we were looking for some place to watch the game. Got the combo appetizer (we chose fried pickles, cheese wedges, and the mushrooms)- everything was hand breaded and DELICIOUS!!! I then got a bacon cheeseburger and my husband got this monstrosity- their burgers are fantastic, and the buns really make it. Needless to say he couldn't finish it- so we got an extra bun and the next day we BOTH had a cheeseburger for lunch. read more

I stopped at this particular Mugshots Grill & Bar with several clients at the recommendation of one of the clients. The other guys laughed and said this was always the place he recommends. Walking in Mugshots Grill & Bar, I was impressed with the overall ambiance. It is a fun and cool vibe. We were seated at a table and our server was friendly, helpful, and professional. Three out of the four of us got their burgers (our fourth member had a chicken bowl). I have to say that my cheeseburger and my French fries were very good. Everyone in my party was very pleased with their meal and we all enthusiastically tore into our meals. I would definitely recommend a visit to Mugshots Grill & Bar. I would also recommend one of their various burgers. I will give Mugshots Grill & Bar five stars overall for a great lunch experience. read more

The service was great! London was attentive and personable. We dined at 12noon on a Sunday so the place was not packed but somewhat busy. My burger was not fresh and was lukewarm and extremely dry. I feel it was already made and sitting out because the edges of the burger was hard. The flavor was just okay but maybe my fault since there is a garlic patm sauce that comes on the burger and I opted for it on the side. Tasting the sauce seperately, it was very salty in my opinion and I didn't care to add it. I asked for a spicy sauce and that was much better. The bun was the winner on the burger. It was soft and somewhat sweet which paired well with the bacon, mushroom and beef. The middle of the burger was better I just wish it was fresh. Overall this burger was just okay. We've been to a couple other Mugshots in MS and honestly, the others are better. The atmosphere is better in Oxford for sure! The service at this location has always been good though. My wife and I made it here opening weekend to give Mugshots Grill & Bar a try. They are an upcoming chain out of Tupelo, Ms. I must say for opening weekend we absolutely enjoyed the food! It did take a while to get seated (We Expected That) and the kitchen got really backed up. They had to stop seating for about 30 minutes to catch up. It was well worth the wait. The manager didn't loose his cool. Some people were being ugly about the wait (Its Opeing Weekend... lol) He pulled it together. The young lady that took our order did a great job. We got the cheese wedges with marinara sauce to start. They were fantastic! I got the steak burger with beer battered fries. The burger was so big it was almost sinful. It had grilled onions and bell pepper with chopped steak. This was all sitting on top of a hamburger patty. The burger was cooked perfect and ver juicy. My wife had the shrimp pasta. It also was very good. They have so many different choices of specialty hamburgers. I highly recommend checking this place out! Especially if you like the sports bar ambiance. They have a limited mix drink bar but lots of beer choices. The place was very clean. I dont think you will be disappointed. read more

My in-laws have a mild obsession with this place, so while visiting we ended up going. The place is cool. It's like a family friendly sports bar. There were large screen tvs located throughout. Our waitress was super nice, and good at her job. What didn't do it for me:the food. It just kind of screamed overpriced chain restaurant. I got the pow pow shrimp appetizer and they was covered in way too much sauce and not much flavor other than mayonnaise. The mushroom Swiss burger I got was over cooked and came on a weird sweet bun. Just an odd mixture that I personally didn't care for. Sweet potato fries were also just kind of plain. The beer battered fries were pretty legit though. I personally wouldn't go back.
