Appetizer platter with fried pickles, wings and mozzarella sticks
    Wendy O.

Everything was seasoned good. Hamburger steak was good. Mashed potatoes were homemade and had chunks of potatoes. Gravy was delicious.

Bye Felicia- "The Outlaws little sister" 4 wings and 2 Southwest Chicken Egg Rolls. Outlaw has mozzarella sticks and something else also.

I hate to be that guy, but there is no way this is a 5 star place. Let's just be real here. I can let anything below slide if the food is good. It's like if Cousin Eddie opened a place on the inside. I am not hating. I am just saying. Hell, I kind of dig it if I am being honest. It's like a flea market blew up in there in a way. I hope I am painting a good picture for you. I am not going to be a complete asshole and talk too bad about the unfortunate dental situation with the server we had both times, but it's less than ideal to say the least. It has to be painful. Poor thing. I do realize it's Old Towne Olive Branch and you only have places like SSB, OBPC, AIP, and a Sonic to really choose from. Taco truck used to be great, but it's not the same now that it's in the Gin. So it's almost a food desert, C had told the place sucked when she tried it with her Mom when it first opened. I kept telling her that it was getting 5 star reviews over and over. So I convinced her to give it another try. My first, her second, visit was actually promising and I had some pretty high hopes of finding a local place to come grab a meal without driving to Collierville or Memphis. We started with the Eggroll/Wings combo. Forget the name now, but it was funny. The wings were pretty damn good. Fried well. Spicy buffalo was all too common, but good nonetheless. The Eggrolls were ok. Basic Reliance brand type stuff. We both had smoked meats on that visit. I had the ribs, and C had the smoked chicken. My ribs were fantastic! Chicken was good too. Beans were not for me, too sweet and thick. Corn Nugz were fried hard and perfect. I am a sucker for corn nuggets man. Slaw was out of a bucket. Baked potato was hard, cold, and old. Meats were either the star of the show here, or I was extremely high already. I don't remember. They did have Killer Hogs white sauce, even though it had expired unopened. Ugh. My second visit was terrible. Everything sucked. My food, C's food, all disgusting. I am pretty sure that what they are serving is NOT catfish. The Hushpuppies were cold and hard and the corn nuggets were underdone and sucked too. The cheesesteak thing was bad too. Just clumped up nasty. Server said the turnip greens were "great", but they were not. No seasoning to speak of, no meat or fat of any kind, just kind "soulless" if you will. We could not leave fast enough. Then our server disappeared like forever. We went to the front and stood at the registers for close to 10 minutes before another server comes and lets us pay for the food we did not eat. Two stars for the smoked meats. Won't be back though. Have fun in OB. Pack a sack lunch. '25 99/111

It was a great experience: comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, good good, reasonable pricing for a sit down restaurant

A delicious bun to surround an even better cheeseburger.

So we drove into old towne, and found this place. Went it, buffet was cheap, $4.99 I think. People, there's a reason why. Where shall I start - Salad portion, 1 lettuce, in 2 different bowls, but, same lettuce, minimal items to put on the salad - celery was brown in one bowl, green in another, I went for the green version. Passed on the cucumbers, cut in quarters, they were multi color as they had turned mushy near the rind and in toward the center. Meats, well, & this is true, I'm not kidding, I starred at them, what I think were the meats, but had to ask the counter guy what were the meats as I couldn't tell by looking at them. ps, there were maybe 4 other people in here at lunch. He said pork chops, OK, I could see those in the gravy, meat loaf, well, I saw something with red sauce on it, but, pushing back the red sauce, that was not ground beef under it, maybe cabbage? Whatever, it was not meatloaf. And finally, BBQ.... well, I guess that was the shredded stuff with so much sauce on it, I thought it was sloppy joes. So, I tried that, but could only eat 1 bite. Although he did not say ham was one of the meat items, I swear there was a shredded ham dish (in the veggie section). It was the only 'meat' item I could eat more than 1 bite of, but my associate took 1 bite of it and could not eat any more. Veggies, there were several, I could see they were lima beans, and brown beans, for example, but could taste no difference in either. Way... way.... way.... way.... too many items on the buffet. Folks, go for Quality, not Quantity. No clue how this place stays in business. On the way back to the office, we asked ourselves: What days were the food we just ate actually cooked???

The menu is the perfect size -- not overwhelming -- and everything is priced fairly for the quality you're getting. You can truly tell the food is made fresh. I started with two sides: the crawfish étouffée balls and the Zydeco shrimp. The étouffée balls were made in-house and packed with amazing flavor. The flash-fried shrimp had the perfect amount of crispiness and paired perfectly with that delicious Zydeco sauce they were coated in. After almost getting full from the appetizers alone, I still had to try the catfish Po'Boy -- and wow, that French bread was some of the freshest I've had! The catfish was seasoned perfectly, and the whole sandwich paired great with their homestyle fries. I highly recommend stopping by 2 Crazy Fellas. I order the fried catfish which had no flavor or taste at all , the cabbage was just okay, and the Mac and Cheese was not good either. The meatloaf was cold, but they did say they enjoyed the candies yams, but they still said they would never come back because the food is no longer good or freshly prepared here. But back to my food poisoning situation, around 3:30pm I had stomach cramps so I knew something was wrong ( unfortunately I was the only one had the fish and tartar sauce so it had to be one or the other) and I didn't have anything else to eat that day . But later that afternoon I started vomiting and kept going to the bathroom and here it is the next day and I'm still having stomach pains. I should have know when I entered that know one was inside and they said this place used to be packed for lunch. But unfortunately I will never return here or recommend anyone else to go here for soul food.
