I visited this restaurant today with guests from out of town, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, which I understand can happen. However, our waitress became visibly frustrated, repeatedly cut me off while I was speaking, told our table, "Look, we're doing the best we can," in an aggressive tone, and even slammed our food onto the table when no one had complained to her. It was weird. After waiting over an hour for our drinks that we ordered before giving our food order even after our food had been served and we had finished eating our meal, I asked the waitress to cancel all of our drinks and shots. Her response was simply, "Perfect." As a business owner for more than 25 years, I know staffing challenges are real. But customer service and professionalism should never suffer because of them. I'm sure the owners would be disappointed to know they not only lost over $70 in beverage sales from our table alone, but also left a poor impression on guests who were visiting from out of town. However there was a sweet older white waitress in there whose name was Karen but definitely not a Karen, who was so attentive, caring and proactive. She's a keeper. read more

This place is mid from the food to the service. The only thing that was convenient was how close it was to the hotel. The first night, the closed an hour earlier than the hours listed which was a bummer because we came for food and couldn't order. The second night, our group got there about 10 minutes until the kitchen closed. We did our best to get orders in as we have all worked in restaurants and know the drill but our waiter told us blatantly that the food probably wouldn't be good which was pretty insane. He vanished and didn't bring back drinks. When we asked for another server so we could get waters and beers we ordered, she explained that it was busy and which would've been fair if we weren't watching our server just flirt and chat with another table. The food runner was this places saving grace for the night. She was extremely kind and the only person who offered any real customer service. The food itself was okay. Nothing I would really recommend going out of your way to eat. Pretty bland and boring. read more

They are open on Sat for lunch/brunch which not many places open on S. Main. The building and the vibe inside is good. We got there around noon and there were a few people at the bar and maybe 1 or 2 tables seated. They told us to seat ourselves so we sat down. Parking-good luck! Seriously there's no dedicated parking so if you can't find street parking you will need to pay to park. We found a lot that wasn't a bad walk. We sat ourselves BUT our hostess was GREAT! Amazing dedication and kindness being as busy as she was. If this review was just based on her they would have 5 stars. The food was okay. I've been to the Midtown location and it made me want to go back. We had the mixed sliders. I did the shrimp. Honestly wasn't sure it was shrimp due to being fried extra hard and dark. My fries were slightly brown as well. My other two sliders were decent but nothing like I had in Midtown. We did have the spinach and artichoke dip and it was good. My husband said his meal was okay. I did like how the inside was open and bright and I actually enjoyed the music. It was a little loud but I didn't have a problem since the music selection was on point. Would I go back? This was a terrible experience. A large party of us came for lunch. We came in around 11:45am on July 17,2026 and were almost the only party in the building. We ordered drinks and it was great until it was another 30 minutes until we placed our order. At that point multiple other lunch tables had arrived. It took almost 1.5 hours to receive food and was being understanding until a waitress came out with a large fry no one ordered and slammed it on the table. To the point another party made a comment to us. As well as the waitresses pointing and blaming our party to other tables on why their food was not out because they now needed to go boxes for their food before it was brought out. Afterward someone in our party never received her fry with meal. we asked for the fry never received to be taken off the check. Our waitress when to the manager working at the bar and talked to him and we over heard him saying our party is "f***ing stupid". After speaking with the manger we got the fry situation resolved. As well as we witnessed a waitress pulling a vape from her bra and hitting in inside the bar area in-front of other customers. Overall a bad experience and safe to say no one from our 12 top will come back to this establishment. read more

Now to the food: I came for lunch and had the lobster bisque, Shack Salad, and a side of homemade potato salad. All was delicious; salad was fresh, the potato salad yummy in its simplicity (it needed salt and pepper), and the bisque amazing. The server was friendly and said Friday nights they serve fresh fish tacos, along with other Daily Specials during the week. I'm coming back to try their lobster roll (Maine lobster delivered 3x a week). Server said mkt price is $32 at this time. Slider Inn does the best sliders, of course! I recommend going for brunch on the weekend so you can get the Hangover sliders. They have hashbrowns, chorizo, guacamole, spicy mayo, and they're perfect. I also had the classic Memphis sliders and they were simply delicious. Slider Inn is known for their Jameson slushies, if that's your thing. There is limited street parking so you may have to pay for parking nearby. I work nearby and decided to stop by for lunch. My wife met me there. I had a mush and Swiss slider (3count) and 6 count buffalo wings. My wife ordered the nachos. The food was descent for a quick afternoon lunch, however when I got the check, I noticed that the gratuity of 20% was added to the bill. This is not a problem. The check clearly states that "all dine in checks have an automatic 20% gratuity". The issue I have is that an additional 20% gratuity was added to the bill unknowingly to me. Each time I go, I get the mix and match slider combo with shoestring fries. The 3 I get are the Memphis (angus beef), buffalo chicken and the rib. The meat on them all are cooked and season to my liking. Another thing I am obsessed with from the, is the bread pudding! Oh Em Gee! It is not your average bread pudding. It is fried and it comes in cube chunks. It is topped with cinnamon sugar & homemade caramel. You can also get a scoop of ice cream on top! Some other things I have tried are the wings. I normally get them wet, but you can choose the dry rub option. They are an appetizer and they come in orders of 6. I also tried the spinach dip. The Slider Inn was an excellent choice. I joined for a private event and loved the fact that we had access to the entire patio and separate bar area. The restaurant had a pretty cool layout to it and the manager took the time to explain the history of the building, the extensions made and some information about the owner. The entire staff was just so pleasant! We were able to enjoy guacamole and chips, spinach dip, and some super awesome Reuben and Cuban eggrolls. I also tried the shrimp po boys w/ fries and they were good too. (I'm pretty sure that was the first time I'd ever tried a shrimp po-boy SLIDER!) I always enjoy coming here but don't do it often enough. The patio was pretty full when we got here. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was very relaxed and upbeat. Today our waitress was Olivia and she was wonderful. She was also bartending by herself on the patio. Olivia was up peppy and very attentive. She even warned us that the melty marys would take a while because of the burger on top. I truly can't say enough good things about her. I would definitely go here again. It's a nice little place with great food and what appeared to be a pretty impressive bar. The this pork is a jerk slider was awesome. And so was basically everything else I had. The only thing that wasn't up to par for me was their lemonade. Both my coworkers seemed to really enjoy themselves. We were debating where to eat, so I finally interjected and suggested this place. They're claim to fame: Jamison slushies. There is a wall of empty bottles, that definitely makes for cool decor. When we went it was actually the brunch menu, so the items were slightly varied. All their slider plates come as 3 individual burgers. Personally I think the way to go is getting the make your own plate so you can choose 3 different sliders. I got the blt&e, the buffalo chicken, and the Memphis. All were pretty good but the buffalo chicken was my personal fav. I got hash browns as a side, and they would have tasted good if they weren't on the verge of being too cold. Good food, for sure. If I was a local I'd eat here again. Personally, I like the midtown location a bit more--same great food just in a more divey setting. read more
