When I confronted Marcela about the fact that she likely never used the Ybera Paris products I paid for, she blocked my number completely. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also dishonest and deceptive. Bella Donna Hair salon is promoting and charging for premium products they are NOT using, which is outright fraud and a breach of trust. I tried to resolve this amicably, but after being ignored and then blocked, I'm left no choice but to take legal action. I am now filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and the official Ybera Paris distributors to expose this scam and protect other clients from being ripped off. DO NOT trust this salon if you want honest service and real results. Beware. Make sure they mix everything in front of you!!! Tell them you want to see the product!

When I learned that there are people who know how to cut curly hair, I looked for someone in this field and found someone in my area. I was incredibly fortunate that I found Christina, who somehow sees my mess of hair as a potential cascade of curls. She really sees my hair in its best light - before it's cut!!! Now, I just wet my hair and I see ringlets everywhere. I never got a haircut that lets my hair's natural curl easily do its thing! There is no setting a style - she cuts it in a way that my hair can just be, and I appreciate the curls. Beyond enjoying that relaxing, soothing head massage/shampoo/conditioner session in the spa-like room, and getting excellent haircuts, I love the casual talk and easy laughs. I consistently have a good time there and leave feeling great. Even my husband, who hasn't let anyone touch his long hair in years, noticed that, so he sits in Christina's chair every few months! I've spoken to Maggie, who proudly told me that Christina and her team continue to get education and inspiration to grow. She puts good things out and her shop continues that. I feel it when I'm there and I'm so glad.

Inside was cool, quiet and beautifully designed. A nice change from some other salons I have been to. I had a recent vacation coming up and opted to get my nails done by getting a gel manicure. I booked an appointment around 6 PM for the next morning, had an unexpected situation come up, and canceled at 7 AM when they opened. They charged me $150. Their website says 12 hours in one place and 24 hours in another, so apparently I also needed a time machine. I left a Google review, then still called twice trying to resolve it. No return calls. Instead, I got an email and a public response accusing me of "purposely trying to harm the business." Since they prefer responding to reviews instead of returning phone calls, here I am on Yelp. The funniest part? After all that determination to keep the $150, I now have to dispute the charge, so they may not even get to keep it.

He understands Asian hair and how to lift it to a beautiful blond without looking brassy. I have bounced around to different Fort Lauderdale salons after moving here 5 years ago and couldn't quite find a perfect fit with the dozen or so places I have tried out. I wanted an easy low maintenance blond (yes I know, no such thing with blond), and Tomy came through. I came in with three layers of color- dark roots about 2 inches long, bleached muddy blond through the middle and orange ends. It was a disaster grow out. I had a consult with Markie for blonde highlights and to blend in my roots but since Markie couldn't do highlights at the moment, she deferred me to Tomy. I didn't know I was in for a treat. I showed Tomy pics of what I wanted and he insisted that the color I wanted would wash me out and that I would not be happy with the maintenance since I wanted low maintenance. Initially, I was disheartened but I can appreciate his honesty and after he explained what he thought would work better for me yet achieve something close to what I was looking for. I thought I came in for a consult but he worked me in between his clients so that he could show me what he could achieve yet still make me happy. Mind you, the salon was super busy but the man is a multitasking genius! He did a toner and root scrape while Markie did my haircut and Yasleen did my blowout. Did I mention that my color was a disaster? Well, 2 hours later, what was flat and orange and 3 different colors was now bright, golden and well blended. My dark roots melted into the blond so seamlessly, you would think Michelangelo painted it himself. I absolutely love the results!
