When I arrived for my appoitnment I was quickly seated and offered water, which was very nice especially with the summer heat. Inside was cool, quiet and beautifully designed. A nice change from some other salons I have been to. I had a recent vacation coming up and opted to get my nails done by getting a gel manicure. The nail tech I had was very kind and helpful when doing my nails for the specific design I wanted. My nails were done with care and were done within the hour. I went a 10 days ago and at first they looked great the first week I got a acrylic set and gel toes done for about $160 + $20 tip. While I was getting my toes done Farah my nail tech started pulling out my ingrown toe nail and she really hurt me and she kept going even after I told her it hurt and she told me almost done or whatever now a week later I have a literal toe infection that I had to go to urgent care for to get on antibiotics. I've been testing out different places doing gel X nails. Gave it a try here based on reviews. It's a no go. They were very polite, but the actual work is awful. Super chunky and uneven. There was glue everywhere. Then told to brush it off....like, what? Brush my skin to remove gel paint? My Tech, Farrah, started rushing when her regular appointment came in. It shows on my left hand. Initially the corners were missed, so I pointed it out. Another tech had to use the drill to help clean off the glue, as well as acetone. Again, they were polite...but the work is sub par (at least for today). $70 for nails, $10 for a soak off, plus a tip. I don't expect perfection, but this was underwhelming. read more

When I walked in here, I was impressed with how many customers there were on a Monday morning. I would think this is a very slow time for many salons. Not here. There were several ladies getting their nails done, including a cute little girl. I thought this was a sign this was a quality salon. I received a wonderful manicure and pedicure here. Farrah is a fantastic nail tech. She is totally focused and made my nails look so nice and healthy. She is awesome. It took me a while just to pick my color because there are SO many to choose from. Love that. This salon does hair, nails, waxing and maybe even more services. They have a bar with a LOT of wine choices and even Grey Goose. I like how this salon was immaculately clean. (Is immaculately a word?? Anyway, that is really important to me. I was surprised at one female doing nails here. She was super loud and would make a Sailor blush with her language. I am VERY glad Farrah was the one to do my nails. I don't think I would have stayed if this one was the person to do my nails. She made for an awkward environment in the manicure area. Her customer did not speak very much at all. We were not even that close to her and I could hear this nail tech very loud and clear. This interfered with me being able to fully enjoy my manicure. Every other sentence was littered with foul language. It felt like I was at a seedy bar. I don't get my nails done very often because I have a busy schedule, so I really appreciate when I am able to take time to treat myself. Tina was horrible I asked for pink and white which is powder for both white and pink But she kept saying she was going to put the white powder later which I found weird. Then she's like no I'm going to paint the white which I requested v shape.. look at the photo. My daughter and I came here to get Manis/pedis. It was both of our first times here. The salon is clean and big. They also have a well stocked bar. My nail technician never said her name but she did excellent work. They have more colors of polish than I have ever seen. The experience was great. Until we had our manicures done. Both of the gals who did our nails were very sweet, professional and even gave some useful advice. The issue was a different nail technician. I am really, really surprised this person was hired. She spoke extremely loud complaining about various things. Worse, she cursed over and over and over. Not once or twice. I would say 10 times. Now it is not as if I never say a curse word, but how embarrassing to do this at work. This was in front of several customers besides us. She was very loud. Even the ladies doing our nails gave us knowing looks. It was awkward. Hopefully Management knows who I am referring to. I am sure they do because the other nail techs seemed pleasant as well. I LOVE this place!! So clean when you first walk in. I set up an appointment with Farrah in the am and because of the rain was able to get an appointment that afternoon. She took her time and she helped me decide on what shape I wanted my nails. She saw the colors I picked out and with out a doubt loved the combination. I originally came to this salon to follow my nail tech, Chip. Chip moved to another state. Can't follow her anymore! LOL I started going to Candy. She not only takes care of me but she also takes care of my daughter n law and my granddaughter. We all love her. Her nail art is amazing. Whatever you want she can pretty much do. Definitely worth giving this place a try! But make sure you do some homework and ask for a specific tech who has lots of good reviews (true anywhere). The place is very cute, and I was greeted by a very friendly and attentive woman (not sure if she was hostess, bartender, or owner, but she did it all and she was on top of it!) Good selection of colors and prices are displayed in several places so love the transparency in what you get! Also pretty reasonable. The biggest draw to this place is they have a bar and you can order a lychee mimosa, or wine or champagne while you self care, and they offer lots or services, not just nails. Wifi login is also displayed everywhere but it wasn't working for me. However I was able to connect to xfinity :) My first tech, Lien, was awesome. Very sweet and asked me what I wanted along the way. She noted that the glitter can be transparent sometimes and tried it before putting it on, and asked if I wanted a milky white base under it. Came out cute I think!! However I had to swap techs just after Lien had started my nails because of understaffing. The second tech (I won't name names but do your research) did not ask what I wanted at all and just started doing my nails while looking at her sons haircut on their ring camera at home. That's totally fine, some people can multitask like that and work life balance is everything, but I would not say she was paying attention. She gave me very short nails the same length as my stubby nails that they further trimmed, and was about to start painting when I realized she wasn't going to give me the acrylic tips. When I came in, I told the hostess and first tech I wanted acrylic nails, short square and a little tapered; this tech told me she was told I wanted an "overlay" and continued to explain to me that an overlay does not add any length, though that was never what I asked for. Not to mention most of have no idea what we're talking about because we didn't go to school for this and that's why we bring pictures A good tech asks questions as they go - like is this a good length, would you like to go shorter? How is the shape? Etc but this tech just didn't ask any questions. I will admit I could have considered before she started doing my nails that she might not know what I came in looking for and showed her a photo or clarified that she understood what length or shape I wanted. So at that point I asked if she could remove the overlay and just not do the polish, because she told me it was too late to add the length I came in for. She was upset and either grunted in reply or briefly fake smiled the rest of the time, but she ended up adding length. I was too scared to upset her more after that, so when she never asked if I liked the length and didn't check that the lengths on both hands were even, I didn't speak up anymore and just made up my mind to accept the final product. So now that she fixed it technically I got what I wanted, but they are chunky and untapered and it felt really rushed; and the nails on each hand do not match in length. They're not awful but they're far from the best acrylic mani I've ever gotten. Other techs however were awesome, as was the space clean and cute and everyone I met friendly and welcoming! Will probably give them another try if in the area but will ask for a different tech with great reviews or pictures. Drinks are very affordable and the lychee mimosa is delicious! Something about a glass of wine makes the experience feel more pampering. read more
