Been here twice. Will not go again. The experience started off good, walked in on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately taken in. The massage itself was okay, not terrible, but nothing to rave about. The problems started when I was paying for the services. The establishment charges a 5% premium to pay by credit or debit and strongly encourages payment in cash. The $65.00 service was now $68.25 which still is not too bad a price for a massage. I wrote in a $10.00 tip, for a mediocre massage which I thought was fair. As I was getting into my car, the masseuse came running out, motioning me to go back in. I walked back to the establishment thinking I had left something such as my phone, but the masseuse kept on saying "tip", "tip". I assured her I tipped her $10.00 but she was adamant that I go back in. When I went back to the desk, the desk guy asked me about the tip and he handed me the receipt I had signed moments before. I pointed to the "tip" line and he shook his head and said "20%". He said something about this not being a restaurant but I couldn't really understand him not because of his heavy accent, but I was concentrating, trying to calculate 20% of $68.25. With his continuous talking and my poor math skills, I finally gave up trying to be the human calculator and pointed to the tip line and said, "Ten dollars." I'm perplexed by this type of business practice, a surcharge of 5% for all credit/debit transactions and workers bringing you back in for more tip does not create an environment one would want to experience again. I have been to this place probably 6 or 7 times over the last few years and I want to to better at telling people when they do a good job, Yelp wasn't made for just complaints it was made for compliments as well. Every time I've come I have had a professional experience and have left feeling better than I came. There prices are amazing. I work hard and I don't make the kind of money most Bellevue residents make but I work in the service industry and when someone spends 90 minutes helping my body function better using there own muscles, I try to tip well and compliment when I can and when they deserve it, it makes it easy. I am so appreciative of this place, I experience a lot of pain and having been sober 8 years I have to find other avenues to help release built up tension in my body. I have gotten an amazing massage here every single time and todays was by far the best. By FAR! Honestly it was like she could feel all the places causing me the most pain, she was absolutely incredible. Her name was Angel I think. I went in very spontaneously tonight at almost 10 pm. Thought this place closes at 11 pm, but it is actually 10 pm. They were very kind and still took me in. I have not had massage for a couple months and felt I had 1000 knots in my muscles especially around my shoulders. Surprised to know that $30 foot massage includes head, face, shoulders and back as well. I decided to try that. Jason came in and started working on my head, arms then move on to my feet and back. Man, it was the best massage I have ever had in a long time. At the end of the routines, all the knots in my muscles are gone. I went there for a body massage 2 days ago. After returning from the massage I am having so much pain in my shoulder and back- where the lady was pressing during the massage! She did it very hard! I asked her to do it lightly, but after a minute or so she went back to her super firm massaging. There is no question of me going back there! This pain is killing me. And instead of buying relaxation, I bought all these pain with the $50+$10(tip) I paid there. I don't think these people are even trained or so. Horrible experience!! read more

My wife and I have been coming here for years. The foot massage is super relaxing and enjoyable. How can you beat an hour massage for $30? On the downside, from time to time it didn't smell super fresh inside, but they do a good job. This is not a place to find the most experienced asian massage techniques, it's a place for a decent "work out the knots" massage. I do recommend Mu Lan. I went here yesterday just to try it out. I had a body massage for 50 mins which cost $50. The massage was okay, I've had better. The private room looks clean. There is definitely a language barrier but it was fine. The only thing I didn't like and the reason why in a million years I will never go back to this place was the guy in the front desk (probably the owner, who knows and I don't care) was forcing me to tip 50% for the service and telling me how it was such a hard job and that restaurants were doing 20% and I should tip more than 10%. Like really?! who are you to tell me on how much tip I should give?!!! I went to this place because I like to support local businesses but I guess I won't be supporting this one. Hell to the NO! Then, if you use your debit/credit card you would be charge $2.50. GREEDY enough!. I work in health care, just to emphasize, with very sick people and I don't get a tip or even my colleagues for the hard job we do. So him telling me how much to tip is beyond me. This is my new favorite massage place! They have really reasonable prices. Large facility with lots of masseuses. Which means they have lots of availability. I love the option of a chair massage too. Best part is they are open until midnight! Strangely this area is very busy at night. This is basic massage place, dont expect to be asked if you would like deep tissue, swedish, hot stone and all of that. The rooms are tiny but very clean with minimal light. I have been here few times and somehow feel the females give better massage. Ask for leela/leena if you want something similar to deep tissue. Not bad for the price. :) read more

I came here with my cousin and my sister and it was all of our first time getting a massage. We got a full body massage for an hour for $30 (but mention that you're a first time customer, and get 10% off, so only $27!) My experience was amazing, I have no complaints. My masseur knew right where I had kinks and where I was tense without asking me, so he really contoured the massage to where I really needed it most. He also asked me if i was okay the whole time, and if i would like my massage hard or soft. I was nervous about my experience walking in but they were very accommodating! Im taking off one star because when it came time to pay, the receptionist asked us if we wanted to add on more tip, more than what we already gave (because they split the tip amongst 3 masseur, and we didn't know that) but that miscommunication right after a relaxing massage really threw me off. Which apparently means nothing because when I got there I was told that they were booked and they don't use their website. They didn't have another available appointment for almost two more hours. I have been a junkie for the inexpensive foot massages for a number of years. After a bad experience (somewhere else!) I made it my mission to find the best one in my extended neighborhood, which has taken me to four or five places in the Bellevue/Redmond area. This is the one I settled on, and I've been here a lot--I've filled up numerous punch cards--in the last 3 years. They charge $30 for the basic "foot massage" which really is about 15 minutes on head, neck and arms, 15 minutes per foot and calf, and 15 minutes on the back. While you can find a place that does a similar massage for $25, it is worth the extra $5 for the professional service and more upscale atmosphere. All of the masseuses are trained in the exact same style of massage so it doesn't really matter who you get, except that you can ask them to go with a lighter touch if you like. read more

Worst experience and massage. What is sad is they used to be my wife and I's favorite place. It started out by getting turned away because we did not have an appointment. Which was a first after years of coming here. So we made an appointment for the next day. When we showed up they said they did not have us down for the time. I then looked down and pointed to our name and time that was written down. I said that was us. He said oh and then told me and my wife to follow him. He sat us down and then him and another guy. Started in on us even after I told him that I had scheduled a female. He said he had no female. Then, as he continued, he kept leaving me to answer the phone and do other receptionist tasks and greet people coming in. He even brought the phone over and was one handing me while talking on the phone. Who does this? I will tell you, people who just don't give a damn. Worst ever experience. Don't go, you will regret. They have a 1hr Foot Reflexology for $30 which is more than sufficient, but it gets very difficult for us to stop having the greed of getting a much longer massage. I have been four times now and the foot reflexology massages are pretty good. However, the noise level at the desk and the loud phone ringing which also announces to the entire room who is calling is not at all relaxing. My main complaint though is with the young woman at the desk the last time I went. She demanded I leave a tip and when I finally figured out what she was saying I told her I had already left a generous tip. She had been there once before but this was my first time. Wow! Great massage for both of us. She said the man who did her massage was really hitting all the right spots.
