I should have known better, but she obviously told me to start coming to her. " no no don't go to laser. It won't help you, come see me " Flash forward 6 months and $2,500 later and I had ZERO results. I went to her religiously every week for 30-60 minutes. She stuck her needle into me and then I think she just plucked the hairs out. She wasn't getting the base of the hairs and also it hurt a LOT. I went to another electrolysis person in Massachusetts actually, because I come here for work every month and WOW was it different. Nikki's machine is old and her technique is dangerous. The Massachusetts electrolysis lady also said I'm a perfect candidate to continue laser hair!!! So Nikki lied to me for her own self interest Yes dangerous. I have scars all over my upper lip from her improperly shoving her needle into it. I went to my dermatologist and she recommended micro needling to fix the scars, which is VERY expensive. I spent 20 minutes telling Liane Lindo I wanted a natural look with some movement, especially in my forehead. She said I needed way more, but I talked her down. She finally said $750 was the absolute minimum because it included my neck. I agreed, trusting her judgment. Now my forehead is completely frozen and sits way too low, making my eyes look smaller -- which is frustrating because I even said, "Botox can open or close your eyes depending on who does it." Clearly, this had the opposite effect. I also have a weird circular swelling under my eyes, which I believe is from Botox being injected too low in the tear trough. I asked about it during the appointment and was told it was for wrinkles -- but the result is clearly not right. They were nice in person, but I've texted and called several times with no response. I honestly can't imagine how bad it would have been if I had agreed to the higher amount she first suggested.

This salon was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I have ever had…read more I usually go to Portfolio or Avantgarde in Coral Gables, where I have always received excellent service from true experts in blonde coloring. However, since I live in Aventura, I decided to give RH Hair Salon a try. The salon is marketed as a high-end establishment with predominantly good reviews, and I hoped to avoid the long drive to Coral Gables and the heavy traffic. When I called to make my appointment, I specifically asked whether the salon had experienced colorists who specialize in blonde hair. The receptionist assured me that they did, which was an important factor in my decision to book the appointment. Unfortunately, the experience started poorly. The music was blasting so loudly that it was extremely difficult to have a conversation with the stylist. The manager briefly stopped by and explained that this was the "RH Vibe" and, instead of addressing the excessive noise, offered champagne and lowered the music just a tiny bit. Because of the noise, I ultimately showed the stylist the blonde color I already had in my own hair and explained that I simply wanted the grown-out areas highlighted to match. She confirmed that she could perform the requested service. I understand that highlighting my hair can take several hours, as it has always been a lengthy process for me. However, after approximately six hours, the salon was getting ready to close. At that point, the cashier came over and asked me to pay because she was closing the register. This was a BIG mistake on my part, because I had not even seen the final result of the service. I paid $480 for what was supposed to be half a head of blonde highlights. At my usual salons in Coral Gables, I have never been asked to pay before the service was completely finished and I had seen the final result. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was nothing like what I had requested. Instead of blonde highlights, my hair was left with an unattractive brown color. There was a significant amount of bleach used, yet the result was still brown rather than blonde, and there were essentially no proper blonde highlights. I specifically chose this salon because I was told they had experienced blonde colorists, and I paid $480 expecting a professional, high-end result. The outcome was extremely disappointing and far from what I requested. Based on this experience, I will definitely be returning to the professionals I trust in Coral Gables.
