I write this review reluctantly, because I have had some positive experiences at Edina Mulberry's, and the people are friendly. But be warned: if you have fine, expensive garments and Mulberry's ruins them, they WILL NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY OR STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK PRODUCT. Long story short: I dropped off a Summer 2025 men's rayon shirt back in August that I bought at Nordstrom in late spring for $219.00. I have worn the shirt exactly two times, to two dinner events, for a total wear time of probably 6 hours. Both times, as I always do, I requested when I dropped off my cleaning that my rayon shirts be dry cleaned, not laundered, because laundering can abrade the yarn texture of rayon. The first time, I dropped it off at Mulberry's and everything was perfect. The second time, however, the shirt came back badly mangled. There were discolorations and abrasions across the front and back of the shirt; it had been badly pressed and the collar was misshapen; and the colors had transferred badly, so that what used to be white had turned a dirty, ugly grey. When I brought this up to the manager, I was given a weeks-long run-around of avoided calls and long delays that finally terminated, in November, with a long winded report claiming that the manufacturer of the garment, not Mulberry's, is responsible for damaging the garment because their care label was incorrect! I worked in the garment industry in NY and LA for more than a decade, at Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and several other well known brands, and I know what I am taking about when I am evaluating a garment: This shirt was badly mangled by a garment care team that not only does not understand fine textiles, but that also DOES NOT LISTEN to customers' own directions and preferences about their garments. Then, to make matters worse, Mulberry's obfuscates their accountability with a long-winded technical report that has obviously been engineered to manipulate me into believing that a leading menswear designer is responsible for Mulberry's incompetence. The Edina store manager offered to let me come by and pick my shirt up, but it's completely unwearable, I therefore have no need for it, and I will never enter another Mulberry's facility again. If you don't want to find yourselves in a similar situation, I recommend that you take your garments elsewhere. read more

Mulberry's provides the best dry cleaning services I have seen in a long time. What sets them apart from others is the free pickup and delivery for your order, they just text or email when they are in the neighborhood! You can also schedule one too! Another pro is their hangers, they do not use wire hangers and use nice wood ones that I send back with my order and can reuse! They have amazing range of options and services they provide, I even had a blankets cleaned there and it hasn't been that fluffy since I purchased it!! 10/10 recommend! On the plus side their manager at the Edina location was a gem of a human and took amazing care of us!! read more

My mom always brought her items to Mulberrys, and when she passed away and I was able to snuggle into her heirloom Irish sweaters, I knew exactly where to go. Jason is always there with a smile on his face, even early in the morning. He handles my items with care, never rushes me out the door, and always helps to make sure I'm using whichever is the best coupon available on my account. I moved out of the neighborhood, but the quality of service and the fantastic customer attention from Jason and the entire staff at this store are why I drive back :) read more

Update: it's been 4 months and the problem still isn't resolved. Every time I call lately they say a manager isn't in so they'll leave a note to have them call me in the morning, but no one ever calls. I just want my belt back; it has to be there somewhere. But now I feel like they're avoiding me and I don't know what to do. This was a $630.00 order. I paid them $630 (it was supposed to be less but they didn't honor my discount). I hate being the annoying angry customer but this is insane treatment for ANY customer let alone someone who has spent $1,000+ in just two orders with them. I've only been in twice and you lost multiple items AND overcharged me AND avoid returning my calls? Con artists. read more

Brides, beware! I always thought Mulberrys was a cut above the rest. I thought they were a business that truly cared about their customers and held themselves to a higher standard. Turns out that's all just clever marketing, at their core all that matters is the bottom line. Don't bother paying more for the perceived level of service and care, it's all a sham. I wouldn't trust them with your wedding dress, or anything else of sentimental or monetary value. Here is my story.... I was married in August. I wore a designer silk gown which I took in the very next day in hopes to keep it in pristine shape. A few weeks later, when I got the dress back, I was absolutely horrified by its condition. The shine, color, texture, and drape were totally different. The dress had lost all its volume and crisp drape. The weave of the fabric had opened up and there were small tears. It looked terrible and nearly unrecognizable. A claim was immediately filed and Mulberrys looked into what happened, which to my disappointment took weeks and weeks. Members of the Mulberrys team were in touch every so often, but never with much information, never much empathy, and never any reassurance that I was going to be taken care of. After a couple months of investigating and eventually sending the dress to an "independent" lab, Mulberrys concluded that damage was only in "local areas" and caused solely by "consumer wear." The finger was being turned back on me and I couldn't believe it. How could that be? I spoke with the owner, Lisa Brooks, on the phone and we discussed the whole situation in detail but we couldn't come to an agreement. I didn't even get any sort of apology for what happened. It felt like total gaslighting - Mulberrys was trying to twist the whole situation and convince me that the damage was localized and all caused with normal wear. Absurd! How could normal ware cause such damage? I don't think you need to be an expert to see that Mulberrys' conclusion was unfounded. The photos speak for themselves. I did receive a refund for the cleaning fee, but I wasn't satisfied, so I took the case to small claims court. The trial was a few weeks ago. I lost the case due to the fact that I signed a waiver. This was frustrating because I never got a copy of this paperwork, and Mulberrys must have lost it because my signed copy wasn't even submitted as evidence. Their only evidence was a video of me filling out some paperwork in the store. Although disappointing, I'm also understanding and at peace with the judge's decision. In the end, it was worth the effort to give the case a try and have my day in court because the judge was able to validate my perspective. She grilled Mulberrys and was shocked by the before and after photos of the dress. She understood that the head to toe damage of the dress couldn't possibly have been from consumer wear. She clearly saw the Mulberrys did something terribly wrong, it was plain to see. A few other notable takeaways from the trial - Mulberrys said that wedding dresses are only meant for single use, and that custom made, silk dresses should not be dry cleaned. Hmm - then why would anyone bother paying for specialty wedding dress cleaning? Isn't that the whole point? They also outsource the work to a third party (Don's Leather Cleaning) so wedding dresses aren't even done in house. This contradicts everything they write on their website about the careful attention they take when cleaning wedding dresses. In the end, I really wish Mulberrys would have just shown some empathy and given me a sincere apology. With all of their touting of customer satisfaction and their boasting of the extreme care needed to clean wedding dresses, I didn't expect them to fall back on the legalese of a waiver. I figured they had higher standards and that they would protect their customers. The whole situation was extremely emotional. Long time customer, now getting the cold shoulder when missing a pair of pants. Leading up to this, there have been some small issues with my orders. Most every time Mulberry's made things right. Despite the irritation and delay, Mulberry's service cam through. However, I am now missing pants and have spoken to the store employee who hasn't been much help. Her being new, I seemed to understand or accept that this may be beyond her. I therefore completed the follow up questioner, confirming my experience, and also have emailed a few times, never to be contacted. This customer service is disappointing to say the least. I have to imagine the pants are lost for good. Although this is frustrating and I'd like some retribution, ignoring customers (who in this case, spend hundreds of dollars each month) appears to be the real crime. I left my previous dry cleaning over similar service issues, including not taking reasonability, and it looks as if I now must find another. Bring Back Anderson Cleaners!!! read more

Sad to say but I would never use Mulberrys for high end tailoring. They ruined my husbands Tom Ford tuxedo pants and won't respond or replace the expensive pants they f up. Go somewhere else. I have been a loyal customer since the doors opened because I liked the chemical free dry cleaning. I have emailed Mr Dan Miller but he's too busy to respond. How can you be a "business rock star" when you trash some ones Christmas gift? This shop lied to me, and to the Minnesota Attorney general's office no less. I complained about their damaging my jacket by melting the lining when they attached a tag without my permission. (They will try to tell you that is standard practice - no, it is not. I've had dry cleaning done for thirty years and no one else has ever permanently modified a piece of clothing without my permission.) Their defense of permanently changing my garment , and damaging it in the process, was there is a note about the attachment of tags on their website. I came in IN PERSON to drop off the garment. I never went to the website. I was never told they wanted to take that step, nor given a choice about it. That defense is akin to saying 'we buried a note in the backyard notifying you about it so tough luck if you didn't dig up the back yard and find it.' Notification only counts if the consumer can reasonably be assured of getting it. That is why hospitals make you sign when you get notices. When I went back and ask for relief for my damaged coat, they insisted they would take the tag off. After melting my jacket without my permission? No thanks. I wanted someone I trusted to do that work. Finally, after much haggling, I was told I could get reimbursed by their manager if I brought in a quote for a new lining done elsewhere. I did so, and they refused to honor what their manager had promised. They videotape the lobby. I asked that they replay to tape to prove the managers's promise - and gave them the exact date and time. They refused to do so. Why do you think that is? The Attorney General's office suggested I consider filing a claim in small claims court. I will do so if it's possible to do a web hearing. Do you really want to give business to a company that acts that way to customers, and to one of our offices charged with protecting state consumers? I strongly suggest not, or you too might be getting advice to file in small claims. read more

Extremely disappointed overall with your service regarding an on-going issue with my winter parka. The belt you broke is designed to keep the cold air out of the jacket. Now, you want me to wear the jacket without the belt for eight weeks - during the coldest time of the year in Minnesota - while the manufacturer repairs it??? I was told by your Director of Marketing that the belt was not important to the function of the jacket, but on the manufacturer's website, the product description clearly states the belt's function is to "ward off gusts of snow and wind". I just find all of this ironic, considering Dan Miller started this company when he was dissatisfied with dry cleaning service, himself, (according to the Star Tribune). I have been a Mulberry's customer for a little over 2 years now. Our problems are with the customer service. Our building downtown has scheduled drop off and pick up times - for the past year they have yet to actually pick up any laundry on the day/time specified. Frustratingly, when you call to speak with someone you receive an answering machine or you get routed to one of the stores, which then has to forward you on to another store to get a hold of someone. I have been speaking to Jake (apparently the customer experience manager) - he assured me, that after calling and leaving messages that were never returned, he would have our clothing picked up immediately and dropped off at our next scheduled date. I figured I'd give them one last try.... bad idea. Our clothing was never picked up. I think it is unfortunate that the customer service is so god awful. We are pretty happy with the quality of cleaning - and in two years have only had one item we needed to send back (a stain didn't come out the first time). But I can honestly say that we will never use this cleaners or any of the branches again. read more

Mulberry's has the absolute WORST customer service. I first came to Mulberry's to hem a bridesmaid's dress, which they assured me would be completed by Friday at 5 p.m. for the wedding on Sunday. When I came to pick it up Friday, it wasn't ready and they said they "hoped it'll be done Saturday night," and if it wasn't done by Sunday, they wouldn't charge me. The wedding was Sunday, so of course that wouldn't work. They ended up finishing the dress Saturday afternoon in time for the wedding, but they have no sense of urgency. This week, I decided to give Mulberry's another try and had 8 pieces of clothing to be picked up for dry cleaning. The pickup was scheduled to come sometime between 4-5 pm, and ended up coming at 5:10 pm. Then, I received a receipt that 7 items had been picked up, meaning a pair of $450 pants went missing somehow in the process. Jake, the routing manager, said there was nothing they could do, they'll keep looking for the pants, and refused to give his manager's name after being asked five times. Now, my dry cleaning (minus one item) was supposed to be delivered between 8-9 am. It's 9:40 am and still hasn't been delivered. What's the point in scheduling pickup and delivery when you'll just come whenever works for you? Don't bother coming here, unless you don't mind wasting your time, money and clothing, for that matter. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I dropped off my cream colored trench coat for cleaning. When I picked up the garment, it was shrunk, mis-shapen, the fabric looked as though it had been stonewashed, and the coat was no longer cream, but BLUE!!!!! When I told the employee that I wanted to speak to a manager, she said that none was on duty and that I'd have to wait. I asked to be refunded my money. She said she could not refund my money...that it had to "go through the proper process"...and that it needed to be sent back to the cleaning facility so they could try to "re-clean" it. When I explained that is wasn't just the cleaning that was the problem, she said there was nothing she could do except send it to the cleaning facility. After speaking with the manager, she repeated what her employee said. She said that she could not reimburse me for the jacket or even refund my money for the service until it had gone through the proper process. She said I would be contacted directly by the cleaning facility manager. I just spoke with him. He said that if my coat was not satisfactorily restored, that I would receive a credit to Mulberry's for the amount of the coat. Are you KIDDING ME?!?! Do you think I'd do future business with a business that ruined a garment? Unacceptable customer service. I brought my trench coat to Mulberry's...so Mulberry's should be taking care of the refund and reimbursement and Mulberry's should be doing any follow-up needed with the cleaning facility. read more

Second time they've resoled my shoes & I love it both times. First shoe was $100 & the second around $20. Just depends how much cobblering is needed. I buy expensive shoes from the 400-800 range that are versatile all weather waterproof & 3 season... and I would rather wear them out & wear them well for ten years... soles & heels go first so I just love keeping my favorites longer! read more

Use another dry cleaning service! They "lost" over $1,000 worth of custom made suits. We have a receipt from pick up showing 33 items dropped off but we only got 29 items back. After getting the run around for weeks, they can't find them and will take to responsibility for replacement costs. There is proof of 33 items on the receipt from drop off and video footage taking out each item individually to be counted at drop off. read more

Terrible experience. I originally brought my dress shirts to Mulberrys Garment Care because I heard that each item of clothing comes back on a new wooden hanger. I thought that would be kind of cool so I thought I would give them a try. I also liked that they are an environmentally friendly cleaner that uses "100% toxin free" cleaning process. They were also voted at "Minnesota's best dry cleaner" by a variety of local magazines. By my experience, I can say that it couldn't be farther from the truth. When I initially brought my shirts in to be dropped off, I was next in line behind a lady who said her skirt still had stains on it that weren't there to begin with and it had been redone five times. I shrugged that off thinking that she was exaggerating. In hindsight, I don't think she was. I brought two dress shirts in to be washed and pressed. When I picked them up a week later (other cleaners I've been to usually have the shirts ready in a few days) one was fine but the other one looked like it was washed in red cool aid. I brought the shirt back to the store and they said they would redo it and I should stop back in a week to pick it up. No offer to expedite it even though it was their mistake. A week later I stopped by again and it didn't look any different. The person in the store said that they could try it again or start a claim process. Since it was one of my favorite dress shirts I wanted to see if they could get it right the third time. I also found it odd that when they re-did the shirt the first time, they would send it back looking like it did, stains still present. For the second re-do I asked to speak with a manager. There wasn't one at the store at the time and was told that the customer care person would give me a call to discuss it. That person never called me. I called and sent an email and finally received a reply. She said that she would talk to the plant manager to see what happened and if it could be fixed. The plant manage said that the shirt was pressed before it was dry and therefore the colors ran. He said that he could get the stain out. A week later I picked up my shirt and the stains were lighter but were still present. I considered keeping the shirt because frankly I was tired of driving back and forth for all the re-dos. However, upon closer inspection, I discovered that there was a very large new stain on the collar. The finish from the wooden hanger came off on to the shirt. At this point I stopped giving Mulberrys the benefit of the doubt and asked to be reimbursed for the damaged shirt. The customer care person said she would start a claim. After discussion of the claim process I was told that that the check would be sent out by the end of the week which meant I should receive it by the following Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I didn't receive the check that entire week and followed up with the customer care person. She said she would look into it and call me back the next day, which she didn't. After multiple attempts to get a hold of her (the customer care line is her cell phone which she rarely if ever answers), I finally got a hold of her at which point she said that she saw the check written and brought to the post office. I should have it in a few days. After another week of not getting the check I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. A day later I received a call from the Operations Manager with an apology for the poor service I received and he stated that my claim check was sent out yesterday (Wed). I calculated that I should receive it on Friday since I hadn't on Thursday (local mail should be a day or two). I also didn't receive it on Saturday or even Monday. I did receive it Tuesday which indicated to me that he wasn't truthful about sending it out on Wed. The whole process was nine weeks from the beginning. I find this totally unacceptable and a complete joke. I only wish that I had read reviews before trying this company because others have had a similar experience and I wouldn't have bothered trying them. Needless to say, I will never use them again and I recommend that you don't either. read more

A waitress at a restaurant had accidentally dropped a bowl of sauce on my peacoat so i had to have it cleaned. I did tons of research to find the right cleaner because i love, love, love this coat. This place had better than average reviews so i went with it. The store its super cute and customer service was good when I dropped the jacket off. A few days later they call me, let me know its ready to be picked up. So, after work i drive on down there to find out its not there. Where is it? They don't know. I would have to wait until a manager is there the next day. She too has no idea where oh where my jacket could be. I go round and round with them for two days. They finally find it, but it had been shrunk. read more

The clothes come on wooden hangers. The shirts are impeccable with with collar stays and things to hold the collar straight. Sweaters and suits are done perfectly! I couldn't be more satisfied. I always bring my clothes here. Not only is the shop completely beautiful and I actually enjoy going in there, but it's good for the environment. I need to download the app and do delivery next time. My old dry cleaner was stuck in the 80s. They'd demand I bring in my paper receipt that I was supposed to hang on to for a week. I'm sure you can guess how well that went for me...:( I was so sick of them lecturing me and being rude each time I went in that dungey store so I finally gave Mulberrys a shot since it was right next to the Starbucks I frequent all too often. They did a great job with my garments and it is just overall a real luxury experience. The clothes smell good, they come back on nice wooden hangers, and I really appreciate the hours they keep. I think they understand their clients need flexibility and many of us work regular business hours so it's important to stay open late. Anyway, I highly recommend! read more

I was visiting a friend in MN when I spilled cranberry juice all over my brand new white Sky Dress (Ladies, you know these dresses are like $350.00 so you can imagine I was freaking out)! I went to Mulberrys because it was close to my friends house and not only did the owner himself help EXPLAIN to me what to do in the future (at home) in case this happens again, but the stain came out PERFECTLY and I was able to wear the dress the next day. Cutest place ever....unfortunately the dry cleaning service is terrible. Picked up a down comforter I had cleaned only to find, when I opened the nice bag it came in, that it was still wet and had a foul moldy odor. No explanation except that they thought it was dry. They are redoing it at no charge but it will take another week! I also had three coats dry cleaned and one came back with stains in the lining. I was also charged separately for a belt that belonged to one of the coats. They did not do a very good job of finishing. The linings of all of the coats came back more wrinkled than when I brought them in. My girlfriend recently had one of her coats cleaned there and they burnt the fur on the collar of her coat. All in all a good concept for dry cleaning. Toxin free etc... however they definitely DO NOT get the job done. I am very disappointed. read more

Just wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU to MULBERRYS for the fabulous job they did on my daughters prom dress!! Days before prom the zipper separated on her brand new prom dress and the tears began to flow......until Mulberrys came to the rescue! It was better than new and they had it back to us extremely fast! Thank you so much for understanding the importance of this event in the eyes of a teenage girl! You made both of us SO incredibly relieved and happy! Great job steaming it too, it was beautiful!!! We will definitely be sharing our Mulberrys experience with everyone. I came to Mulberry's a few years ago because I liked the chemical free process they advertise to clean clothes. The garment do come back clean and on wooden hangers, which I impressed me. But as time wore on, they poor customer service soured my opinion of the company and its value. in the past 18 months, they have lost clothing on 3 occasions and gave me someone else clothes on another. Store personal seemed uninterested in assisting, referring us to an off-site customer service center. More than half of the time customer service line was a recording and seldom did anyone call back. One of the key reasons to use or drop a company is trust. Mulberry's has lost mine. read more

Worst dry-cleaning experience ever. I think in my whole life I might have returned one item to a cleaner for a redo. I used my Groupon at the St. Louis Pk. store and ended up returning 3 out of 4 items to the Edina store and 2 of those were returned yet again. The one item I didn't return (a wool coat) was covered in pet hair (I don't own any pets) but I didn't want to seem too fussy returning everything. One skirt they returned with the same stains, which were cleaned the 2nd time around. One pair of slacks had an attached sash which was not pressed. When they redid it, there was a definite discoloration line on the slacks from where they pressed the sash. They couldn't fix it and the line seems permanent. Another pair of slacks, which were white, were stained by the dark wooden teeth of the hanger they use to hang slacks. They managed to get the wood stains out but then put the pants on another, you guessed it, dark wood hanger with teeth so the other pant leg now had stains. They got those stains out and used a clip hanger the 3rd time. The whole process took a few weeks to clean summer pants and summer was fading fast. They never called to tell me when anything was ready and I had to keep checking. The Edina customer service was awful and they got an attitude with me like I was being too picky about the damage to my clothing. I was offered $50 but that didn't come close to the cost of both pairs of slacks. I was told I would receive a call from the corporate office to file a claim but never received one.
