The two I could use, same size... one didn't give me the extra rinse I paid for and fished 13 minutes sooner than the other one that did do the extra rinse. One dryer gave me 5 minutes and the other gave me 8 minutes. When I brought it to the attention of the attendant, was told, that's just what they do. Additionally, all three dryers had different temperatures so I had to wait for the hottest one for three different loads. The place is no longer clean. The floor and machines are actually dirty, not dusty, but grime and who knows what else on the floors and the machines. Does anyone know if it's under new management...? The owner was also very nice to me and explain a lot of the process as she was taking measurements and made sure it was to the length I wanted even with heels on. Here's why: 1) Good service: All of my orders have come back on time and perfectly cleaned and pressed. They have even done a great job taking stains out. I've had some bad experiences with other dry cleaners downtown with broken buttons, late orders, and wrinkled shirts, but St Croix has always been great. 2) Friendly staff: I really like the staff at St Croix (all the downtown locations, but particularly the IDS Center). 3) Good list of locations: I feel like St Croix has not only the most locations downtown, but also the most convenient. There are quite a few in the skyway, and also a couple at street level that are open on Saturdays. 4) Reasonable prices: St Croix isn't the cheapest dry cleaner in town, but for the quality and consistency, their prices are an excellent value.
