I brought a shirt in with a small food stain and pointed this out when I dropped it off. 3 days later when I came to pick it up the stain was still there. charged $7.99 and told that I would have to come back in another 2 days. When I came back, stain was still there. I also heard another customer being told that their shirt press machine was broken and this would cause a delay. Bottom line is I've made three trips here, paid $7.99 and I'm still left with a shirt that has a stain on it. read more

I dropped off a blouse with a grease stain on the sleeve. The blue blouse came back with black stains all over it. They apologized and took it back for another cleaning. I came back the following week to pick it up. There were still black stains on the blue blouse. Another week later, I came back for the third time- and there is still some residue from the stain they caused and they have said it's all they can do. After a month, I just took my blouse and now I have permanent stains on it that they caused. They said they would give me a gift card or discount on a future order but never did. I've been going there since they opened. I live in the neighborhood and do not recommend it. I am extremely dissatisfied. read more

Mulberrys is supposed to be a high end cleaner in McLean. I moved to them after having problems with another cleaner in McLean -- the kept laundering my shirts instead of dry cleaning them. I told this to Mulberrys when we first opened our account with them. They said they completely understood and it wouldn't happen there. What's the first thing they did? They laundered a bunch of Tom Ford and Eton dress shirts instead of dry cleaning them & when I asked them why they ruined my shirts they said they "apologize for the inconvenience." These people ruined close to $10,000 worth of shirts and they think it's just an "inconvenience." Avoid these people like the plague. They pretend to run a high end shop, it looks like a high end shop, and they charge high end prices. But they treat your clothing like garbage. read more

If you're looking for a dry cleaner that's better than ZIPS...this is not it. ZIPS may actually be better (and I hate ZIPS). I brought a trench coat and skirt here for cleaning and alterations. My skirt is significantly more damaged than when I brought it in, and after 3 weeks and multiple phones calls to Mulberry's asking for an update, not a single person from Mulberry's has called me back. They're "waiting for a part" to come in, yet no one can tell me when it will come in, how they're going to repair the damage done, or a timeline for when my skirt may remotely be done. read more

First time customer. First impression : Shop very clean, tidy with a nice smell, not like so many other laundry shops. Very friendly welcome! Dropped off three jackets, two with stains. Laundry was done two days later. Nice job on two, on one the stain lightened but not fully removed, did not expect that as I guess it was a blackberry stain. Again, very friendly at pick up. I'm so surprised to be the first one to review this place. I was lying in bed one Saturday morning when I just so happened to see a "Grand Opening" Facebook post for this place. I was immediately impressed with the website and the company's philosophy. So I got dressed and took my first load of clothes over to see what the hype was all about. I am thoroughly impressed with this dry cleaner. It is so, SO hard to find a good cleaner's around here. And this place is clean, upscale, and dedicated to non-toxic but thorough cleaning and garment care. I love everything about it. They can get stains out of even the most delicate of fabrics. They return everything on actual wood hangers that you can keep -- or return to them for a small discount. They give you discount coupons the more you come. They give you free cedar and drawer satchets for use at home. They offer free bottled water in-store. It's just such a great experience and unlike the typical dry cleaning experience. They also have a seamstress on site. All of it I have gone back like four or five times since -- just dropping off a few pieces at a time from the massive pile of things that have been collecting in my home because I didn't have a place I could trust to clean them. I just wish I didn't live outside their pick-up and delivery radius -- which is why I wish they'd open an outpost at the new Parks at Walter Reed complex that's closer to me. In the meantime though, I will continue to drive out my way to go here. My only (minor) complaint is that there's a particular employee who ALWAYS gets my order incorrectly at drop off. She repeatedly mis-counts my items and/or doesn't apply my proper discount and it causes me issues on the back-end when it's time to pick up. Besides that, I have no complaints. read more

After ZIPS ruined my clothes, I knew I had to look for a new dry cleaners. Mulberry's is near my office so I thought I would give them a try. Everything about this place is excellent. It's clean, it smells clean, and the customer service is wonderful. The seamstress is talented. They offer bottled water and coffee. They've always gotten my order right, they got a stain out of something that my other cleaner couldn't And they're just so darn nice.. Highly recommend. read more
