I feel that in most respects Mulligans is a 3-star spot. But what pushes it up to 4 star for me is their Tuesday night trivia. As far as the bar itself, it's spacious with plenty of seating. There is also plenty to keep you entertained in terms of bar games. They have TVs all over the place and are pretty good at finding the game you want to watch. They have food and snacks in case you get hungry. It's typical pub grub and fairly forgettable. But at least you can order food. Alright, now on to trivia. Every Tuesday night at 7PM they have pub trivia. This is what has kept me coming back week after week. The set up is simple, easy, and free to play. First and second place get gif cards ($50 and $25 respectively). It would be cool to see third place get something small but I'm not complaining. One of the coolest aspects of trivia, is that week in and week out you have the same teams showing up. I've found it be incredibly fun and strongly suggest you check it out. read more

Last Saturday night I went with a group of friends and some young brunette "bartender" seemed more interested in talking to her coworkers and slopped together the drinks I ordered. They were poured incorrectly and tasted awful. I usually enjoy going to this place but the staff needs to understand they are in the hospitality industry and not a private social club. I usually frequent places closer to home, but I try to make it to Mulligans twice a month on Wednesdays to catch up with friends and play poker. The place is ok, but after my experience tonight (see below if you care), I'll never go back to this place. What happened: I signed up for the 9:30 game, took my chips, and walked to an open seat. I asked Jeff, the tournament director of the chair was open and he said yes. I was then asked to move, which I denied and then Jeff came back and said if I didn't move, I couldn't play. So I paid my tab, left and don't plan on ever coming back. I was obviously outnumbered by the regulars that go there. read more

Another great bar in the so called "bar row" of Amarillo. Great layout, very open, lots of space and plenty of tables. Bar was a little slow for service, strangely it was the woman bartender kicking ass and the guy bartenders spending their time flirting. Very good beer selection on tap and nice assortment of liquors too. Plenty of televisions, we were able to watch both NCAA games at the same time without having to look back and forth to different spots. Pool tables, video games and freaking foosball! The atmosphere at 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon was pretty quiet, but that's how I like it! We were visiting from out of town and looking for a place to shoot some darts. My team and I came here from out of State for the new year celebration. The servers are very rude, and as we spent upwards of 400 dollars at the bar, the the bartenders refused to serve us. As minorities, it pains me to have to say this in 2017 but we were discriminated against. Upon being pushed out of the building by security, they began throwing punches and police arrived to detain us. After detainment, the officer said it themselves, the security here is unprofessional, and is hurting the business more than it is helping. We were released after an hour of the security giving BS reports to the cops. read more

Terrible. They have like 3 TVs that are all small and like 8 years old. I would not recommend coming here to watch a game, any game. It's dirty and smoky and generally run down. They usually have 1-2 bartenders and maybe 2 waitresses for the entire place (it's pretty big), so don't count on any service if its remotely crowded. The sole redeeming quality of this place is that they have cheap beer specials on the off days. read more

Not sure why this place doesn't have more stars! Then again, my review is going to a little biased since I came here with a friend for a private party and of course the open bar didn't hurt. To be honest, I didn't expect Mulligans to be on the corner of a strip center. The pros about this were that there was plenty of parking for everyone. The whole bar was closed for a private event and the open bar fulfilled everyone's drink orders in a timely fashion. Not once was I left without a drink, and the bartenders were able to creatively make some strong tasty adult beverages. The DJ was old but he played all requests and had both the oldies and the most popular music available. An important part of any bar is the restroom. The women's restroom weren't filthy so that was a plus. Overall, pretty fun place with games, good music, and good drinks. read more

Just a good bar. Beer selection is good. Pub atmosphere. Lots of people but not overly crowded. Wait staff is super attentive. They are working hard on a busy night but they come by every few minutes to check on us. No complaints at all. Good job mulligans. read more

Crowd very young. Met three 20 year old girls who were being served. Mentioned this to an indifferent bar staff. Drink specials okay, kind of random though (Mexican Mondays?). Don't waste your money on the jukebox though. Spent $20 dollars but heard only one song. If the bartender who has the remote does not like your song, he/she will skip it right away, no questions asked because they are very intolerant if you don't agree with them. Better places to go would be Hoot's for the crowd and music, and Rumor's for the drink specials. Highly recommend AGAINST Mulligan's. read more
