Visited this location for a second time on a roadtrip. Everything was great until it wasn't. Food was all great, service was all great...then when we were ready to pay and leave, our server went MIA. After 30 min, we asked another staff member for our bill. She said she could only print it, but our server would have to charge our card. Finally our server came and apologized saying that they let another server go home then she was overloaded with tables and couldn't get help. While my usual server was not working and experiences can sometimes vary, I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service Gabby provided. You've got a bar area with plenty of TVs if that's what you're feeling. Or you can opt for a table with TVs spread out around the restaurant. I very much so enjoyed my visit. The service wasn't bad (it wasn't great either but no biggie), and the food and beer were great. At some point in the night (I was there on a Friday) they had a DJ start playing music. So the saving grace of this place is, in fact, twofold. For one, the beer here is ridiculously cold. That's great on a hot day. Secondly, Shaylee and manager Tish offer extremely excellent customer service. I have been to another TP close to my office in Coppell, TX, and the service there and here is lackluster, for the most part. The food at both places: meh. I have been trying to maintain a pescatarian eating regimen for the most part, which at TP means either ordering a salad, some fried appetizers, or the fish and chips dinner. I ordered the fish and chips here two nights in a row; as you can see, each dinner was like four fish sticks on top of room temperature and undercooked fries. For my third night here (and I keep coming back because coworkers), I broke down and ordered boneless wings. Admittedly, they weren't bad. The Nash sauce was spicy with good flavor, while the Spicy Thai Chili sauce brought a nice combo of sweet and spicy. The fries on the side, though, room temperature and undercooked again. Our first visit here and we loved it!! New Year's Day and we only waited 30 minutes. I loved where they sat us...in an side room with a blazing fireplace and a quieter atmosphere. Hubby ordered a Michelada for the first time (on special for $5). My Seven Deadly red wine was smooth and lovely. Our waitress, Charlize, was awesome, helpful, and fast! I ordered the Cobb and chose blue cheese dressing, but it also came with the advertised honey mustard, ): oh well, it was still delish! Just not keto. Hubby got the Buffalo tacos, and ordered extra blue cheese on the side. They were very mild in Buffalo seasoning. The chips and salsa that came with the three tacos were wonderful! Light, crispy, salty chips with a flavorful salsa. His drink ended up being comped because it was supposed to be $5 but they couldn't figure out how to correct the amount overcharged. Sweet! The service was absolutely atrocious. The hostess ignored me and the party that came in after me for several minutes. Then when I finally did get seated, I was completely ignored by my server while the party that came after me was served. Ten minutes after my order was finally taken, my server returned to my table to tell me they were out of one of the things I had ordered. I pointed this all out to the manager and even showed her the table the hostess was at taking selfies with some guy she was flirting with, whose table she was parked at for the majority of my stay. I also pointed out to the manager that the bathroom was completely wrecked and flooded and suggested she have someone clean it before someone fell and hurt themselves. Some coworkers and I went to Twin Peaks last night for a little graduation celebration. We called ahead and asked for a table for a party of 10. When we arrived, we were seated at a table for 6 (there was only 6 who initially showed up), with a second table for 6 near by. The manager walks up and says "is the rest of your party coming? If not, I'm going to give this other table away." Us: "there's only one more coming, is there any way we could just pull up a chair?" Manager: "no, we can't move chairs. If we do that then it messes up the count for other families." Me: "if the other one shows up, I'll just stand. We'll make it work." Manager: "cool." Our 7th shows up and I stand at the end of the table while we wait for our food. A family of 5 is seated at the table for 6 that was originally saved for us. Our food comes out and as I begin to eat while standing, the so called security for the place pulls the extra chair from the party of 5 and proceeds to sit his lazy ass down. The manager comes over and is conversing with his geriatric security guard and I gesture to him like wtf and I got a slight shoulder shrug. So, not only was the food only half assed mediocre, but the hospitality was complete shit. I didn't mind standing, but the simple fact that he over looked the needs of patrons for the wants of staff was irritating to say the least. Security should be walking around, not sitting down. The servers are dressed similar to the hooters gals but hey as long as they treat us ladies the same as they treat the men I'm fine with that.
