Extremely annoyed and disappointed that offices continue to screw people out of more money. I recommend going elsewhere or asking very specifically what your visit covers and which QUESTIONS cost extra...

The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

But if you use the Healow app, the docs are pretty quick to respond plus your care needs are documented. I started using Bridlewood, Dr. Glaser and his staff because the last office I was at didn't listen to me. I'm diabetic and trying to find the right medication has been much trial and error but my last office brushed off my errors. So when I first started with Bridlewood, Michelle Hampton heard me and started me on my way to finding what worked. I was sad to lose Victoria Thomas but it was an easy transition back to Michelle and they really do care. I have trouble with getting medication but that's due to my insurance not the office. Michelle and her team have been in constant communication with me and are eager to help where they can. I've had nothing but a pleasant and stress free experience working with the Bridlewood staff. My one complaint would be that I never got an Amazon gift card!

Nandimandalam, and from the very first interaction to the last, she did not hear me as a patient, she did not express compassion. This doctor's bed side manner was deplorable. She spoke over me repeatedly and would cut me off when I attempted to speak and advocate for myself. I also later discovered that she broke HIPPA law by sharing my test results with my mother whom was present without my consent in secret. I don't believe this physician is fit for direct patient care, as she gave me a terrible experience when I was already feeling awful, and she broke the laws that protect my privacy.

During my first visit, Dr. Shakouri was very dismissive of the fact that my profession as an airline pilot strictly limits which medications I am allowed to take. Despite my repeated concerns and the FAA medication restrictions, he continued to push for a "large dose" of an allergy medication until I finally said, "I would rather not." I was later scheduled for allergy skin testing and a sinus CT scan. The front desk provided written instructions, which I followed exactly. Those instructions also clearly stated that I would be contacted in advance with pricing if my insurance did not cover the tests. That never happened. On the day of the appointment, I was unexpectedly told I owed $300 for the allergy testing (which I reluctantly agreed to) and $150 for the sinus CT scan (which I declined). I expressed my frustration to Dr. Shakouri, after which he issued a refund, and I chose to terminate care with this office. Overall, this was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. Poor communication, disregard for occupational medical restrictions, and irresponsible front office practices. I now have to start the entire process over again elsewhere. I do not recommend this practice. If any part of it were inaccurate, a respectful clarification would be appropriate -- not a blanket attempt to discredit patients for speaking publicly. Reviews exist so future patients can make informed decisions based on real experiences.

This place is the absolute worst. A friend referred me here, but I wasn't able to see the doctor…read morehe's been seeing for years. I agreed to see one of the nurse practitioners and paid the higher fee for my first visit. She was not able to advise me on anything during that visit as she didn't have my bloodwork results yet. I have not been able to communicate with her at all about prescriptions since having my bloodwork run. The doctors do not communicate with patients through clinic's messaging system, unlike many other clinics. Messages are only responded to by the assistants. After much back and forth due to this, it has been almost two months without one of my agreed upon prescriptions being filled. One of my other prescriptions was incorrectly filled. After multiple calls and messages with assistants that were just following a script, the office manager called and insisted that it had been filled correctly and told me to go to CVS to handle it with them. The CVS pharmacist showed me how it was sent in and explained how it was done incorrectly. She tried to call the clinic but only only got the AI system. I have made more calls and sent messages since then. Today the office manager again called and insisted that the prescription was filled correctly, complete with a bad attitude as usual. She then told me I'm being fired as a patient. This is how they deal with their incompetence. This the worst run clinic I have ever dealt with.
