I was contacted by there office and made an appointment. My insurance provided me with the referable stating the name, address and phone number. The gentleman making the appointment wanted to make clear of their location at a second floor complex in a retail center. When I arrived the reception person was on a call and it seemed to me to be a personal one because she told her call that she had to go someone came in. I gave my name and what time my appointment was. She told me they don't make appointments before 12 noon. My appointment was at 10 am. She asked my name at least three times and each time I spelled it. She said she had no record of my appointment. I told her I had an email with the confirmation. She shrugged and said I should probably call someone. I did. This person as well was clueless about my appointment. I left and called my insurance company to complain. I was on the phone with them nearly an hour, and they confirmed the location ... but the name of the business was different. I would never in a million years go back to that place simply because of the reception person really not caring at all to help.

The doctor asked me how I crushed my septum after I woke up from the balloon sinuplasty procedure. He acted surprised as he asked me. I was bleeding profusely from the left side of my noise as I was leaving the clinic. I guess he got up there real well as that is the side of my head that now has the permanent tinnitus. If I had to do it all over again I would skip this procedure all together. I would rather live with a stuffy nose then hearing this constant scream in my ear! As far as quality of care, Dr. Gamble was arrogant and insulting to me. I told him I had sleep apnea and asked if the breathing machine could be causing the irritation and bleeding I was having. The inside of my nose was raw and I had tiny pieces of what appeared to be cartilage in the blood. He told me to stop picking my nose and use a cream he prescribed. I don't pick my nose but I did use the cream according to his directions. I returned for follow up with my husband to let him see that his suggestions were not working. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner and insulted me by insisting that I was picking my nose. At the time of the second visit, I no longer had insurance, being in a waiting period for new insurance. By this time I was having considerable pain and there seemed to be a lot of erosion in my left nostril. He said I would need surgery but we would have to wait until my insurance "kicked in". He was very cavalier, as if it was my problem and refused to put me on a payment plan. I went to another ENT in Frisco who determined that I needed nasal reconstruction. He performed the surgery and found a polyp which he biopsied. It was cancerous. I had radiation treatment and follow-up. Thankfully, I left Dr.Gamble and sought out another doctor. Who needs an arrogant, insulting, and disinterested doctor like Dr. Gamble? I have healed and have checkups to stay healthy.

Like geez lady I apologized and am trying not to make the same error and she rubbed in my face. Emotional regulation is important for someone in charge of "patient care" and while I was remorseful and paid my fee for rescheduling less than 24 hrs, Christina was extremely passive aggressive and when told how she made a patient feel in clinic, she had 0 remorse or compassion. Impact vs intention especially when it comes to patient care. That's not someone that I'd like to see/deal with when coming into a clinic of great PTs & PA's. Again, if you want her to tackle an insurance company, she's your girl. If you want to be spoken to like a human being, go elsewhere. Very curt, insensitive but hey she'll get things done.

Her office and her team answered all my questions and always made me feel comfortable. After my surgery, I was so nervous for my post op appointment that I just immediately cried when one of the nurses took me back. She calmed me down and really sympathized with my feelings, which meant so much. Dr. Wyll is very nice and professional and has a gentle hand even when a weenie like me is in her office. The people could not have been nicer. They replaced the fiber that connects the hearing aid to the ear piece, and the ear piece as well. They cleaned the other hearing aid, and also cleaned the contacts on the charging case. The cost was a very modest $15.00. They noticed that one of the hearing aids didn't seem to be charging correctly. They told us what to watch out for, and that the hearing aid was still under warranty so if there is a problem with the charging circuitry, it would be fixed at no cost. Delightful people and great service!

When they were returned, she made effective adjustments. Next week I'll start my 81st trip around the Sun (I'm 79). My suggestion to anyone seeking help with their hearing issues. Include Dr. John in your search and remember the quest is a journey. Board Certified in Audiology is another bonus in my experience.
