Nurses have bedside matter. Doctors are very informative. We are not left in the dark. I trust they will take good care of my husband. So far they are very attentive. I recommend coming in the morning or very early in morning. It is more stress free. If you have a smartphone, you can do registration on your smartphone or tablet. It helps keep patients from getting disturbed especially if they are unwell. I completed it for him so he can get focused on just getting care for. It is not fancy hospital but a great one for less stress.

From the beginning, it felt like her needs and comfort were not being taken seriously. Less than a day after her procedure, staff began pushing for her discharge even though she clearly expressed that she was not ready and was still in significant pain. It was alarming to see such urgency to release her without properly addressing her condition or ensuring she felt stable enough to leave. Throughout her stay, there was also a lack of basic respect for her requests. She repeatedly asked staff to close the door when entering and leaving her room, but this was often ignored. It may seem like a small thing, but when you're in a vulnerable state, privacy and comfort matter a lot. The most troubling part was the lack of responsiveness to her pain. At one point, she called for help five times while in excruciating pain and received no assistance. When I went to the charge nurse station to ask for help, I was met with a dismissive and rude response. Instead of offering help or directing me constructively, the nurse simply told me it wasn't their section and that I needed to go elsewhere, with no sense of urgency or concern. Additionally, when my girlfriend asked for help with something as simple as a leg warmer, the nurse she spoke to acted as though the request was unreasonable and refused to assist her. This kind of behavior made her feel dismissed and uncomfortable during an already difficult time. Overall, the level of care, empathy, and professionalism we experienced fell far below what we expected. Patients recovering from surgery deserve to feel heard, supported, and cared for -- not ignored or brushed off. I hope the hospital takes feedback like this seriously and works to improve both patient care and staff responsiveness.

Saw Joseph Guthrie he was very nice, and I thank him for being efficient! Only downfall is that parking lot, the Starbucks drive thru line is right in front of the parking. That said, I give this place 2.5 stars. I have been there a few times and left neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. However, my last experience left me very dissatisfied. I had been sick for about 9-10 days before I determined that I wasn't going to get better. I really try and fight the urge to go to an Urgent Care at this time of year during... cold and flu season. Indigo is close so I went on their site, and I was #21 in line. Set up a virtual session this time, big mistake. The provider was nice, I shared my history with her, and she gave referrals to address my root cause issues. That said, my immediate symptoms were not treated. Of course, there would be no blood draws, no sampling of any bios. I told her what previous fixes worked for my symptoms; those, being antibiotics (BTW I am 63, what death do I need to wait out before it's determined, now he needs antibiotics) or steroid treatments. I had a cough, didn't need treatment and said don't prescribe Benzonatate. I have a surplus of it and take over the counter syrups when ill. It was prescribed anyway and, in a rush, paid for it at CVS because there was another scrip. Since I was feeling no better 6 days later, I appealed to the clinic to reconsider treating me in the ways I suggested. I did not want to have to wade through a cadre of sick people, for hours, only to set up another expensive visit and spend additional hours at a walk in. I AM CERTAINLY NOT ABOVE the usual pecking order of urgent treatment, but this is, IMO, sub-par follow through.

Max put each of us a complete Lean Cuisine roasted chicken with red roasted potatoes and broccoli and red peppers and mushrooms in a fire roasted chicken sauce. It was a complete meal. The ER got slammed, and Max got pulled into two or three other rooms, our males have been heated, but he refused to let them bring those to us and threw them away and have them reheat two brand new ones and bring to us so we could eat. That's going above and beyond the call of your nursing duties! Does he need to be commended for his care of his patience and their family absolutely as much as he can possibly get because nursing care like what Max gave us is few and far between. It's much appreciated and we think he should be acknowledged for his good work. We thanked him. He said that that's my job. That's what I'm here to do is take care of you. He actually got my other half to smiling and so that was really good. They were cutting up and joking back-and-forth so yeah he was very nice and was with us the whole time until we got brought upstairs. We would also like to extend our thanks to and the rest of the nursing staff the doctors the CNA's they x-rayed text everybody the phlebotomist everybody that helped we appreciate it very, very much, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts! i'll be taking him home today soon as we can get the discharge hopefully in another hour or so!! While waiting for a room he got 5 stickers attached to his chest and stomach and when we got into the room the staff never needed to use them. Then when the new nurses needed blood, one nurses proceeded to talk badly about how the nurses in Emergency always take the good veins and they never care. From the lack of communication between medical staff, a mislabeled sign at the door, there was the fact that they kept the door open and continued to have conversations right outside the patient's rooms while charging their cellphones against the wall. It was hard for a few patients to sleep with the conversations right outside their doors. What I did find out that was nice. Night shift was nicer, cafeteria staff were always smiling, and the public bathrooms were cleaned. What I wished was different: daily checks on the patients, clean patient robes, change pillow cases when people sweat through, more awareness on areas of pain and some patience and grace with treatment. Also maybe learn to close the doors better. Either way, this place need to change. I used to go to St. Joe's for my mom and they were all so diligent with her care. Here its like the bare minimum for their patients.
