They also carry a huge variety of sewing supplies, including zippers in just about every color, making it a one-stop shop for all your sewing needs. The store is exceptionally clean, fresh, and organized, which makes shopping such a pleasant experience. On top of that, the owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and provides outstanding customer service. I don't mind the drive at all because it's absolutely worth it. She was a wizard at assisting us in choosing a cat-proof fabric to restore our beloved Room & Board sleeper sofa (it has the best sleeper mattress by far). Joanne has experience in cat-proofing with her own little critters, and she swore by the fabric that looked great after 7 years and counting in her house. It definitely gave us confidence, even knowing how destructive our little critters can be. Joanne was extremely responsive and most of our communication was accomplished remotely, but we also benefited greatly from visiting the office and going through fabrics. She gave us a competitive price that INCLUDED pickup and delivery, which is a rarity these days and made for an UNBEATABLE price. The sleeper sofa was no easy task for delivery, but Joanne's crew was amazing in bringing it back in pieces and reassembling on the spot! Perfectly done. The quality of the upholstering work is impeccable. Joanne's team did such a good job that we now know the areas where Room & Board skimped, as Joanne's team did not skimp! Pick up and delivery was also spot on, extreme care was give to our furniture when it was picked up and delivered. I wanted to buy ribbon various color sizes and types. When I walked towards the back of the store to look at the ribbon, I was flabbergasted!!! my eyes open so wide my mouth dropped open. I had just stepped into ribbon heaven. I came away with maybe 20 different ribbons, maybe 5 yards each and $48 bill. Well worth it. I wanted various types to make ribbon book markers. I went in looking for a blender for my project and found it right away. John was very helpful, friendly and obviously loves what he does. The shop has a good selection of solids and blenders as well as some Riley Blake. He just opened last August so is still in the process of accumulating inventory but there is lots to choose from. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for quilting help as well. While I was browsing, a woman came in looking for a starting point and John encouraged her to come in for the free sew so he could help her get started. The shop is welcoming and as he is building it up, I highly encourage anyone looking for blenders, notions, patterns, batting etc to go in. I bought several great blenders and a cute novelty fabric.
