I ate my noodles at home on the beach. They were still hot after 45 min in the car, and they were fine. They had zero spice because I ordered them like that, fresh bean sprouts were mixed in with tofu, egg, chicken,and thin rice noodles.They came with a lime wedge and a little cup of chopped peanuts. I enjoyed them because they were basic. The whole meal was $ 16 something plus I tipped them. I would probably go again but order them spicy. The guy was nice, the food was pretty quick, and it's not a bad amount of food for the money. That's all I got. From the outside I could see it was a clean and empty fast casual sorta space. We ordered fried calamari, slow cooked beef short ribs, and the slightly spicy, shrimp ceviche, marinated in coconut milk base with various other spices, with fried wonton chips. The food was above average, but I felt like the ceviche could have had more fresh herbs to complete the dish. The beef short rib had nice flavor, but was slightly tough to cut, especially when all I had was a butter knife to attempt the task at hand. All in all, it was a positive experience, and we enjoyed our visit to Corvallis and trying Magenta for the first time.

We had pork belly stir fry with basil, I had to try the traditional pad thai which tasted like Bangkok Street food! Delicious. Rich and flavorful not too sweet. We had thier home made coconut ice cream topped with slightly salted peanuts, and the owner gifted us a creamy Thai iced tea. Aroy mak mak na ca Khun Nok ka! We ordered pad kee mao, eggplant with pork, yellow curry, and Thai grilled chicken. My favorite was the eggplant with fried pork belly. I like my Thai eggplant dishes to have a good sweetness and the pork belly being crunchy was the perfect combination. I dream about it sometimes and will go back when I'm in town. Everything else was also good! I don't think you would be disappointed with whatever you try.
