Amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Corvallis! They offer customizable hotpot, as well as signature dishes. The spicy broth is excellent and has a perfect kick. The owner is so friendly and definitely cares about customer satisfaction. Service might take a while but it's definitely worth it! Can't wait to go back :))

Our first visit and it was a knock out!! All the reviews are accurate from the tiny shop, gracious caring host and to die for food. Just amazing and all three of us cleaned our bowls out. I had the Chef's Favorite Hot pot. The rice cake coin slices, peanut/Tahini, and little exploding juicy Sichuan pepper corns were unreal...so SO good. I added quail eggs and black fungus for the win. It comes with rice to add to scoop up all that crazy delicious broth... spicy in a healthy clear "all that ails you" way. You can ask to get it spicier, but it was perfect for me and I lean medium to mild. Prices incredibly reasonable given how expensive most places have gotten...

WOW! the Spicy broth blows your mind then there is a hint of a citrus finish to it that seems to cool you down(but not much). I had the Pork Special and my grandgirl had the vegetarian noodles also with the spicy broth. The owner was so sweet and humble. I congratulated him on the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the US Award from YELP and he said it was all thanks to his guests. I told him, he was doing something right to get that many positive reviews. An the reviews did not lie.

Was suggested this place from a friend who had nice things to say about the food- so I went with some friends to try it out. First off, you walk into a really small space, so I wasn't sure what to expect. We decided to order the hot pot specifically and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The broth was so flavorful and the veggies tasted fresh. It was the perfect revival meal after a night out- it hit all the marks for my friends and I. Will definitely come back!

The food here is amazing and the owner is super kind. I have come here with friends to enjoy the cozy space and hot pot often. I love the small but mighty restaurant, containing big flavors within. This place definitely deserves being in the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the United States!

This place IS a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Besides the clapboard on the sidewalk, you would be hard pressed to find this eatery. But it is well worth the search to stop at Tian Fu given how tasty and affordable the food is here. Hot pot can be best described as Chinese-style chunky soup. There are about 10 choices of standard hotpot ranging from spicy to vegetarian to tofu lovers to seafood, etc. Prices range from $10 to $14 and for that $, you get a good portion of soup/stew chock full of veggies and/meat plus noodles or rice. My chef's fav was a mildly spicy concoction of tofu, noodles, tender beef & bok choy and flavorful broth that left me full. Later on, the chef/server/owner told us we can totally tailor our dish to different spice levels and add or subtract ingredients to our personal preferences (possible added $ for adding ingredients). Don't expect any ambiance as this place serves OSU college students who want a quick, affordable, yet authentic Chinese meal to eat in or to take back to their nearby domicile. Student housing basically surrounds the building that Tian Fu shares with a few other eateries. Street parking is 2 hours (and frequently policed) if you can't find a spot in their small lot. The chef/server/owner is super friendly; it felt like I was eating in his home. Tian Fu is truly a hidden gem.

Ordered the tian fu pot. Took about 15 minutes to come out. That's how you know it's fresh. Was delectable. Perfect amount of spice with the signature sichuan pepper numbing. Beef was tender and juicy and vegetables soaked up brother nicely. The restaurant is a little small so don't expect to get seating alone right away. Incredible

I always find that Asian food hits the spot when I'm really hungry, so I looked online for a place that "the locals" rated highly and I came across "Jade Dumpling and Noodles" on Willamette. Let me just say that the fine people of Eugene didn't steer me wrong! My oldest son loves dumplings and I love noodles (really any type of Asian food), so this place was a gem! We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings, shrimp, pork and a spicy pork and they were All Delicious! These "soup dumplings" were small and bite sized but were packed with huge savory flavors! They are made right there and are amazing! I myself had the mixed noodles. House made noodles with beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables, stir fried in a delicious lite sauce, that enhanced the flavors of the dish, without overpowering it. You could taste all the ingredients and they were fresh and delicious! I cleaned the plate and now I can't wait to return to Jade Dumplings and Noodles again and try their other dishes, that I know will be tasty! The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, all in all, a Great dining experience! Try them out and you'll be hooked on them, just like I am now!!!

It's a place that specializes in wheaten food and noodles. Looking at the menu, I noticed a wide variety of options with complex preparation methods. For example, the dough used for regular dumplings is completely different from the dough used for shrimp dumplings (har gow). Shrimp dumplings require wheat starch (cheng mian), which must be kneaded and shaped with water around 70°C (158°F) to form properly. The entire process is incredibly labor-intensive and truly tests the chef's skill level. Ambiance & Environment: You can tell this restaurant has been open for a long time, yet it remains very clean. There is a glass-enclosed prep area where you can watch the staff making the dough and noodles from scratch, which perfectly showcases their specialty. However, I was seated right next to the back door. Since customers have to use this door to access the restrooms, people were constantly walking in and out. The draft was quite strong, causing my food to cool down very quickly. I highly recommend installing a folding screen there. I also overheard other guests asking to switch seats for the same reason, so this is definitely an area management needs to work on. The Food: Since I was dining alone, I only ordered two dishes, but overall, the food deserved high praise: Griddle Cooked Beef (Gan Guo Beef): A classic Sichuan dish. The beef slices were large, the side ingredients were plentiful, and they definitely didn't skimp on the seasoning. It had a rich, robust aroma of spices that burst in your mouth. Delicious! Beef Dumplings: Easily the best dumplings I have ever had on the entire West Coast. The wrappers were thin, the filling was generous, and they were incredibly juicy--literally bursting with flavor with every bite. Highly recommended! Service: Absolutely non-existent! About five minutes after all my food arrived, while I was right in the middle of eating, a server just dropped the bill on my table. I was completely baffled. It wasn't until I pointed out that I still needed rice that they finally took the bill back. Once I finished my meal, I asked for the check. The server gave absolutely no response. Seeing a long line of people waiting outside, I proactively asked a second time because I didn't want to hold up their business. To my surprise, the staff member snapped at me impatiently, saying, "I heard you, I have to go over there to get your bill." It was genuinely infuriating. Good foods. No services
