FOOD WAS AMAZING... Im from Cali but this is the best chicken tika masala ever I've had. I highly recommend get the garlic naan. They put the air conditioner on just for us, service was so nice too. Come here and get the food.

The restaurant is very clean and the food was great. I came for lunch and the food was hot and tasty. You should give them a try. The food is not covered in oil making it a healthier Indian option. I asked for my food to be spicy and it wasn't overall spicy, so for those who want to order here and a sensitive to spice you will be ok eating here. The service was very attentive and kind. I didn't feel rushed at all.

Food: 3/5. The biryani is way too spicy, and costs $17-19. The gulab jamun tastes like pancakes with syrup. Soggy.

Dreadful. Cancelled my order on uber eats - presumable because they couldn't be bothered.

My friend was craving Indian cuisine as part of a belated birthday dinner and Masti came to mind. I've tried other restaurants within Brooklyn and although good, there's something about Masti that allows them to outshine the others. Upon settling at our table, a very frigid Saturday evening had us craving a hot Ginger Chai Tea, unsweetened and very good. Pappadam along with the tradtional three chutneys were brought to the table on the house. Our order consisted of: *Chicken Tikka. As a starter, it was excellent. Having ordered it in the past, we knew it was solid and satisfying. Chunky grilled chicken smothered with onions and peppers. *Lasoni Gobi. Deep fried Cauliflower, tangy and sweet. I tasted one delicious floret, but it was my friend's decadent treat to savor. *Roti. Plain. Charred and Grilled. The healthiest bread to order at an Indian restaurant---thin and so delicious. Complemented the dinner very well. *Rogan Josh with Chicken. A first for me (and frankly unfamiliar), this dish was a home run. Chunky pieces of chicken in a yogurt based sauce. Outstanding. *Bricklane Curry. Again with Chicken and made with fresh Curry leaves. Excellent with a spicy kick---highly recommend. What I love about Masti Indian Grill is that they'll substitute any protein or even make it vegetarian from a menu selection. For example, Rogan Josh was under the lamb category, but prepared with chicken instead per our request. Service is always attentive. Staff--hospitable and food is on another level. Excellent, made with passion and precision. A go to spot you can count on for a great meal. One of my favorites.

The entire time it was being prepared, he argued with a man in the kitchen. It was an unpleasant experience, though the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The cute restaurant was empty, but people picked up their orders or for delivery. The staff gave me a snack that had fennel seeds and was a savory snack while I waited for my order. So sweet. My lunch special was $13 and included chutney, tomato soup, meat samosa, and curry lamb entree with naan and rice. I think it's a pretty good deal. I really enjoyed their rice which is basmati with fennel seeds; this adds so much jazz to the rice. The naan was nice and soft. The lamb curry was ok, and will probably try something else next time.

I got the chicken lunch special at $12.95 pre tax which comes with chicken tikka masala, one vegetable samosa, naan, soup, saffron rice, and 3 difference chutneys for dipping. The chicken tikka masala had a lot of seasoning and a lot of sauce. The chicken was very fresh, chewy, and chunky. I love the chutneys which made everything better. The naan was very soft and warm and easy to chew. The samosa was very starchy in my opinion filled with a lot of potato. Overall the meal was very affordable with a lot of appetizers to go along with the chicken tikka masala meal.

Loved the complimentary pappadums while we waited. The lentil wafers paired so nicely with the dipping sauces. The tamarind chutney was tangy with a hint of sweetness. The mint chutney is a vibrant blend of fresh mint, cilantro, green chilies, and spices. It has a bit of a kick. Ordered a lamb entree and a veggie korma to share. The lamb rogan josh was so rich. The lamb was so tender. It was served in a rich curry sauce infused with cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. So fragrant. The vegie korma was full of vegetables in a delicious creamy, almond and cashew nut sauce. Delicious! The garlic naan and the cheese naan paired perfectly with our curries. Service was great. and our water cups were always refilled! Nice to be able to walk from our hotel on Saturday night and get a booth without a reservation. Thank you to Neha for a great evening celebrating life over a delicious meal with our daughter.

The Jani Burger was amazing, perfectly cooked, with great pakistani flavor, and it was refreshing not to have a smash burger for once. The lamb chops were also cooked to perfection, perfect medium rare, super tender and very flavorful. The Nihari sandwich was also great, however I wish there was a little more unique flavor to it. The masala fries are alright, but I'd say you can skip those. On top of the great food, this service was even better. The staff was so friendly, checking in on us and even offering us a free mango lassi drink. The restaurant itself is comfortably casual with heat lamps inside, which is nice to have on a cold day, I imagine. i definitely recommend!

We at this on the sidewalk so it was still fresh when we got it. But for us the food just didn't hit. I recognize it's fusion, but maybe the way things were meant to be balanced didn't mesh. The (impossible burger patty) lahori felt quite bland. Maybe because the burger patty was so thick, but it just kind of was overwhelmed by generic beef patty taste which wasn't what I was expecting. The nihari had some really good flavor, but I found the bread was somehow both quite dry and soggy at the same time. It's hard to describe, but I felt like it was working against the actual nihari flavor. Sadly I do think something like naan or basmati rice would've been better. The fries were pretty unremarkable, too. Just tasted like fries you'd get at your local bodega. I don't expect the wheel to be reinvented when it comes to fusion restaurants, but I just felt nothing actually balanced themselves well (at least for what we ordered). For $50 pre-tip, I'm a bit disappointed. This place has been on my hit list for a while, but I can't see myself wanting to go back. Staff was friendly and the space, albeit small, can fit groups of 2-4 pretty easily. I have a few friends that really like this place, so maybe I'm just the odd one out.
